WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. This place is not what it looks like in the pictures. It is in fact so subpar that my girlfriend and I chose to leave before completing our full stay. One of this hotel's main attractions, the pool, is closed. Our check in process after my 6 hour drive took me approximately 20-25 minutes, an absolutely ludicrous amount of time. But this was just the beginning, then we got to the room. We got a single king bed room, and fitting to the rest of the facility it was not the nicest, but fine. Despite the 4 pillows on the KING size bed being the size and feeling of cheap throw pillows. Following that we were kept up the entire night between our neighbor who was coughing so hard it sounded like he should be hospitalized (for credentials, I am a medical student). I have not seen what this individual looked like but based on what he sounded like he would not set one foot in my establishment. In addition we heard a man making phone calls at all hours of the night (3am, 4am, 5am) and the walls are so thin that this will wake you up as well. After our sleepless night of unfortunate events I ventured down to the front desk to follow up with the manager, after all, maybe we just got the worst side of things. Well, there is no manager on duty, the receptionist got one on the phone but did not allow me to speak to him. The only resolution I have been offered at this time is to checkout early which we are taking full advantage of. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. After this experience they are willing to do nothing to make it right after charging more than the subpar facilities are worth anyway.

Through one a one weeks stay here at this hotel in Las Vegas we encountered. 1. A family of skunks apparently were staying in the rooms around us 2. The pool was closed all week due to safety code violations. 3. The room keys constantly had to be changed daily because they would stop working every night after we got back to the rooms 4. They wouldn’t allow us in our rooms on Tuesday due to “water maintenance “ 5. A couple days after. the water completely shut off and none of us were made aware by staff when we got back in for the night. 6.the elevator broke mid week and it has not been fixed since . 7. Staff did not mention to us that we had to request a room cleaning and we had to go down to to the desk and ask why our trash had not been cleaned out and our bed sheets were not made/washed. Overall it was not a great hotel experience and it almost caused us to switch hotels.

This hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The bed was bowed in the middle, which lead to an uncomfortable night of sleep. Perhaps a different room, with a different bed would have made a difference. I asked for another blanket and was provided one promptly, however, it smelled old and stale as if it hadn't been washed in years. The pool and jacuzzi are nice and the temperature was perfect. It was even better that they were indoors as you can still swim in the winter and the hours were not limited. The jacuzzi rail was broken and wobbly. It was being held up by a block of wood. After repeated use the wood slipped which led to my son falling into the jacuzzi sideways. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt. They served breakfast in the morning which is always a perk with kids and was appreciated. It included waffles, yogurt, cereal and bagels. Breakfast was served from 6am until 9am.

The front desk clerk Mona was unprofessional and her customer service leaves much to be desired. The Manager Lena Glace is equally as bad. Due to their incompetence, I was forced to wait at a truck stop until well after midnight until I could check in. This was after a long day of traveling. Also, I saw them let a man use someone else's credit card to pay for a room. This is important because the card used to pay for my room was hacked and an extra $450 was charged to it and it had to be canceled. Mgmt said their main email (a Gmail acct) had been hacked. The food was less than acceptable and they didn't have enough breakfast for all guests. If I could have given them negative 5 stars I would have! Don't stay here...its not worth the trouble.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very unprofessional staff. We tried checking in on Saturday evening just to find out apparently I was already checked in but how could I if I was barely arriving? Come to find out that one of the managers checked in someone under my name and gave them my original room. Then authorizing my card multiple times to the point they had over drafted my account. Talked to manager just for him to say "it was just a simple error" yes a simple error that shouldn't have been made in the first place. They had the carpets cleaned and left my room wide opened of course no one was in there. So anyone could have easily walked in as we were out. Stayed there 4 days no house keeping bothered to even clean our room. Says it's a smoke free hotel the hallway constantly smelled like smoke. You can't trust anyone. If you can avoid this hotel do so

Everything was great! I tend to be a little more critical as I am a GM for a group of hotels in another state. The grout around the tub needs some attention from maintenance. And, if there is a Housekeeping inspector or manager, she/ he needs to pay a little more attention to the details. Other than the above, the room was immaculate. Beds and pillows comfy. Staff was great and very helpful.

This place is a joke. Booked a room 2 days in advanced. They charged my card. They waited until I got to the hotel to tell me my reservation was cancelled. They didn't give me all my money back. The assistant manager looking like a drag queen with her fake eyelashes wouldn't give me a manager. They were quick to take all my money but not give me all what I paid. I will never come here again. Hotel smells like trash anyway.

