THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! If you want fresh food this place has it! There vegetables were unlike any other buffets. They were fresh. The vegetables weren’t over ripe. You could actually taste the vegetables! The waiter and cashier were very nice! The biscuits they serve are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! You could tell they were homemade. Honestly you could tell all the food was homemade! And the food they serve at the buffet don’t make you feel over stuffed when you left. So if you want a buffet that doesn’t over stuff you and has fresh food. Just go too Old Time Country Buffet! I really recommend it! πŸ‘

Food and service was good but we were charged for water. We were traveling and have traveled all around the world, never been charged for water before. This is definitely a first. For this fact we didn't return before the end of our trip to this establishment. Things like this makes you loose customers. There is always somewhere else to go with good food. Although the food was good, the desserts choices were not. There was no peach cobbler in the peach state but there was a pineapple cobbler. Don't know how it taste because I was ready for peach cobbler so I had to go elsewhere to get it.

Best country soul food buffet ever!!! The food is prepared in true southern fashion and seasoned to perfection! The selections are varied and many. The food is super fresh with flavors that pop and melt in your mouth. The best thing about this place, besides it being clean...the price! Unbelievably low for the quality of food, and the service is great! Southern hospitality at its finest! I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in Savannah. Thank you guys for a wonderful culinary experience! Five stars all day!!!

Food was pretty good I love that it was a soul food buffet at a great price. Our waitress was really nice. It was a bit crowded for my taste and maybe because it was Father’s Day. Overall it was cool, different and I would say go check it out for yourself if you love soul food.

Great customer service. Very nice cashier. It was hot fresh and delicious!! Glad we chose this over fast food. Took a plate to a relative at Hospital with her sick daughter & she could not stop thanking us for a home cooked meal! Thanks to Ole Times for helping our family eat one hot meal at a time during this difficult time.

The food was great with an exception for the cabbage which had way too much garlic. Some of the fried chicken had way too much salt but other items were great. The mac & cheese is fantastic. It was crowded though so they need a larger locale. One section was devoted to a party but wasn't marked closed for the party. Soft serve machine was down.

Large selection of a variety of food, salads, dessert. Fried chicken is delicious. Other meat, fish, spaghetti & etc is also excellent. Price is reasonable & they keep the food coming. Delicious dessert and & plenty of choices. Ladies working in there keep your tables clean & always checking to be sure if you need anything. Great value and will continue to go & recommend to anyone who likes a variety of food.

I've never seen so much food at a buffet in my life! And I am the " greens queen* I even liked thiers. No sugar or vinegar!!!! I live in ohio, and we don't have things here like that. ( Which is good for my waist!🀣) The food was pretty tasty, the service was good, very nice people work there. But for it to be down south I was really shocked because the peach cobbler was not good at all! 😞 Good other than that though. And the price was good as well. Get the Arnold Palmer the sweet tea and lemonade πŸ‹... delicious!! if I'm ever in the area I will definitely stop in again!

$6.99/lb for takeout. A lot of southern food options, so be careful how you load your boxes. They can get heavy. We each used 2 boxes, so we probably took it a little too far. I feel like I don't eat much at a buffet and I always want all the vegetables and a few meats. Steak every night, so we will definitely go back at night soon.

Was staying at the motel beside so thats how i found it. Lots of options and everything I had was delicious I really liked the catfish. It has a lively atmosphere and even though they were closing in 1h all the food options were still available. I took a take out plate and that was the only issue, the lady at the entrance was just staring at me not saying anything i had to ask her if i put it on the scale myself.. then i paid and she still didnt say a word so i awkwardly put it in the bag myself not knowing what to do since i never been there.

What a pleasant surprise! I don't live in the area but had this place recommended to me by a company employee that does. A HUGE buffet (including dessert) with far too many delicious choices. The fried clams were far too good! When I am in the area again I will repeat this reasonably priced feast!

Great experience each visit. We meet family there because Kingston is half way from our homes. Ole Time is our favorite place to meet. Great atmosphere service and varied selections. Never rushed but always make a reservation. We have never been disappointed.

