My first time checking out Bar Nun and I enjoyed it. The wall decor is fun, the staff is friendly and welcoming and it was pretty steady for a Wednesday night. We ordered the taco pizza and it was delicious. We did get a couple of drinks as well, it was overall a positive experience. Will definitely go back.

What a great downtown bar. They have fun events and ample indoor seating. They have a good selection of drinks. Could see myself going back here again 👍

The food is simply inedible. The sliders were as hard as hockey pucks. The chicken tenders were cardboard. This used to be a decent place but this was simply a waste of money. Its a cool place though. Just don't order food.

Went here with three other friends on a lovely day, when we arrived we were pretty much the only people in there, which seemed like a great opportunity to enjoy ourselves……unfortunately the service was far below par. As a bartender and service industry worker you would think you might be nice to the only customers you have but that was not the case. The older female bartender was not only rude, she wouldn’t make eye contact, and threw the cash change back at my friend as if ordering a drink was a chore for her. She was lacking charisma and hospitality, maybe this industry isn’t for you?, and she never let us order food. Will not be returning to this establishment.

I love this place! Awesome drinks, great staff and huge patio. The owner Butch is such a cool guy and always makes time to catch up and chat for a few. I highly recommend this neighborhood spot!

Love the vibe here. Great local hole in the wall with killer decor. Randy is the best bartender we will be back just to see him. I don’t drink alcohol and he made the best mocktails with such an artistic craft.

Kind and friendly stuff. Good food and reasonable price. Everything I ordered was bring timely. The food was warm and fresh. Good quality. I will go there again 😂

I love the decor this establishment has going on and the mystery vending machine is by far the craziest, completely epic thing I have come across while living here in Colorado just one month. The bar staff was friendly and the vibe was chill.

I was looking for a new spot to watch the Broncos game today and decided to check out Bar Nun in Cap Hill, and I’m so glad that I did! It’s a really cool space with a timeless divey, grungey vibe with tons of screens. There were lots of options of places to chill - tables, booths, a cool back room with a stage, outside on a covered patio. We chose to sit at the bar outside. The drink selection was great. I had a few beers and one of the best pickle shots I’ve had in Denver. I ordered some wings (sweet Thai chili), which were fabulous, and a supreme pizza which was one of the best I’ve had in quite sometime! The prices were fair and the service left nothing to be desired. I’ll definitely be back!

Visited last night for the first time. Hockey was playing and there were quite a few people for a Monday. Everyone from the staff to the other people were super nice and welcoming. Great seating and interesting art throughout. The room out back has tons of TVs (one huge) and a great sound system. Perfect for watching sports. Would def recommend!

Love this place! Reasonably priced drinks, decent food and great service. Gothic/emo theme inside with alot of horror art. We really connected with our bartender Randy and he took awesome care of us!

Had my fiancé’s birthday here and the owner Butch and the whole staff were super welcoming and accommodating! The food is very fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is fun and unlike any other bar in Denver. Very gluten-free friendly. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing, beer on tap was fresh. The atmosphere was a vibe, such cool art, and style. Service went above and beyond. Was down from Canada, randomly found it, and would suggest 10/10. (Got a salad, mac and cheese, and chicken fingers, all were top notch, I was skeptical of a salad at a bar, but it was great.) Will be hitting it next time I come down.

In Denver for 3 nights. First 2 , ate dinner here. Pizza and sliders, tots, curds, music, staff-all divine. And i don’t that word often.

We just happened upon this small eatery that has a different kind of vibe. Not necessarily for the geriatric generation. The music is sort of jazz and zombie like. The bartender also our waited was very friendly but slow on the uptake. He was not in any kind of hurry. Took our order while sitting at our table. The main bathroom floor was very very sticky, ewwww. Food was plentiful and delicious. Might be worth a stop in should you have time to spare. Not child friendly in my opinion.

Went in on 10/18/23 for a drink! Little bartender guy was super aggressive I had one beer and tipped a 1$ on a 8$ tab! Bartender put a 10$ tip in for himself guess he needs it more than I do. Hopefully it helped him out. could care less about the money would never tip somebody that much for such terrible service.

Another neighborhood joint. Nothing fancy. Decent service and food. Nice to enjoy dinner on a patio.

This place is a certified gem. If you don't love this place, you're probably a horrible person. Beautiful old building, brilliant decor, good food, great drinks, great prices. Our bartender Eric was a great guy, and I very much enjoyed my time. Will absolutely be a new frequent spot!

Really interesting, comfortable space. Cool old building. Friendly accomodating staff. Wicked good bartenders, their personal spins on traditional cocktails really made it for me. Quick delicious late night food to boot

Atmosphere was ok, service was good. The wings were good, not a big fan of the pizza. Honestly the flavor wasn't that great and it was burnt.

A super fun place to hang out. We love their make your own pizza! A good selection at the bar also.

Came here on Halloween with my partner while doing a ghost tour since we’re from out of state. The bar was amazing. Always Halloween themed. Staff always made sure we were good on our beverages or anything. All in all. Great experience in and out. Drinks we’re good and food was amazing. Definitely try the sliders or the mac and cheese. Best I’ve ever had

The food and service is what really got us. The service was amazing they came by our table and checked up on us consistently. The food was so good I personally got the Mac and cheese w/ chicken and it was delicious, My partner got the sliders and he said it was delicious too. We came here on Halloween night and the atmosphere was awesome.

Of all the places we went in Denver, this was hands down the best spot we went to. The owner, Butch, is so knowledgeable about bourbons and tequilas and has led us add so many new spirits to our list. If you want a great neighborhood bar with great people and a great atmosphere, this is your spot.
