I am extremely fond of this stunning downtown Denver Catholic church which sits snugly underneath one of Denver’s high rise buildings. Stepping inside, you forget that you are in a modern city at all (a blessing, really) and feel more that you are in a European Church in some German town. Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist seems so palpable here and it is also here that my devotion to Saint Joseph grew vis my visits to the side altar to him. The Christmas Season here is not to be missed. Christmas Eve Masses are so moving, brilliant and warm. Come Holy Spirit!!!

Beautiful is the word. Divine is the experience. I was there when someone was trying out the organ. Just imagine the feel when it would be playing

A beautiful church very welcoming, a traditional mass. Father Paul had a wonderful sermon. We were there on the feast day of Saint Monica.

As the Church goes through crisis, spiritual orders are the answer. These OMV's are trusted to deliver Sacraments no matter what!

Beautiful church, a classic example of the beauty we often see in these old Catholic churches. The Christmas Mass was deeply moving and beautiful in Latin. The operatic choir, the orchestra, and the majestic pipe organ came together to produce music like we rarely hear in these modern times. It was a blessing to attend

The chorus I sing with Canto Deo Chamber Singers Sang here on December 3rd. Beautiful Catholic Church. Amazing architecture in the sanctuary. Acoustics are outstanding. The organ is a pipe organ and with a good organist makes beautiful sounds. This church is very historic and you should visit it for a service or check the hours it is open to go see this beautiful church.

Beautiful church, kind people. Latin mass at 10 is only an hour and is more of a hybrid form- all prayers in Latin, readings in English. Perfect first Latin mass experience!

Arguably the most beautiful church in Denver after the Cathedral. Unlike the Cathedral though this actually feels like a real parish. It is also the most truly welcoming parish I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing. There are daily opportunities for confession, mass and opportunities to grow in the knowledge and practice of the faith.

Beautiful Catholic Church in the heart of Downtown Denver. Love going there for Mass and confession whenever possible. Priests are great!

We went to the 10am Mass on the Solemnity of Christ the King of the Universe. It truly was a beautiful concert! Unfortunately, my daughter and I were seemingly the only ones singing in the pews, and I don’t blame them for not singing. There isn’t a cantor to lead them and the acclamations were performance pieces, meant to be listened to and not for congregational participation. The Kyrie and Gloria took a combined 20 minutes. Had I been attending a concert, it would have been fabulous. But, instead, we were at Mass standing while listening to professional musicians perform parts of the liturgy that were meant for our participation. Also, the liturgy was very disjointed, jumping from English to Latin in unexpected ways, it didn’t make any sense to me, as a liturgist. It wasn’t Extraordinary Form nor Novus Ordo, it was like a hodgepodge of the two liturgies. As a visitor, all would have been much better received if they had a worship aid for each weekend’s liturgy with hymns and expected responses (English and Latin) but when I requested an aid for what responses would be in Latin and English, I was only given a hymnal to use, no clue ahead of time which Eucharistic prayers would be used or which would be in Latin vs English. It was not a prayerful experience for us at all, as visitors. I love both forms of the Mass, and I am used to high Masses with beautiful hymnody, as I work for the Ordinary here in North America. But I feel this parish needs to reevaluate their Mass and pick which form they are going to do. And if it’s Novus Ordo, please allow congregational singing for the acclamations.

Beautiful architecture and position embraced by a glass skyscraper. The insides are elaborate and it still holds real masses that welcome everyone.

Really nice interior. It's a call back a little bit to the old school design. Stained glasses. Carved arches. Etc. Next year the church is unfortunately surrounded now by tall buildings that dwarf it. Might have looked a little more dignified when it was a standalone structure.

Staying and saying I'm "blessed" all the time, just to trip on a pile of bundle sounds over used, though.. And SHEET does happen even to good people, and the wisest of the wise. The courageous, even to those who believes that their gas smells of lavender, and so on and so forth of which, it is okay. It only makes one a human. ....Yet Cathedrals are mysticals. Almost magical and freakish. And I remember that they would hold banquets here for the needy. And the priests at the communion are open minded about that life......... My aunt owned a Santo Ă‘ino statue by the way, and I'd have a staring contest with it growing up.

The priests there are so kind. Awesome experience every time I go to Confession there. I feel refreshed afterwards. There are always people praying there. Very welcoming place.

Very beautiful! I wish I would of been able to find some information about history of the church as we were visiting from another state and had never been there before.

This church is absolutely stunning. The architecture, the beautiful stained glass, the statues and side altars were so beautifully crafted. The main altar took my breath away. We attended the 10 am Latin Choral Mass and it was so beautifully reverent. The schola choir was magnificent… I felt as if the angels in heaven were indeed singing praise and glory to our Father. The mix of Latin and English was so much appreciated and the use of the communion plate and altar servers guarding the particles of our Lord was wonderful to see. I highly recommend this beautiful church and the 10 am Mass. Fathers homily was relevant filled with truth in charity.
