I
really
had
to
sit
and
think
about
whether
or
not
I
was
going
to
do
a
review
about
my
experience
here.
I
had
a
great
dentist
growing
up,
so
I
have
no
fear
of
the
dentist.
My
first
visit
was
great.
Patti
is
super
friendly,
and
the
hygienist
who
did
my
cleaning
was
very
gentle
and
kind.
It
went
downhill
from
there.
Dr
Collins
was
over
an
hour
late
for
one
of
our
appointments.
I
didn't
let
it
bother
me.
Things
happen.
My
last
appointment,
he
was
late
again.
Part
of
my
procedure
was
a
root
canal.
As
Dr
Collins
began
to
work,
he
told
me,
"If
you
don't
start
caring
better
for
your
teeth,
this
will
just
be
a
waste
of
time."
(Imagine
the
tone)
I
don't
have
a
rotten
mouth
of
teeth.
It
was
embarrassing
for
him
to
demean
me
in
front
of
his
staff.
As
we
got
further
into
the
procedure,
he
realized
he
could
not
complete
the
root
canal
and
scheduled
me
to
go
see
a
different
dentist
the
next
day.
I
guess
this
happens,
but
it
had
never
happened
to
me.
In
trying
to
figure
out
my
finances,
because
of
the
unscheduled
unscheduled
trip,
I
then
contacted
the
billing
lady
Raquel.
My
communications
with
her
were
as
disastrous
as
the
treatment
and
lack
of
respect
I
experienced
from
Dr
Collins.
I
received
multiple
communications
about
my
billing
and
was
told
that
I
had
treatments
I
did
not
have.
When
I
asked
for
my
money
to
be
refunded
for
what
I
had
paid
in
advance,
I
was
told
I
would
not
get
that
back
until
they
received
payment
for
the
little
money
my
insurance
owed,
a
few
hundred.
Mind
you,
this
was
a
couple
of
thousand
dollars
I
should
have
been
refunded.
Nearly
a
month
after
the
practice
received
payment
from
my
insurance
company
,
I
was
finally
issued
a
refund,
but
not
without
several
unanswered
emails
to
Raquel.
It's
not
often
in
my
life
that
I
feel
so
disrespected
by
anybody,
personal
or
professional,
that
I
feel
requires
this
much
effort
to
address.
I
hope
nobody
ever
has
to
go
through
this
experience
themselves.
I
hope
this
is
an
opportunity
for
individuals
at
this
practice
to
consider
how
they
treat
their
patients.
