Not a happening location on Santa Fe, but parking was easy on the street. Once inside, interior is a nice place to hang out. I had a latte, which was good. They have the ability to roast on site. Coffee lovers may want to check it out.

Currently sitting in middle state right now — starting from service to coffee it’s been an excellent experience. I’m usually very hesitant about ordering espresso but I decided to give it a shot and it was amazing. I ordered a one and one and the espresso was perfectly extracted which I have found to be a rare experience. 10/10 recommend for the vibes and excellent coffee. Kudos to the late morning crew 💯

Diggin this spot located on the very south end of the Santa Fe artwalk circuit. Neighborhood is warehouse-industrial and they’ve done a good job incorporating that into the cafe where they make the most of the space with tiered seating/working options. Local art is alive and well with pieces hung on every wall. Brewed coffee was quality light roast and the baristas upheld the shop vibe without being too serious about it.

Great coffee spot. Had a very well made macchiato. Not a Starbucks sugar filled cup, a real macchiato. Very good roast. Woody, full flavor and aroma. Credit only as an FYI. I had exact change so they helped me out, but be prepared to have a card on you. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed a flavorful, exquisite mocha with latte art, friendly service, and inviting ambiance. I’m pretty picky about my coffee, and this was really well done. Much thought went into making the taste superb. MiddleState Coffee is right by the Art District in Denver. And considering I’m an artist and a patron of the arts, that’s a really good thing. There’s parking along the side street. Complimentary wi-fi is provided. I plan on going back. Visit MiddleState Coffee!

This is a super cute little coffee shop with a great staff. It's definitely a good place to stop for coffee on your way to work. Unfortunately the music is too loud for it to be a good place to do any remote work, and good luck finding any outlets if you need to charge your laptop. First cafe I've been to in a long time withOUT outlets conveniently located near most tables.

Superb. We are always combing Google Maps for craft coffee when we’re traveling and MiddleState was our favourite in the area. Coffee quality and preparation was excellent. We enjoyed the single origin espresso, a drip coffee and iced vanilla latte. Classy espresso setup and serving ware was delightful. The ambience was perfectly quirky and creative. Lots of cute, comfortable seating inside. Service was kind even after a busy morning. We also enjoyed the plain and everything croissant from a local bakery. Hope to return soon!!

An incredible experience, engulfed in a chill vibe with soft greenery and tables spaced for good seating. Very fast, was able to come during my break and return to work no issue. The flavor of the brew itself was to rich and bold, almost angelic. They had Oatmilk as an affordable add in, with very earthy flavors to add in. The iced Latte was smooth, The Mocha was extra Chocolatey. The lavender is so thick and Calming, dispersed perfectly into the drink. The RosemaryVanilla sweet & floral nonetheless, the Rosemary boldly taking command and not letting the Vanilla overtake it! Very delicious and excited to try a pastry with their Vegan milkshake next time I come

Love the iced orange latte special! It was super refreshing to drink while I studied. I love the unique music they played today, as well as all the art up on the walls. This cafe passes all my vibe checks. I'll coming around again!

I stop at every "third wave coffee" coffee shop I possibly can. Hands down, the best espresso I've ever had. They have given me the best shot I've ever had multiple times over. On top of that, one the coolest atmosphere and baristas I've experienced. 10/10

I’ve been coming here for two years now and while I love their house made syrups and sauces, they need to be weighing the grams for consistency. Sometimes my mocha is just the right amount of sauce and other times it is barely detectable. If they are supposed to be using scales to weigh out the sauce, the baristas aren’t using them all the time.

Amazing coffee roasted in house and served in a relaxing and welcoming space. Probably the best coffee in Denver.

Absolute best coffee shop in Denver! I'm so glad that I found them early on after my move from Minneapolis. It reminds me of being in San Francisco at this coffee shop -- great employees, great coffee, and beautiful style

Delicious coffee and burrito!!! I’m happy with our breakfast this morning. Way better than the continental breakfast of dried cereal and dry waffles. Thanks Mid State for the awesome fuel. Totally recommend the burrito plus rosemary vanilla latte with lots of vanilla. Yummy. Thanks Nasha for great service.

My new favorite local coffee shop! The vibe is so low key and chill, filled with sunlight, greenery and simple yet chic interior design. Love the coffee and other coffee drinks, I got the coffee milkshake and it’s an amazing ‘pick me up’. Staff are nice and well skilled at making delicious coffee. Such a hidden gem, feel I don’t even want to share with others, but here you go, highly recommended!
