We went to Dragonman’s early Sunday afternoon and had just missed the tour that morning. We had mentioned we were from Long Island and Mel immediately invited us into his shop and let my kids sit on his dragon bike. We took pictures and printed them and returned Wednesday at 10 am for the tour. He signed the pictures and then we went on the tour through the military museum. This is his private collection mind you. We were blown away at the amount of items he’s collected over the past 50 years! He’s meticulously put together into military campaigns from The civil war to Afghanistan. The tour last 2 hours and 20 minutes and we could probably go 10x and still not absorb half of what is displayed or the knowledge that Mel and crew tells you along the guided tour. My father is a vet. And appreciated every moment and his dedication to memorializing all those who’ve served. If you’re ever in Colorado Springs you need to visit Dragonman’s it’s amazing and not only a military museum but a gun store, shooting range, 4x4 track, paintball and soon to be RV park. Thank You Mel form your warmth, humor and sharing your passion with us! And thank you for your service and the service you provide to all who visit your “home”

Wow… what an experience. Enjoyed the entrance and totally enjoyed the time spent. We were vacationing and wanted to spend our time with our family who are active military. This place was perfect for us to shoot the riffles and guns. Thank you for allowing us the freedom to enjoy our freedoms and shoot.

My husband absolutely loved it to be here. We sadly didn’t read before, that we had to book a tour on specific days. (Last year October.) So we just talked and got to see some cool items. We also got some shirts for free (don’t tell anyone.) It was a pleasure, we won’t forget! Thanks for having us. God bless you.

What an amazing place this is! The museum alone is worth the visit! If you want a unique and amazing place to come see while you're in the area and you love history museums that aren't the normal "run 'o' the mill" museum, come here! You will not be disappointed! Dragon Man and his team are amazing! The tour was probably the best museum tour I've ever had, and I got to see things that aren't in any museum, guaranteed! The tour does take about 2.5 hours like the website says, so plan accordingly. If you're not a museum person (although trust me, you should see this one) there is still plenty to do including a full paint ball course, shooting ranges and a dirt bike park to name a few! You can also purchase guns here if you're in the market for one! Truly a very unique place and I'm happy we got to participate in the tour and see this amazing place! I highly recommend coming here!

An expansive and in-depth tour through history, the museum is packed wall to wall with authentic military items. The collection covers every war that America was involved in, and includes everything from bullets and cigarettes, to tents and tanks. Impressive place, definitely worth a visit!

Joey was such a great person to meet! He really made my son and I feel very comfortable, was extremely informative and friendly with a huge safety focus. This is the first time going to Dragonman's since I was a child who came here a couple of times for paintball. This place has an affordable range price, amazing staff and offers a complimentary place for your targets. We will be going again and soon.

What an amazing place if you're a red blooded American! Went on the museum tour. Mind blowing artifacts from America's military involvement from the Revolution to the Afghan war. Lots of grim reminders of the violence and bravery of these conflicts. Also a really neat collection of 1950's Americana with hot rods, juke boxes, had pumps and fashion. Very enjoyable time. The gun store is also impressive and hope to take advantage of the ranges on the next trip.

Today we had a guided tour of the military museum. There is a ton history packed into their buildings and both tour guides were amazing. They spoke loud enough for our large group to hear, answered questions and were very knowledgeable about every weapon, vehicle, display, and war in our countries history. This is a must stop and see when you are in Colorado Springs.

I've known Mel since the early 90's. His place is amazing, the museum is one of the best in the country. Stop in if you haven't been, you won't be disappointed.

Took a week long family trip to Colorado Springs and Drangonman's was BY FAR the coolest, most interesting and fun thing we did while we were there. Dragonman himself came along on our guided tour. He and the other guides were very knowledgeable, and extremely funny and friendly! I can't say enough about this place. Do not miss out if you have the opportunity to go!

Really enjoyed shooting out in this space. They have multiple ranges for different types of guns, i.e.: machine guns, high powered rifles down to hand guns and shot guns. The rules to shoot are very specific for everyone's safety. The price was reasonable as well. Only issue was a storm was blowing the dust around. Can't fight Mother Nature.

This is hands down the best war museum I have ever been to! The guys are very knowledgeable and the bonus tour of vintage cars and Elvis stuff is amazing !!! Well worth the 20 dollar cost, which goes back into the museum. Definitely will be visiting again !
