I
was
on
the
way
back
to
our
AIRBNB
for
that
day
and
saw
this
Pub,
fascinated
by
the
name,
took
a
U-turn
and
stopped
here
for
a
drink.
Upon
entering,
diners
are
greeted
with
large
portraits
of
the
real
Bonnie
and
Clyde
on
the
doors,
setting
the
theme
for
a
bank-robber-themed
restaurant.
Everything
is
put
together
to
take
you
back
to
the
'30s.
The
first
things
you
see
are
the
high-backed
wooden
stools
around
the
bar
and
the
light
glistening
off
the
pressed-metal
tile
ceiling.
I
thought
it
was
Saturday,
memorial
day
weekend
but
the
pub
was
not
that
crowded
(no
rush,
nothing).
I
saw
what
looks
like
the
old
bank's
safe,
server
informed
me
it
was
a
freezer
for
the
restaurant.
The
building
was
constructed
in
1925
and
was
used
as
a
bank
for
many
years,
so
Owners
picked
bank
robbers
for
the
theme.
Each
booth
and
table
is
named
after
a
gangster
or
bank
robber
-
Al
Capone,
Baby
Face
Nelson,
John
Dillinger,
and
Machine
Gun
Kelly.
A
framed
biography
hangs
on
the
wall
near
each
table.
This
pub
also
has
36
beers
on
tap
and
60
other
varieties
in
bottles
including
craft
beers,
I
had
one
of
those
(house
special
beer),
spend
some
lovely
time,
and
left
for
the
Airbnb.
