I'm giving this a 2 because I had to sit in the car with our dog that wasn't allowed in. My husband, who left me sitting in the car for an hour, would have given you a 5. Disappointed our well behaved dog wasn't allowed. Couldn't leave her in car in this hot weather. Drove an hour for this to see nothing at the ranch.

Very quiet and peaceful here. The trails are wide and clean. Lots of beautiful scenery to take in. The trail is close to a gorgeous creek that takes you through a gorgeous walk in the mountains. Not too far from the city I definitely recommend this hike to all. Not too steep so easily manageable.

Walker Ranch is a large Boulder County park on Flagstaff Mountain. We visited the Ethel Harrold trailhead for a hike to Eldorado Falls. It was about 2 miles, all downhill to the waterfall and then all uphill back. It's a pretty area and the creek is really scenic. If we had more time, would have been nice to hike the entire Walker Ranch loop. It's a nice spot for a hike in nature to get away from the more crowded Flagstaff Mountain.

For windshield tourism this is a nice stop. The ranch is in a park setting and there is a nice 'artists point' to the west.

Great views and trails. Summertime is great for hiking, biking, or horse riding. The winter after a fresh snowfall is great for snowshoeing or hiking with microspikes.

A unique setting that was a working ranch in the late 19th century. It's only open to the public on select days. There are lots of hiking trails in the area that are open and accessible in the summer months.

Beautiful spot to hike! When doing the Walker Ranch Loop you spend time walking next to a river which makes for great pictures! Going counter clockwise is a little easier but it is still a moderate to strenuous hike. You can do it, it just might take a little longer. Took a group of 9 of us 4 hours.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Parking is limited and by the canyon road but we had no problem getting a parking on a sunny weekend morning. The hike to the falls is short and mostly stairways- a few downwards and then mostly uphill but is is really short, about few minutes. The falls is really beautiful and definitely worth spen...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ If you are into hiking, start off at the bottom of viewpoint trail (you don’t have to pay for parking!) and hike up to Panorama Point. It’s a steep and steady incline but if you hike at a moderate pace it will take you about 30 minutes and there are beautiful views at the top. Once at Panorama Point...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful hike and it do get steep at some points! You will have to climb a small rock face if you want to get to the view here at the First Flatiron. My dog had no problem going up, but she's athletic so just be aware. Make sure to take a picture of the map so you don't get lost (you should still...
