Literally the greatest meal & service we’ve ever had. I’ve never seen my husband finish a whole meal & order another to take home for later. The steak melted in our mouths (my husband is not a steak eater and he ate the whole steak). So flavorful, juicy, tender and absolutely mouth watering. For apps, we got calamari & crab cakes. The calamari is not your typical fried calamari. It was the most flavorful, sweet & sour calamari I’ve ever had. Astonishing!!! The Lobster Mac & Cheese was one for the records. The amount of lobster they add to the Mac & Cheese blew my mind! They aren’t cheap about anything!!! It was LOADED with Lobster!!! The cheese was flavorful, tasty and the most incredible flavor ever. Noodles were cooked to perfection. Honestly, there wasn’t one thing we had that we couldn’t say “MMMMMMMMMMM” to!! It was a total package experience. Our waiter was on top of everything, so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean, staff were all friendly and accommodating. The gentlemen, who took us to our seats was the sweetest man and complimentary to both my husband and I. Ambiance was romantic and comforting. We literally ate everything!!!! No crumbs!!! The only thing I’d say this place needs is an “Itis Lounge” because after dinner, you will NEED A NAP!!! Highly recommend! Definitely be prepared to spend $$$ and tip well! They deserve it!

A staggering, baffling disappointment. Ruth's Chris is clearly resting upon their laurels, relying on their name and reputation to justify Applebee's tier food and service peddled at Michelin starred prices. The food was mediocre to the point of insult. The interior was drab and fading. Waiters were rushed, disorganized, and confused. The gentleman delivering our appetizers arrived and stood silent and motionless beside our table, staring at me, until my partner indicated who ordered what. The gentleman bringing our mains arrived without a tray stand, and resorted to hand delivering the 200 degree plates while laughing about the situation (why are they so hot, are the steaks cooked on the serving plates?). Our waiter, bringing our desserts, placed them upon a shelf near our table and then walked away, returning 10 minutes later gushing apologies for forgetting to bring our plates the final three feet to our table. As far as the food is concerned, I have attached a photo of a 60 dollar plate. I think the unseasoned and overcooked steak, cheap, food-splattered plates, and mushy uninspired sides speak for themselves. Not only was the food poorly prepared, its constituent ingredients were subpar. I must emphasize that I have had better cuts of meat at chain steakhouses for a third of the price. This is a restaurant for the amateur diner; for someone who has neither money nor taste but wants their date to think otherwise. If this smug satisfaction after being robbed is what you're after- Ruth will gladly take your money. If you're after a good steak look anywhere else.

It was my first time here. Absolutely loved it. I did not like my lobster tail as it was overcooked. However, do you wait? Just went ahead and made me a brand new one with no issues. It was perfectly cooked the second time. Friendly professional. Great customer service. Would go back there again in a heartbeat. Everything was top notch.

First time and definitely not the last. Service was excellent our waiter Frank was great. Made it special for my wife as we were having dinner for her birthday. The steak was cooked to perfection. The sides were amazing. The creamed spinach, sweet potato casserole and mash potatoes were great.

Like always the food and service is great. But the highlight was the silky lobster Mac and cheese and the cheesecake. They need to start delivering just the cheesecake!!!! It's one of the best cheesecakes we ever had.

Wow, I wish to thank the chief! You prepared a beautiful meal for my party of 2. My lemon drop martini was strong and sweet. The server was atrocious. He likes to gossip about his tables at the bar service counter. The bar echoes and we heard everything. If you could call him a server more like a beverage server. The team did pick up the slack.

This Ruth Chris I would recommend. Just don't order the calamari as an appetizer because, well...they're out. And have been for months (chain wide shortage.) And the lobster tail? Yeah, that's a hard pass (also out chain wide because of a national shortage). Otherwise, the cowboy steak my friend ordered "Pittsburgh style/black and blue" came out perfect. I ordered the dinner special for $59 (main course with a side, dessert and starter). Got the lobster bisque, petite filet and bread pudding, which was awesome. Definitely would come back!

My husband and I went on 12/20/2021 for the first time to celebrate his birthday. It was all delicious. The greeting at the door was kind and welcoming. They sat us down at our reservation time. The server was also a pleasure. She was respectful, attentive, kind,and helpful. The food was cooked to our liking and seasoned amazingly.

Food was delish. We had a mini lecture there for veterinarians. These steaks were the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommended

My husband and I had an amazing time at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse. The steak was one the one the best steak, I had in a long time , well seasoned and juicy whereas the Mac and cheese could have used a bit of seasoning, too bland for my taste. Our server Alfredo was great, he took the time to explain the menu in great details and we were not rushed another plus my husband got a desert on the house as we were celebrating his birthday which I thought was very lovely Overall Service and food were great I would definitely recommend Ruth’s Chris steakhouse to anyone who is looking for a great dinning experience on special occasions

A satisfactory dining experience, ordered the time limited 3-course dinner with great flavors all around. Bar area are sometimes noisy with servers knocking plates and stuffs together, but the food can't be denied that are absolutely worth the price tag. A great place to come by on long road trips!

