The whole staff at CBH is outstanding! I would however, like to comment specifically on Dr. Annet Lister Perez. She is patient, gentle, intelligent and understanding. I count my blessings for having her as mentor. Her therapy skills are immaculate. My sessions provide me with reassurance that the accurate steps are being made to achieve my goals. Thank you for making a lasting difference in my life!

I would refer and encourage any member of my family or my friends to utilize the different services provided by Community Behavioral Health. Liana has helped overcome psychological challenges. She has guided and supporting me in learning to change my negative behaviors and thought patterns. Miguel and Gabriel have also been amazing in their care and concern for my wellbeing and mental state/health. If you are seeking help I strongly encourage Community Behavioral Health.

My therapist and psychiatrist are the best. They got me in, in a timely manner and I couldn't ask for better care. I feel I have grown so much since going to them and would highly recommend them. The office staff is also very helpful and kind.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five Stars for Community Behavioral Health! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I can't say enough good things about Community Behavioral Health! From the moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and a professional staff that was incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is so relaxing and clean, making it the perfect environment for healing and growth. I had the privilege of working with both Miguel and Liana as my therapists, and they were absolutely amazing. They were always there to lend a helping hand and provide understanding and support throughout my journey. Their guidance and advice went beyond just the therapy sessions, and I truly felt like they cared about my well-being. In the past, I've had experiences where I felt like other therapy providers didn't care as much about my needs. But at Community Behavioral Health, it's a whole different story. The level of care and dedication they show is truly remarkable. If you're looking for a place that genuinely cares about your mental health and well-being, I highly recommend Community Behavioral Health. They go above and beyond to ensure their clients receive the best possible care. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Community Behavioral Health for creating such a fantastic organization. Your dedication and compassion are truly appreciated. Keep up the amazing work! 🌈💙 #CommunityBehavioralHealth #MentalHealthMatters

My therapist, Liana Chambliss, has given me the opportunity to learn more about myself, and has helped me grow in ways I didn’t even realize I could. She has given me the perspective I had been needing my entire life to understand that what I feel, and how I act, is not weird, is not abnormal, and it is not something to be ashamed of or something that needs to change for society. I know more about myself, and how I as a person work because of her. Liana has opened my eyes to myself, and I when I look into myself, I see something beautiful, I see someone caring, and I see someone who is perfectly imperfect. Without Liana, or Community Behavioral Health, I would be scared, feeling emotions I don’t understand. Without Liana, I would not be as close to my mother as I am now, and my mother would not understand me as much as she does now. As a 17 year old, trying to live in this world as I am is so much easier now that I know who I am. And it is all thanks to Liana and Community Behavior Health.

I am a patient that comes to see Dr. Liana. And I have absolutely no complaints. Everyone is so nice, it’s a very friendly atmosphere. I have started seeing her for a few months now, and she is very comforting and understanding. The Psychiatrist , Dr. Miguel is very easy going and super friendly. I’ve enjoyed all my visits and I look forward to Fridays (when I usually have appointments)

My first therapy experience, and the best I could have ever hoped for. I was nervous, but Gabriel Torres was caring, to the point, and thorough with the treatment plan, as you would hope for any psychiatrist. He really cares for wellness, not just concerned with medication only. Liana is the best therapist I could have ever asked for. Kind, compassionate, and emotionally in tune with all of her clients. It is hard to put my experience with her through words, as I could never have summed up how wonderful it is to be her patient. I look toward to my sessions. Even in my worst moments, I have never left her office without hope, or at least without knowing I am cared for deeply.

I do not recommend this place. Their reception makes it very stressful to keep an appointment. They cancelled my appointment the night before even though I confirmed it on line as well as over the phone. They do not realize that it requires consistency with prescription medication that people just can not stop abruptly. All I can say is that they need a better reception system and it has not been a good experience at all!

