I
was
LIED
to,
OVER
CHARGED,
and
DISRESPECTED
in
a
shocking
experience
with
Legacy
Animal
Hospital.
I’ve
been
bringing
my
3
dogs
there
for
2
years.
I
called
to
make
an
appointment
for
a
simple
anal
gland
expression
for
one
of
my
dogs.
After
making
the
appointment,
I
called
back
within
minutes
to
make
sure
that
it
was
just
a
gland
expression
and
no
vet
visit
AND
(primarily)
to
see
the
cost.
The
lady
told
me
that
it
was
just
the
expression
and
would
be
$35.
I
took
my
dog,
got
the
expression,
and
the
vet
popped
his
head
in
for
literally
1
minute
and
said
that
if
my
dog
consistently
needs
glands
expressed
that
I
would
THEN
need
to
bring
her
in
for
a
visit
to
check
for
allergies
etc.
I
thought
this
was
just
being
courteous
as
no
additional
questions
were
asked,
no
temps
taken,
nothing
to
indicate
a
Drs
appointment.
I
go
to
leave
and
they
charged
me
almost
$100.
I
asked
why,
and
the
lady
said
it
was
the
wellness
check
with
the
vet.
I
explained
that
I
pointedly
said
that
I
did
not
want
a
vet
visit.
The
lady
that
I
originally
spoke
with
that
quoted
me
the
$35
VERIFIED
that
the
conversation
happened
just
as
I
said—no
vet,
$35,
expression
only.
Even
after
they
verified
the
conversation
and
knew
that
I
had
requested
just
a
$35
expression,
they
charged
me
the
inflated
price.
Too
bad,
so
sad.
I
will
never
trust
them
at
their
word/quote
again
nor
with
the
care
of
my
animals.
It’s
absolutely
ridiculous
that
they
wouldn’t
honor
what
they
told
me
or
what
was
done.
