Best. Cup. Of. Coffee. Seriously though the coffee I ordered was probably one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Although the location is quite unassuming, it is rather cozy in an industrial type of way. There are a couple of tables with chairs and a nice selection of coffee gifts like cups, t-shirts, cards and more. Of course you can also buy different types of coffee beans depending on your taste! I ordered a latte (to go) with the delicious house blend. Choose from regular coffee type of drinks, although they don’t have ice so don’t looks for any iced drinks. If you decide to enjoy your coffee inside you will get front row seats to see the masters at work behind the glass.

Best of Denver for the specialty coffee enthusiast with a palate fixed towards lighter roasts. Super friendly staff willing to help guide your choices! Love this place. Staple of my home brew rotation and love to stop by for an espresso drink Update 10/13/21: ordered an espresso and watched the barista meticulously grind, pour and time two shots to make sure I was getting a quality spro. 😍 Also their bagged coffee is never more than a week old, typically just a few days!

One of my favorite roasters & cafes around Denver 🤎 delicious coffee & espresso, and amazing pastries too! We stop by here any time we’re in the area (and sometimes when we aren’t but have the time lol). Also we have always loved the artistry on the bags, everyone loves receiving the coffee as gifts around the holidays and comments on how beautiful the bags are! Keep doing the amazing things you are Sweet Bloom. Anyone thinking of going here - yes, do it!! Ps. please keep the cardamom pistachio Bundt cake forever!

Friendly, fresh, great variety. Small front for coffee roaster. 5 years later: slightly larger front for roaster! Great modern industrial fit out. One of the most extensive single origin bean 🫘 selections: 8 listed on their menu. Worth the effort to find. Can be noisy if considering a chat / phone call / work - beans roasted throughout day. WiFi.

Any time I travel, I make it a point to seek out new and interesting coffee shops. Found sweet bloom entirely through serendipity, but what good fortune. This was easily one of the best-made, best-roasted cups I've ever had anywhere in the country. The baristas were all friendly and knowledgeable, but the beans were the absolute star of the show. Went back the next day and dropped 50 bucks so I can have some at home and to share with friends. The coffee shop ambiance is whatever. You're basically drinking in a warehouse and the cafe space was created almost as an afterthought, or a way to turn some unused square footage into revenue. The roaster is loud, but who isn't listening to headphones these days? The five stars are for the unbelievable beans and the attention to detail in the drink craft, and that's wholly separated from a physical space.

If you're unsure about attending a cupping event at Sweet Bloom because you don't consider yourself a coffee connoisseur, let me offer some perspective. The more you learn about the product you're experiencing, the more you can appreciate its fine details and subtle nuances. It's like hiking with a guide who can keep you on the right path while pointing out the natural vegetation, the different calls of birds, and the history of landmarks. These are all things you might have seen before, but with a story to help you appreciate them even more. In this case, you can take a bag of coffee home with you and experience it every day with a newfound appreciation and education on what goes into that cup of morning coffee. Just a word of caution, cupping involves sharing the same coffee with others and using the same cup to rinse your spoon. Although there is a nearby cup of water to clean your spoon, it's used by everyone else as well. If sharing germs with strangers makes you uncomfortable, then this might not be the activity for you.

My favorite coffee of all time! After living locally for several years and then moving away, I was able to take Sweet Bloom with me by signing up for their two-bag roasters choice subscription. It's my favorite delivery each month. Their customer service is also top notch, although I've only needed it once in several years!

Best coffee shop in Lakewood, possibly even Denver! Staff are knowledgeable and precise when crafting coffees, perfectly balanced every time. Highly recommended from a self described coffee snob!

Best coffee we have found across Denver metro area. Knowledgeable and friendly baristas, great events like meeting coffee growers and cuppings. Can’t rate high enough!!

This cafe was a little difficult to spot from the street, but not without good reason. They house a partial industrial space for roasting — partial cafe for hangout and sips, all under one roof. Overall the cafe/roastery was extremely intimate and inviting with all of the dim warm lighting and wooden accents. The roaster WAS a little loud for me if i were to sit for a while, but the short visit was only a minor inconvenience compared to the excellent espresso. Great quality and selection of single origins and blends alike.

Wow! What a bright, clean and organized space. As soon as you walk in you know you’re going to get a great cup of coffee and that these people are serious about their craft. I chose a Colombia pour over and was very happy! Smelled amazing. Juicy and bold with a clean finish. Delicious.

Sweet Bloom is currently my favorite roaster in Denver metro. Great beans, great space, and unique opportunities like coffee tasting and classes.

As a former craft coffee roaster, I don't usually like leaving reviews like this, but after a few bad experiences I feel like I need to say this. The whole business has a very low effort, "take it or leave it" attitude. Not having ice because they're a warehouse? The shop I used to roast in was a warehouse, and I hate to break it to you, but we had plenty of ice. Also, I'm not a big flavored coffee guy, but surely a cafe should have more than 3 flavors. And just from a pure quality standpoint, the nitro cold brew is way too watered down, and the pastries (at least the ones I had) were insanely dry and crumbly. Overall, after several visits to give Sweet bloom additional chances, I still have yet to have a good experience. At this point I do not see myself coming back.

First time coming here after reading numerous good reviews , very open and air flows very good . For me it’s an ok . The staff is nice my only concern is the music is a little too loud , I wanted to read and it was kinda difficult, 2. It’s cold in here , I appreciate the air flow but bring your sweater it’s chilly and makes the coffee cold. 3, I didn’t like my latte ordered a regular coffee and I didn’t like it either It tastes funny or it’s burnt . And honestly I love a hot cup of coffee but their coffee is lukewarm. Overall it looks nice and clean