Working with Liana as my therapist has helped me change in the best way possible. She is a great listener, she is honest with me when needed, she really helps me getting out of my comfort zone but respects my pace, and I like that she truly care about me as a client and as a person.

100% recommended for this clinic. Annette is a wonderful Dr, always worried about my mom, and the therapist Liana is very dedicated, affectionate and since my mother is attending this clinic, I have seen an improvement in her mental health. This clinic is the best in Cape Coral.

I am SO thankful to have found this office! First and foremost they are one of the ones in the area that take my insurance (Compsych) and seem to be the absolute BEST ones that do! I found them through my insurance provider and am SO grateful that I did. I see Miguel as my psychiatry provider, and truly enjoy working with him. He is kind, caring, personal, witty and is such a wonderful provider. He is able to make our meetings very comfortable and make me feel at home (which for someone with anxiety and extreme social anxiety is pretty hard!!). He has taken countless messages from me and taken the time out of his day to speak with me to adjust my medications as needed to help me throughout my treatment and my life changes, which is always needed as things changes and life happens. He handles your care from a full prospect which I LOVE. He initially (after the initial intake appointment) did a full blood work up on me as well as a genetic testing (cheek mouth swab) to test which mental health medications worked correctly and properly for my body and my system/metabolism. I loved that we did that right off the bat so we have that information going forward to make proper treatment decisions going forward. He has always taken what I say into account when it comes to my medication and my treatment, which I can’t appreciate enough. Miguel is wonderful and I truly am lucky to have found him! Then, along came Liana! :D Miguel heavily suggested that I started therapy services to coincide with my medication treatment he is treating me with for my conditions. I completely agreed and he was able to set me up in his office with appointments with his therapist Liana. Liana is a GODSEND! She is everything I have ever needed in a therapist, everything I ever thought I ever needed in a therapist, everything I never knew I needed in a therapist, and SO MUCH MORE! I hope that I am never NOT Liana’s client after becoming her client. She is truly such an incredible therapist and she has been such an amazing part of my healing process so far. She opens my eyes to things I never even thought of, and things I didn’t even realize I should have been thinking about! It is so nice to get a fresh perspective on things, and Liana does NOT disappoint. I honestly can’t even explain how well Liana and I mesh. In each of our sessions I feel so at home. She makes me feel so incredibly comfortable, like I’ve known her for years. She has made me come out of my shell (which usually takes longer than YEARS!) and is always able to make me feel at peace. She helps me feel comfortable enough to be able to spill my heart out to her and she is always able to steer the conversation to exactly where it needs to end up. She is always able to address all of my concerns in each session, while keeping me calm, forever laughing, intrigued throughout the session, constantly learning, continuously growing, and always working toward improving myself in every way possible all while working toward understanding myself more and more every single day. Liana always helps to quell my anxieties, while also helping to give me strength and teach me how to have a strong back bone throughout it all. She makes me feel great about myself and helps me stay on track all while knowing my own worth, and knowing where my next focus should be. I always look forward to every single session I have with Liana and can’t wait for the next one each coming week! (Most times I wish they could be 2 hours sessions, or even 3 hours! The one hour sessions just fly by way too fast with her!!!!) Needless to say, I will be coming to this office for the foreseeable future. I am hoping Liana and Miguel can both be my long term mental health care providers as I love them both to pieces and feel like they are both an incredible fit for me. I feel SO incredibly lucky to have found them, and this office! It’s the absolute BEST! Try them out, as you will absolutely NOT be disappointed at all!

Liana has been with us, consistently, as we've navigated a very delicate and initially daunting journey with our child. She's been so caring, loyal, skilful, perceptive... and in helping him through this, he is now a confident and grounded young man! She has helped our little family unit to finally feel like 'Home'... we're super grateful, thank you Liana!

I moved from put of state and switching all my doctors was not smooth EXCEPT for CBH. It was so smooth it was suspicious lol. I didn't think it was going to pan out. But sure enough they got me in on time and got my past therapist notes and it all went smooth. I appriciate them very much and highly recommend them.

