The most amazing urgent care I've ever been to!! Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and most efficient. The whole process was extremely painless..beginning to end. Triage, then straight into a room when a PA does a thorough exam and history...Facility is very clean and well organized thanks to the most capable Amanda Garcia, the manager. All of her hard work is reflected in the well oiled machine that is AFC!!! Every patient receives a follow up call next day to see how their experience was!!! As a retired registered nurse of 45 yes, I highly recommend this facility!!!!

I have used this location in the past and have had a positive experience each time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Since I was already in their database I was able to quickly pull-up my information and sign all the disclosures via my phone. The facility is clean and well maintained. The parking lot is small however so street parking may be better for you if you have a large vehicle.

Best place to go for COVID testing. They have on line appointments. Once you arrive the staff is amazing. The process is well organized and you are in and out with results in 15 minutes. The staff are very kind and compassionate and make the experience pleasant. I have been there three times and every visit has been awesome.

AFC is well-staffed so there isn't a long wait even when there are a lot of patients. Receptionists are friendly and informative through the check-in process. I was happy to be seen by a PA with a student shadowing them as they provided more details and spent more time with me than I typically expect. Having students in the clinic also speaks to the quality of care since the staff are in a position to educate.

I had a phenomenal doctor yesterday (Jen I think was her first name) who did an extensive eye test on the spot and determined I had a corneal ulcer and referred me to an ophthalmologist immediately. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received here and this doctor saved me from something that could have turned into a very serious condition. Even the ophthalmologist was very impressed. I will always go here for every need and am so proud to live up the block from this office!!! Highly recommend!

Was the most pleasant urgent care experience ever!!! The manager, Amanda Garcia makes it a point to greet every patient. She and her staff are kind, warm and extremely understanding in a time of sickness and stress. The facility is pristine and very orderly... I highly recommend this facility!!!

Took my son to get his toe checked because something was dropped on it. The swelling under the nail was causing him discomfort. The PA was witty and funny. He kept my son emotionally engaged in banter, easing his worries by the end. After having his toe drained of excess blood from under the nail, my son said it was the best ans funniest doctors visit he has ever had.

I took my husband today for a trigger shot and I have to say “The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! The doctor was immensely patient and took the time to explain the procedure to us! I would be happy to recommend this clinic to anyone

I have used the AFC West Islip facility several times. The front desk staff is always courteous and helpful. The wait time was minimal, however, the waiting room always clean and comfortable. As far as the medical care I received… All I can say is that Dr. Mojid was professional and knowledgeable. The nurses and support staff were also great.

My daughter had an injury and we went to another urgent care that was rude and wanted us to pay before assessing if they could even help. We left there and called AFC and they immediately said to bring her in. The doctor was amazing and stitched my daughter up quickly. Wonderful and kind service. I will make this place my “go to” in the future.

Service in this facility is extremely fast and professional. On the day I came in I had mentioned I was having difficulties breathing. The receptionist was quick on her feet and made sure she asked all the rights questions to get me in the door quicker if necessary. Similarly with the doctor. He was able to diagnose me very quickly once I gave him details of my symptoms. Will be going to this office again in the future.

The “New patient check-in” was so easy and we were in and out in 1/2 hour. The Staff was so patient and kind with our sickly 4yr old and the doctor had wonderful bedside manors and very knowledgeable. We usually only take the kids to another urgent care service for “kids only” but sometimes waiting on them to open is difficult. Now that we have been to AFC, we have no problem making the switch. Thank you!

I am totally amazed by the care that this offer is provided. Everything was top shelf. The facility is beautiful clean. The front desk and aids are caring and obviously well trained. The doctor was wonderful explaining things. I’ve never been to a better urgent care ever and I am 84 years old so you can imagine I’ve been before they were great.

I did not have the opportunity to review any services offered by this urgent care facility. This morning, arriving prior to opening, I was amongst a group of people waiting in line. After the center opened at 8 am, there were still a few of us that had to wait outside - no one from inside the building informed anyone that there was additional, socially-distanced standing room inside the lobby. After over 30 minutes of waiting on line, I was told by the desk attendant that they were not accepting walk-ins due to a large number of appointments. On the door to the building it clearly marked that they *are* taking walk-ins even while COVID testing continues. If you are filled with appointments for testing and are unable to take walk-ins, you should have that clearly marked and inform people who have been waiting in line. The cavalier attitudes of the front desk and the time that was wasted this morning ensures I will not visit here again.

PA Carlos is absolutely amazing! I truly wasn’t expecting the urgent care to help much with my injury and thought they’d send me elsewhere. PA carlos proved me wrong and took such good care of me and made me feel super comfortable even though I hate needles!!! The best, will absolutely be coming back for any urgent needs!

