SURPRISE 25% gratuity on our party of 6. My friend ordered AYCE dinner, 1 beer & 1 sake & walked out paying $83 👎🏽👎🏽 Menu said “party of 5 or more will pay gratuity” but there was not sign or disclaimer even when the reservation was made that it was any higher than the 18% industry standard. Shocking surcharge completely tainted our experience. Food was good, atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly but having no heads up we would be paying significantly more than we planned…will never return for dinner. More than half of the tables are NOT on conveyor belt. If it’s important to you to sit by the conveyor belt, make the specific request when making reservations or you will look at it longingly from the corner 👎🏽

Cute place but definitely overpriced. Came in with my partner for her birthday. I don't eat hot pot so I was just planning on getting sushi. The roll options are relatively limited but that wasn't the issue. Our server only allowed for us to order one roll even though there were 2 of us and I said I only wanted sushi no hot pot. Fine, I can just order one at a time cause my partner didn't want a whole lot of sushi and there was a belt of options to pick from. Except all the sushi (other than nigiri) on the belt had cucumber. I'm allergic to cucumber so I couldn't take those and the roll I ordered had to be sent back cause it had cucumber in it even though the menu didn't state it. When I mentioned it the server was like oh yeah our menu is wrong some times. At the end of it I only ate 1.5 rolls, some gyoza and 8 pieces of nigiri. Our tab came out to just shy of 100$ for 2 people. And I wasn't even full. Overall it's a cute place though and my partner had a good time, which was the most important thing c: I liked the little train that brings you your sushi. Just go there expecting to get full off of hot pot and I think it would be a good time.

If you're going for dinner, make a reservation! What a great experience! The waitress was so helpful and nice. She brought us 2 hot plates because my man doesn't eat beef and didnt want the flavors to mix ! I, myself, ordered the All Day special. Definitely get the wagyu! So good!! Sushi was also 🔥!

Great service from the servers! They’re very informative and quick. I like the hotpot/sushi combo. Food was okay. Broth (medium spicy donkatsu) could have been more flavorful. Also had better and more variety of hotpot ingredients elsewhere. Sushi was also okay. It’s a smaller restaurant so get there quickly to put your name on the waiting list. Thankfully for me it was just two of us so we got in quickly. Parking is also very limited in that area and it’s toll street parking.

Chubby Cattle is absolutely amazing!! I love that it is an AYCE hot pot, sushi, and conveyor belt in one. When it first opened, it was a la carte and I hadn't been back since until now. The staff was so on top of the service in taking away dirty dishes, checking in to see if we were doing good, and asking if we needed to order any more items such as sushi rolls. Everything was so delicious and I really enjoyed the TomYum soup base for my hot pot. My sister got the miso base and she loved it. When we walked in, the hostess said that all the tables were full and asked if sitting at the bar was ok. Um, ABSOLUTELY! How else would I have access to the conveyor belt?? Above the conveyor belt is anothet track where the sushi chef places your order on top of it and sends it directly to your seat. It's pretty awesome!!

Sushi is great for an all you can eat experience. The Hot pot was a new experience for me but also welcoming and had several options. Charming atmosphere with a sushi conveyor and overhead train that will deliver to your seat. Space may be too small for how popular it is during busy hours and quickly gets loud. Definitely call to reserve ahead if planning a party of 5+

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional sushi and hot pot restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped in, the inviting ambiance of the place set the perfect tone for a wonderful meal. The cleanliness and well-thought-out decor added to the overall positive atmosphere. The sushi selection was truly impressive, with each piece showcasing a perfect blend of freshness and creativity. The chef's expertise was evident in every bite, and the variety of rolls catered to diverse tastes. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh, and the presentation of each dish was a feast for the eyes. What truly stood out, however, was the hot pot experience. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the quality of the ingredients, from the meats to the fresh vegetables, was outstanding. The interactive and communal aspect of hot pot dining made the meal even more enjoyable. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness added another layer of excellence to the dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations, and their prompt service made the evening seamless. Overall, this sushi and hot pot restaurant exceeded my expectations. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its top-notch culinary offerings, welcoming ambiance, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

I was excited to go here after seeing all the good reviews and nice photos, but I was quickly disappointed. First, there were rules that I’ve never seen before at an AYCE place. We could only order one meat per person, only limited number of nigiris, and limited number of sashimis at a time. We could order more only if we finished the food and that means we have to wait till the older male host come and take our order. Second, we picked the wagyu option and the wagyu was really small and thin unlike anything in the photos online. The sashimis were alright, but the roll was underwhelming. The food on conveyor belt was boring and are low quality sushi roll. Third, the sauces were really inauthentic. No goma tare, only ponzu. No pasteurized eggs for sukiyaki hotpot. The options were eel sauce, siracha, siracha mayo etc. which don’t quite go with the hotpot. Fourth, they have only one server who cannot take orders, only the older male host can, so you have to wait till he come around to be able to place your order again. I could not get the queue online so I have to go in person and wait about 20 mins though they have empty tables. I chose sukiyaki based which tasted fine to me. I probably would not go back since it wasn’t quite a happy experience being told what I can and cannot order though being all you can eat hotpot.

Finally tried chubby cattle in Demver....I have been to the one in Las Vegas..... This one is cool....the AYCE is cool....28.99 for lunch.....gets you hotpot and sushi. The stuff for the hot pot is a bit awkward to get in the refrigerators....if it was busy I could see it getting pretty congested at that point. When sitting at the sushi bar instead of a table it's nice that there is the conveyer belt you can grab from..... Food was really top quality! My only issue was our server....not sure if he was busy, or just not nice but he was pretty rude, very harsh speaking....definitely not good with hospitality.

It's very cramped but absolutely amazing. The spicy broth was not just ridiculously hot but had an amazing flavor with a beautiful heat on it. Perfect for this cold Denver night. Our servers were very tentative despite it being a full house. 10/10 Highly recommended.

This spot is a dream for hotpot and sushi lovers! They have fantastic all-you-can-eat hotpot and amazing sushi on a conveyor belt. The sushi just keeps coming, and it's all so tasty. Plus, they have a great self-serve hotpot station. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Definitely, i would recommend this place to my friends and bring them to enjoy eating the food!!!