Why is that we aren’t allowed to have a preference when it comes to choosing a psychiatrist?? Unbelievable. Had my first appointment here and will not be planning on setting a second one at all. The psychiatrist I spoke with was Annet Lister Perez. She did not explain thoroughly WHY I was going to be taking the pills she recommended for me. The total was four. I have no idea exactly why I’m supposed to be taking them! She did not describe what the pills would help with, do, or side effects that comes with it. The appointment felt rushed. Overall disappointed. Was a waste of money and 20 -25 minutes. Barely any compassion was shown either. I do not recommend having an appointment with Annet Lister. Just don’t come here. I am surprised seeing the 5 star reviews!

Ms Annette Lister, came highly referred by a good friend. I experienced that Ms Annette is not only exceptional in her profession, but she's also caring and showed personal interest as she treated my dear friend/sister. And now as patient myself she's giving me the same care.

Dr. Gabby took me on as a new patient shortly after my Dad passed away and I was experiencing a lot of major life changes. He is thorough, kind, empathetic and gets to know his patients to provide the best care possible. The CBH team is simply wonderful.

I finally decided to get help for my anxiety/depression so I called community behavioral health, and I am so glad I did I got the most amazing doctor. Yanysel Gonzalez is absolutely awesome! She listened to what I had to say and she didn't make me feel uncomfortable or judged like previous doctors Ive went to have. I highly recommend Yanysel Gonzalez. She's the sweetest and actually listens and helps. Thank you so much for everything! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

Everything is made so easy with either virtual sessions or in person therapy. Friendly staff is always willing to answer my questions or respond to messages that I have on their online patient portal. It’s never hard to get ahold of someone. Plus, my therapist is seriously the best one I have every had! It’s not just “vent sessions” but you learn information and also how to apply it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

After hurricane in the catastrophic once in a century storm that tore a hole in southwest Florida spiritually physically and financially I was actually able to focus with clarity and a renewed zeal after speaking with CBH is very on Gabriel. Thank you so much for your practice your professionalism and your punctuality everyone from the charming, insightful, witty yet kind; medical assistant Laura, to the doctor himself had me feeling loved cared for and most importantly well enough to get back to repairing my community thank you and God bless five out of five

I went to several different facilities to correct the problems I was experiencing. That included several different methods and doctors. Dr. Diana Acosta listened intently to my concerns and within a month had everything sorted out. I have never felt so amazing. She could not be more polite and understanding as well as professional and tuned into my concerns and the issues that were present. I highly recommend Dr. Diana Acosta to anyone who is experiencing any type of mental health issues.

After moving in summer of 2022, I was far away enough from my mental health providers that it was difficult and inconvenient to continue to justify not finding a more local practice. This was a struggle for some time with myself, as I had been seeing them for around 5 years, and they were very good and helpful to me. However, after much deliberation and losing touch with one of them (My own fault. This was the problem for me-keeping track of two separately housed providers.), I registered as a new patient with Community Behavioral Health in December of 2022, after seeing that they had excellent feedback and offered all services I need out of the same practice. This was the best decision I have made last year for my time and my treatment. I have been blessed to see some incredible, crucially helpful counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals over the span of my wellness journey. But it would not be boasting to say that my counselor and psychologist at Community Behavioral Health, Chemenda Sawyer is one of the most helpful, insightful, empathetic, relatable mental health professionals I have seen. I always look forward to her insights, advice, and valuable, effective counsel. Dr. Yanysel Gonzalez Torres is an excellent Psychiatric professional that I am seeing there as well. I genuinely appreciate the fact that she has helpful reasonable medication management recommendations, but does not push a patient onto medication before allowing them to, first, take a non-medicinal approach to a specific issue, if safe and possible. The office administrator is always friendly and helpful. They also accept my insurance (Tricare) and conduct appointments via telemedicine (Zoom), which, in addition to being convenient and widely accessible to those with limited mobility and transporation, is a credit to their own reason and consideration for their patients' and staff's well-being. Community Behavioral Health is a beneficial addition to my mental healthcare support and continues to help me navigate my mental wellness journey. I am thankful for the compassionate work they do for their patients.