First off the clinic is so clean. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The young lady Isabella was so kind and caring. From the front to the back was so smooth. This is the first clinic i came to that i felt like i was a important and there was a short wait time to be seen by the doctor. Medication was sent directly to the pharmacy and was available for me to pick up for when i left. I will definitely be coming back.

I'm very grateful that AFC is always available for service. The staff is friendly and I received the care from their heart like an extended family. Everyone is very friendly, compassionate and caring. Very professional environment and with great personality, skills and informative. I brought my two year old in for a bug bite that appeared infected after her pediatrician told us they didn’t have appointments for several days. We were brought back quickly, put in a kid friendly room and she was treated with a great deal of kindness. We were very happy with our experience.

Worse urgent care ever!!!! The front desk staff is extremely rude and lacks empathy. They denied me service since and only service my son. We have the same insurance just difference member ID numbers. I explained in different ways that I have coverage but the card hasn’t arrive and I only have my insurance card that has health-first on it but that won’t be starting until October. They would cut me off in mid sentence and just say NO and be extremely dismissive towards me. Including the manager that spoked to me stated I would need to end up paying for service if they even service me which it’s nonsense since I currently have INSURANCE!!!! Don’t go to this please if you want to be treated like garbage. I recently got on the phone with them and the lady cut me off in mid sentence and was very annoyed in speaking to me when I was addressing the fact that I have insurance and still stated well without no card we cant service you it’s just in our policy and didn’t allowed me to speak any further. She even said it’s FRAUD which it makes zero sense…They lack customer service skills for sure. I have used them in the past when I had my other insurance Tricare and that didn’t even need an insurance card since it’s military coverage but the moment I have a new coverage they dismiss me like toilet paper. Safe yourself the drive and go somewhere else!

The Young Ladies were very nice and patient checking me in as I was feeling weak & out of breath. Then I met the all to kind Dr. who was also patient kind. The place was lovely and Super Clean. Thank you for caring for me.

I felt compelled to write a review because I felt I was misdiagnosed and did not have a chance to even voice the reason for my visit. I came into the office because my main complaint was having a consistent low grade fever with debilitating cold symptoms for 7-8 days straight. Dr. Mojid came into the room, asked me why Im here and then after I said just 1 sentence, he immediately says "Its allergies". He then checked my ears and throat and that was it (No Nose swab or throat swab or even listening to my chest). I am someone who is fortunate to not be troubled with any allergies so I was confused with his answer but he just kept saying its allergies and then left the room. From my understanding, allergies do not cause fevers and to still have a fever on my 8th day straight, I found it negligent on his part to not consider any other possibility. I am giving the bad review because of his medical examination on me. The Office itself is kept very clean and the rest of the staff were great and I were seen very promptly and the rest of the office should not be considered in part of this review.

My 3 year old always cry’s at his pediatrician, they couldn’t take him so I came to AFC and my son literally left saying “I love doctors!” What a great experience. Clean, fast, efficient. I will always come here god forbid I need to. Really made my visit with a toddler SO much easier. Thank you!

I went to AFC urgent care in West Islip because my breathing was a bit off and I felt like I had a real bad cold.The staff was friendly and the place looked very clean, which means a lot to me. I was seen in less than 15 minutes, which is way better than some of the other urgent cares I've been to. I was very satisfied with the care I was given and would definitely go back there for any future health concerns.

This place is full of !!!SCAMMERS!!! I should’ve known when I walked in and it was completely empty meanwhile PROHEALTH packed The incompetence of this place is just unacceptable went to go get a Covid test and they were only pushing me to get rapid and I chose to get both pcr and rapid . THEN THEY CLAIM THAT THEIR ONLINE PORTAL DOESNT WORK HENCE WHY I NEVER GOT MY RESULTS My rapid came back negative and they said they would call me back with my pcr results the next day 4 days later no call and I end up in the hospital with my new born child. This place is a complete scam I wouldn’t recommend them for a simple thing since they are so incompetent. ASHLEY PEREZ & AMANDA GARCIA ARE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT Simra laughed at the fact that my child got sick this place is absolutely disgusting.

Went to AFC West Islip for a Covid Test and Ear Infection. The entire staff was phenomenal. My wait was short and the medical assistant Kayla was friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. Dr. Nicole was very helpful and prescribed medication for my ear infection with clear instructions for home care. Thank you AFC.