I have been visiting Ruth's Chris for many years and it never disappoints. My favorite is Happy Hour in the bar. The atmosphere is so inviting and the food amazing. But the best part is Matt M...he takes such good care of us each and every time!

Don and Jenny went out of their way to provide a wonderful experience for my mom's 60th birthday. The steaks were perfectly cooked, sides were tasty, and prix fixe deal was honestly not bad at all. Ruth's could stand to update its lobster bisque to be a stand-out rather than a bore, but that's a chain-wide issue. These guys made a memorable night and I very much appreciate it!

We had a party in a private room with about 34 people and the service we received by Cezar, Mandi & Santiago was incredible ! Very attentive and accommodating with the allergies some of the guests had ! We have no complaints from booking the evening with Catherine to Packing our leftovers with Santiago! Cezar even came in to sing an opera version of happy birthday WE LOVED IT ! My dads 70’s perfect was a perfect surprise. The food was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Huge Thank you to the Ruth Chris in Tarrytown. The hostess even took our group picture outside before we left :)

I had dinner with a friend and the waiters name was Chris A. Everything was excellent ! The food, atmosphere, the specialty drinks and the waiter Chris really made the night special. He was very attentive and had such a nice outgoing personality. We really appreciated being taken care of by him. We will be back👍

I celebrated my birthday dinner here. Despite mentioning it was my special day, the acknowledgment from the waitress was dry, with no complimentary treats. The atmosphere felt more like a boardroom than a celebration spot, with mundane music and a business-like vibe. However, I still enjoyed the company of my family, which made the evening memorable despite the restaurant's shortcomings.

Matt M was absolutely phenomenal and professional. Made our experience great and had great attention to detail. The food was amazing, but Matt seriously is the reason for me to come back to this location. I highly recommend the ribeye and bread pudding.

Can’t express enough how wonderful Matt M. and the rest of the staff are. Every time we walk in here we are greeted by huge smiles and VIP service. Matt always has the best advice on what to order and is so knowledgeable about the wines and can recommend anything new that comes in we may like. We come back for the service even more than the food!

This place is amazing! From hostess to wait staff - very warm and welcoming! We were there yesterday for a very small birthday and well taken care of. Our server FRANK - is an absolute delight- we felt very comfortable by his attentiveness and friendliness. He went above and beyond all expectations. The other servers were also on their “A game” never had to look for a server for refills or clearing the table. The food- delicious, well seasoned, and melts in your mouth are all poor adjectives to describe the sheer pleasure of dining! Highly recommend this location.

A1!!! The Cowboy Ribeye w/ the truffle crust was out of this world.Also do yourself a favor and order the sweet potato casserole. A special s/o to Jayson who took care of us. Give that man a raise!

Long time patrons of this location, we simply won’t dine elsewhere! Staff is always kind and attentive, lead by GM Dan who is always accommodating and in best spirits. Experienced bartenders with great humor and conversation. Olivia, the hostess, cheerfully greets every guest who enters and does not spare any compliments. From entrance to exit, we are pleasantly pleased. A true delight!!!

I went in in Fathers day for the first time with my family and had a phenomenal time! The NY Strip was amazing and seeing it on that sizzling plate made my mouth water! Diego was very accommodating and made it a memorable experience. We will definitely come again.

I celebrated my birthday here and I have to say this place was very inviting. When we walked in, they were expecting us our table was set. I believe a reservation is needed. The food was ok it wasn't what I thought. I had high expectations regarding the food. I thought my steak would have been bigger, my Lobster Tail was good and sweet. I really didn't need any sauce. My cream spinach was good and my lobster bisque was really good. It was my steak which wasn't cooked the way I asked for it. I asked for medium well, and they made it well done . My steak was simi dry, and it was small. So my expectations were high, but after my experience, I was like ohh ok, this was ok, nothing like the raves that my children had regarding it. I wouldn't come back, but I did enjoy the experience. Our waitress Amanda was amazing. The gentleman that cleaned our table off was really nice and focused.

Our server Diego was phenomenal, it was my personal first time to Ruth’s Chris and I will absolutely be returning.

Visited 2023-03-10 with Diego as our server. Exceptional service. Diego went above and beyond explaining and recommending dishes. Classic steakhouse food and presentation. Go hungry.

Amazing food and great service. Everything was so flavorful and well prepared. Highly recommend the seared tuna and make sure you take advantage of the complimentary bread.
