Much Ado About Nothing in the Kilstrom Theater. Fantastic! A must-see! And the set is beautiful.

Such a great place to see a play! So many theater options, from Broadway to local shows. Musicals, drama and comedy. Symphony is wonderful as well. Decent places nearby for a drink or bite and several of the venues host private functions as well. Always a stimulating artistic adventure!

My husband and I saw A Christmas Carol on December 22nd at 7pm. It was packed and the show was AMAZING! The cast was just fantastic and the special effects made it kinda scary actually so we were impressed. Of course, you are not attending a public show unless a few people in the audience get confused and think they are the main event...This was the case for us as two teenagers behind us were talking the whole entire show. That did not spoil it though as the show was still a lot of fun and a cup of wine helped the immersion. This was one of those nights where it was in the negatives so it was very cold on our way out. We also had to go to the 7th floor of the parking garage despite getting there 45 minutes early (there are multiple plays going on at once so keep that in mind).

Love this complex even if it’s quite a drive away from Colorado Springs. I usually find parking elsewhere down the street cuz the attached garage is quite pricy. Gorgeous design to the open area complex housing the gateways to many different shows and plays. Gorgeous to walk around outside before your show starts. Many different theaters within the same connected complex. Be sure to check ahead of your trip to see if there are street closures or construction. Give yourself extra time to get settled and not have to rush or be late to your show.

We saw two performances: a play ("Clyde's) and the Colorado Symphony. Both were terrific! The respective halls were good--reasonably comfortable, clear views and good enough acoustics at the Symphony Hall. All in all, two terrific experiences.

I've been to the Buell Theater before, but this was my first time in the balcony. My hearing is pretty good, but we did not get quality sound in the cheap seats. Missed half of what was said so not a great value for this premium show. 😣

This is great facility with numerous options. Parking is convenient and there are places for Dinner/Drinks before or after the show. However we found the volume to exceed 90 decibels (peaking above 108) or higher for extended periods at the Beuell Theater in the balcony during the production of Sixt. With many young children this is excessive and can be dangerous. Tough to get the free ear plugs after the start of the show.

A priceless piece of Denver. Not only hosts the top Broadway traveling companies, but the local companies deliver performances at the highest level of professional regional theater. The DCPA has many theaters in its complex, including large traditional auditoriums suitable for major productions, smaller and more unconventional stages, opera, theater in the round, etc. Wonderfully managed, parking is (almost always) easy. Restaurants of every kind all over the place in walking distance. Only rub is big city prices for everything. But the experience equals what you find in NY, London and San Francisco.

Absolutely recommend taking the family to "A Christmas Carol" over the holiday season. We have made this an annual event. The cast is superb! The show is wonderful! The colors and the sets terrific! See you next year!

The talent that they are able to bring to Denver is amazing! I honestly beleive this is a better venue than Broadway

Beware, if you purchase box seats on the left side of the theater, there is ZERO access to bathrooms. Up four flights of stairs and on the right side of the theater. You'll miss the opening number. I guess it's better than spending $300 per ticket on Hamilton and looking at the back of an old white guy's head for 2.5 hours. Apparently there was a rotating stage... Another bonus: while you go to the bathroom and send your kid to wait in line for 15 minutes for water, they only take cards so you also don't get any water. Three shows in six months at DCPA and I think we're done. 👎👎👎

Paid upgraded prices and given last row balcony. I was told when I arrived that the lower priced seats were much better. Also told this is because the theatre is non-profit. No refunds. Totally disappointed.

I've been to several shows here and I've always appreciated the organization of the security and staff. The shows are great, the sound is great, I wish the seats were a little more comfortable though.

I've never had a bad word to say about the center...until today. We have been season ticket holders for a couple of years now and we've only had to change the dates a couple of times of previously scheduled shows.Sadly today was one of those days, and I was shocked and disappointed to find out that I had to pay the difference in the cost of the ticket even though they were the same cost section because the ticket price has gone up since we previously purchased them. When you buy season tickets, they tell you that it is free to change any time what they fail to tell you is that they will still screw you in the end. They gave you a discounted ticket price for the season ticket. But if you need to change it they don't care that you're a season ticket holder or give you any sort of respect in that fashion. It is still a great venue. But we are truly saddened by the lack of customer service.#### I've got an addition to this review. A member of the box office reached out and talked ne through why the cost was different than the original price, I don't completely agree with the companies stand on the issue but I am over the top pleased and impressed with the customer service. There isn't all that much that can be done about the cost but the service is unsurpassed! Thank you DCPA team.

I've been here many times but never left a review. Food and drinks are good and have reasonable prices. Prepare for the line to park in the parking garage. Entering and leaving, there's going to be a line. I always have a wonderful experience when I come for a performance. 1776 was really good, btw. Until next time.

Last night we got to see a performance of Choir Boy. The actors themselves were wonderful and the set minimal. It's always interesting how a couple of benches can be shuffled around a stage and you know exactly what space is being depicted. The show has shower scenes that were so elegantly done that the nudity became part of the art. A difficult subject put to the audience and demystified. We have had season tickets since 1986 and look forward to each production.

It's one of thre few places that it's not only acceptable, but actually required to drink your scotch (or any beverage) out of a sippy cup. :) Love the shows at DCPA and have been going for years and well continue to do so.

Bought some student tickets ($10 in orchestra) and Ring 3 tickets for adults ($15). Wonderful venue, beautiful acoustics!

I did not end up liking the play I saw but the venue was very nice! I enjoyed the variety of drink they had!

I love going to DCPA for shows but I was really disappointed that I couldn’t exchange or at least transfer my ticket for mean girls to another show despite explaining my circumstances with my flight being cancelled and the soonest flight I could get was 12/31, the day I was supposed to see mean girls. I get that it was the production that was being strict on transferring. But it still wasn’t my fault that my flight got cancelled and management should’ve talked to the production company with all the flights being cancelled on an exception. I realized I should’ve checked again but there were two seats left on 1/1 even though the agent said they couldn’t exchange. Basically the agent told me my only option was to find someone to use the tickets or resell it somewhere and not being empathetic toward my circumstances. Never heard back from DCPA when I messaged them. Thankfully my cousin and her friend used the tickets and really enjoyed it so I’m glad I found someone but really disappointed and upset that nothing could be done since these were circumstances out of my control and the soonest flight I can rebook was 12/31. Oh well, hopefully it doesn’t happen again so I don’t need to deal with this.

I love coming here to see the shows. But please be aware, if you are even slightly larger than the average person, you will be very uncomfortable the whole time. The arms of the chairs will dig into your sides, and you may not even be able to fit your bottom into the chair just as i couldn’t. Just know what you’re walking into. I’m tall as well so crossing my legs was not an option. It sucks but hey i guess you have to pay the price sometimes

Ain't too proud, the life and times of the Temptations was amazing! The singing, dancing and live music make it unforgettable.