I went to AFC urgent care in West Islip today and I have nothing but great things to say about the whole experience. Both my children ages 2 and 5 were seen today. The facility was clean and sanitary. The girls at the front desk were very sweet with my children. The wait was not long and I was taken right in. The nursing staff was very nice too. The doctors were knowledgeable and caring. They were super genuine. The medicine was sent right over to my pharmacy and was done by the time I got there. I’ve been to other urgent cares in town and have left with no answers or medicine. The staff wasn’t half as kind, nor was the facility as clean. Also, I have had to go back multiple times for the correct diagnosis to only finally be given the medicine. If you haven’t tried AFC yet, seriously give them a try. Highly recommend!!!

My son was seen yesterday and he was tested for Covid. Thank God results are negative. He had a good experience with nurses and doctor. My son has Autism, but he was comfortable answering the doctor's questions. We found out he has allergies and this was a relief for him. was a relief for him.

Glad that is nearby, I rather go with AFC than to the hospital, because I don't have to wait hours to be seen. Great service, specially with the covid test.

From the front desk checking me in to the nurse and doctor all were caring. With all my other health problems they were very concerned, but they treated like they knew me for years. I hope I will never have to go back again but if emergency care is needed, I will be very happy to trust going back. So again, Thank you to all the staff Please Keep Smiling always 👍

Everyone was polite knowledgeable and cared for me. I would recommend this facility to all family and friends. I was there in May ( I think) I cut my thumb on a tin can Brian and Allen took care of me and saved my thumb I can’t praise them enough. Wonderful asserts to your facility. We had to get COVID tests for travel. We made an appointment and barely waited 5 minutes. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We then started to stress about receiving the results in time and Lilian’s went out of her way to check the results multiple times during the day. She was always pleasant and patient and helpful. More patient than I would have been with myself! We got the results in time and the whole experience with AFC was really above expectations.

I went in yesterday morning after cutting my finger that required stitches , let me tell you everyone starting from the front desk receptionist, the medical assistant and PA were amazing. They greeted me with smiles, listened to my concerns, explained everything to me. It was such a pleasant experience given the circumstances.. the faculty was clean and neat. I work I’m healthcare and know how things can be. Definitely 5 stars. I would go back if needed and recommend anyone there.

It was easy making an appointment and I was seen on time with basically no wait. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were clean. My medical issue was properly treated and I'm feeling much better. I highly recommend this AFC and would return if I have a future problem.

My only issue is that person at check in desk was not wearing mask properly. Since so many people still coming in for testing, every staff member should demonstrate compliance with mask protection. Otherwise, everyone was very nice and efficient .

We were able to make a same day appointment to get COVID tested and to get checked out by a Dr. It was great to be able to do this fast. We left w results and spoke w the dr about issues. Easy to make appointments fill out paperwork and upload insurance and id. Overall good experience. No wait once we got there.

Young respectful, friendly, professional and very helpful staff. The doctors are knowledgeable and not Judgy. Clean and neat office. The couple of times I’ve been there I didn’t have to wait long to be seen. Convenient location. Easy accessible parking. Of all the urgent care places I’ve been to this location is top on my list. I have been been here a few times. And it’s always very professional. I respect the workers here and their hard work. I’ve been in the medical field, and can see when someone is dedicated to their work, and this staff most definitely is. I had a scary experience yesterday and was in complete panic. But they made sure to get down to the bottom of it and were extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Thank you all.

I had to go to AFC today. I had the outstanding service of a nurse named Kayla. Not only was she very helpful. Kayla was very knowledgeable about her duties as a nurse. She was gentle and very respectful. That is one AFC I will definitely go back to because of the services I received. Thank you……

My experience with AFC urgent care. Who were professional, kind, very understanding to my situation since my finger was bleeding. Nicole performed the stitches she is an asset to AFC Very friendly ,comforting And explain the care and aftercare, the two girls at the front to greet me and to take my information were very professional and friendly. Went to AFC over the weekend with my hole family. We saw PA Selena L. She was amazing! She made my two girls feel so comfortable and explained everything so thoroughly. She checked us all for everything and made sure to go over all our concerns. A few days later and we are all feeling much better ! I highly recommend AFC and Selena. I won’t ever go to another urgent care.

I was a walk-in at the Urgent Care. They were professional and timely. I was in and out in 40minutes. I only had to wait 15 minutes to be seen by the doctor. It definitely worth going, particularly on a Sunday!

My experience in this place was the worst. Well, the staff in front was friendly. The problem was this little dorsum that they had on Thursday, February 29. They didn't check me for my problem, which I had to give them some medication. It was very disgusting. I don't recommend it to anyone. Nobody in this place has very bad attention and another one that has no translation for someone who speaks Spanish very badly. I give it 000000000