I wish I had gotten her name, but the server was really great very attentive. They could do a little better with cleaning. Although they do have a good variety of food everything was not so great. The chicken was nice, hot, and good. The cabbage was ok to me I would eat it again. The macaroni could definitely use some tweaking. The catfish I didnt get a chance to try. The fruits of course were canned fruit. The desserts suck. The string beans were also up there with the fried chicken. Last for not least the the gravy for the mashed potatoes had a weird taste. With that being said I still would recommend because you can not beat the price and majority of the food was good. The manager on the other hand when it comes to tips y'all need to get that situated. How th can you not buy something to get cash back for the tip or write the tip down on the receipt. Everybody don't carry cash. Golden Carrol would have never.

Great buffet with a nice variety of Southern Comfort foods. Friendly waitress that kept our table uncluttered and sweet tea glass full.

Wow! What a wonderful place! I came to Savannah for 5 days and only on day 4 I discovered this wonderful eatery next to my hotel. I highly recommend it! I am originally from Russia but have lived in New York City for 19 years. I am familiar with soul food but I actually wanted to experience soul food in the South. Ole Time's Country Buffet definitely met my expectations. The variety of food is very extensive and everything tastes sooooo good! The selection of deserts was amazing. Also, the prices are VERY PLEASANT!!! You can get so much for your money. Thank you for this great experience 😍

Do not waste your time. It's a knock off golden coral with people that don't know how to cook. The gravy tasted like paste.. there was a hair on one of the rolls and all our waitress said was "oops"

I like this place but they need to go lite on the salt and not fry their fried food so hard. I do hope they will consider putting, spinach, beets or spring mix on their salad bar! Iceberg lettuce has no nutrients. I also don't feel they should charge for water...come on now! πŸ€” The staff is nice which helps!

Great food. Delicious! Here, variety is the spice of life and loosening of the belt. Lots of well cooked and seasoned food. Greens and beans and things. Fried and baked chicken, pork, beef ribs, fish and shrimp and more. Very large establishment. Private banquet rooms. So many desserts: banana pudding, cobblers, pies, icecream and more. I ate so well that I forgot to take pictures.πŸ‡πŸπŸ“πŸ₯¦πŸ—πŸ₯©πŸ•πŸ₯—πŸͺπŸŽ‚πŸ°πŸ₯§

So many options to choose from! Very fresh food and quite tasty! Only small issue is when I walked in and no one in line the cashier was too busy joking around with co workers very loudly as I just stood there while she carried on until finally looking at me and asking "are you eating in" no Hi, Hello or How are you today". Wouldn't have bothered me as much had I not stood there without any acknowledgement whatsoever. My server was great so that helped.

Being from Indiana, buffets are a thing of the past, so finding so many options in Savannah was thrilling. We picked this place because it reminded us of Old Country Buffet. For $16/person including a drink, the value was outstanding. As a bean and veggie lover, I was in heaven. The cabbage, lima beans, tomato/okra stew and fried ribs were definitely my fav. Im not a sweet eater but there was an ice cream machine and lots of other dessert options. The service was impeccable...everyone was kind and attentive.

If you want to spend money and be hungry when you leave this is the place. It took about an hour and half before fresh chicken was added to the bar. It is not a constant replenishment. One lady came in and got a to go plate full of chicken and she must be special because amazingly wings popped up on the bar so I think it is fair to assume they had been holding them for her. This place used to be a reasonable quick place to eat after or before appointments. The only thing I can say is the waitresses keep the drinks coming after all you want be thirsty when you leave.

I came right after graduation at Savannah State with my daughter who had just graduated to meet up with her Bff and her family. I’m from Louisiana and had never heard of this place. I loved it! Everything I tried was amazing! Seasoned well, not dry like most buffets I’ve had like it’s been sitting under lamps all day. Perfect place to celebrate and everyone very friendly. I’m just upset because I’m just discovering this gem. And oh, did I mention the desserts? Best peach cobbler I’ve had in Georgia! Sorry! No photo’s of the food because it didn’t last long on my plate.

This was my 1st visit since Covid. I did a carry-out. When you enter they have gloves for you to fix your take out trays. The food was even more delicious than I remembered it to be. Everything was good.