Right from the jump I could tell this place was gonna be great when they asked if I was willing to take a genetic test to compare my body chemistry to that of the most common medications!?!? Since that test my issues have been steadily improving bc now I'm on the right medication for me. The staff is friendly and helpful, Dr Gonzalez and Chemeda(therapist) are both amazing to work with, they have an attitude and confidence that uplifted my spirits immediately because they actually care and their immediate concern is you and how you are feeling, and with the genetic testing medication changes are easy and helpful rather than a prescription guessing game. Thank you @ Community behavioral health Care

If you would like to get yourself or your family member consistent and quality mental health services, I will be the first to tell you COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH IS THE NUMBER 1 WORST PSYCHIATRY BUSINESS IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA! My son attempted to be a patient at this poorly run practice. He went through 3 different doctors due to inconsistencies and ended with dr Gonzalez who has consistently not called in his refills for medications and he has run out on occasion. I have had to spend hours of my time on the phone attempting to get in touch with the doctor. I called for 4 days straight and left messages on the voicemail of the person in charge of medications and never had one of my calls returned. I got very lucky one day when i called and pushed the button to be transferred for “appointments” and caught the front desk girl, she actually answered the phone! On that 4th day of my son being out of his medications, i finally got in contact with the doctor and let her know we will no longer be utilizing her poor care and requested that she call in 3 months of refills for my son so i could have time to find him a new, BETTER, more professional and consistent psychiatrist. She agreed, but only called the prescription in for 2 months. Her explanation for the lapse of communication for the 4 days that my son was out of his medication was that it was the “holiday season.” I am so happy Dr Gonzalez and staff were able to enjoy their holidays undisturbed by their responsibilities. My family did not enjoy that same luxury due to the fact that my 15 year old child that suffers from Severe depression, chronic suicidal ideations, anxiety and insomnia was out of his medications that are critical for his mental health. The business is so poorly run that the front desk does not communicate with the doctors and thus your phone calls are a literal waste of time and breath. Again, if you want help for yourself or your family member, I strongly recommend you find somewhere else, basically ANYWHERE else to go. They DO NOT care about the patients and what is in their best interests. This is coming from the mother of a 15 year old boy that was a patient in this very poorly run operation.

Irresponsible and unreasonable. Julie from billing is being unreasonable because I received care from one of their Nurse practitioners who ordered lab works and now Quest Labs says I owe $750! There was an issue with my insurance because Community Behavioral Heath, LLC charged me to do the FMLA documentation but there was something wrong with the paperwork, but after correcting this and calling back requesting for them to run again the labs bill Julie went full ignorant mode and did not want to help me. They need to let the customer know about lab works costing $750 (+) before ordering them... These people are irresponsible! Then I get screened TWICE for rapid eye movement treatment with a referral of theirs and they try to bill me for two sessions. I got nothing done and they just want to suck on my money... I paid for one session btw, but get me once shame on you, but you won't get me twice. Instead, I was nice to pay the initial screening but at the end I cannot use the treatment because can't remember the trauma and would need first a hypno-therapist. She waited to the second visit to tell me when she could have told me on our initial Internet chat... Excellent healers, but terrible billing!!! I will have to report them since they are unreasonable and have this woman Julie just plain rude

The therapist and psychiatrist are great. Unfortunately, the offices are a mess. They cannot get their billing, appointments or other information correct. My anxiety disorder is worse. I don't speak it fluently so why is half my voicemail in Spanish. I do not recommend CBH. Hopefully the therapists and doctors will go private.