The experience has altered our opinion of the Wyndham brand. While it's true that hotels, business and partygoing often appear together, there are limits. Management may holler "FYI, Not my fault!" Well a noisy AC unit might be. And what about a stiflingly hot ambient temperature that resists being changed, along with lingering odors that whisper to your senses "Old hotel?" There are good things but the same can be seen in much cheaper hotels. Kudos though for the desk and executive swivel chair-- a welcome sight for any writer. But then there's the $100 refundable deposit due on signing no matter the payment method. Ugh. This tied up close to $300 for a one-night stay. And the room? Just say it didn't look like the photos. .

The room was clean and decent. The pool will not be working for the season. I wish I would had known. They were helpful with early check in.

Rooms seem nice, at first, but the group I was with had many problems. First, the pool was closed, and we were not notified by the staff a head of time. It was closed before we arrived. Second, everyone had to leave their rooms from 9am to 3pm because of water maintenance. Third, the water closed down for unknown reasons a day after the water maintenance. Finally, the room keys kept malfunctioning, and we had to get the keys re-carded several times. This was for a week. Highly recommend anywhere else.

Thiz hotel is close to our family so it is very convenient. It is clean, quiet, and has a great breakfast. We felt safe and secure. My mother-in-law was in a handicapped room and she said it was very comfortable and easy for her.

The pictures make the hotel and guestroom look more updated and nicer than they are. There was a slight odor in the room. The bathtub sounded like it was going to crack open and fall apart any moment. The breakfast was ok. Not a lot of options. Check in and check out went smoothly and the employees were friendly.

This place is old. In need of a total remodeling. The rugs were once gray but are now black from so many stains. Would not recommend walking around with out shoes on.

We booked hawthorn suites for a night stay at vegas and we checked in very late directly from airport. My worst hotel experience ever after coming to US.. The suit given to us smelled cigar..literally puked 🤢..the smell wasnot any where near to bearable.. there were signs everywhere thats it non smoking rooms.. We werent sure, why the room is like that and how come the room service never inspected that room before checking in., When we asked for a another room, they said the hotel was completely booked out.. we had to stay at that place with 2 small kids that night..never ever going to book hawthorn or whyndham ever again. The carpet is way bad, wet at many spots.. Shower head was rusted clogged and too old Wash sinks are clogging water.. Over all it was a worst experience for us.. The room service were atleast kind and respectful to note though..

I have to give this place 5 Stars for awesome rooms and a good breakfast as expected. The area has a few convenient stores and gas stations with a stores inside that are open late hours. The location is 24 minutes from the Strip. It's actually a safe area. Some homeless people scattered around, but that's how all of Nevada is and you just get used to seeing the struggle. I sleep well, no issues, front desk were fine, nothing exceptional to report. Breakfast served every morning. As expected. Good value if you don't mind being off the crowded grid.

Had a Fun Time here, nice restful sleep. Hotel staff served breakfast 600-930 was a decent breakfast. Is assorted, wa⁸ffles, bagels, eggs, bacon, cereal, coffee tea juice yogurt etc. Hotel was clean, felt safe, even though Hotel in little rough areas, it did feel safe , comfortable there. Me, my children enjoyed the long stay & the Hotel staff serves nice decent variety dinner on Wednesday evenings, items as well. There is a mini Mart (GVG) in same parking lot so that came in handy. Parking lot easy to get to room & unload or load up. Not a big hotel so that makes getting around earlier.

Pictures online make this look WAY nicer than it is. Pool area out of order, smelled like weed on my floor and into areas of my room (have to sign in several spots on check in that there's no smoking in the hotel, but I guess it's not enforced well). TV small for a room these days. Carpet in the hall and room looked very dirty. Cracked tiles in bathroom, sink stopper stuck so it didn't drain well.... Bed so/so. Desk chair cheap and unstable. Breakfast was nothing special, but looking at other reviews after the fact, I guess I should be happy there was at least something out...? Staff isn't overly friendly at the desk - clearly just doing a job.

STAY AWAY. Dirty, loud, incredibly rude staff. Nonworking gym, pool. Don't be fooled by amenities because they are unusable. Keycards don't work. Questionable clientele. Questionable charges. Bad part of town. I could list all the details but there isn't enough character space. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. We checked out early and did just that! I travel a lot for work and have stayed in some pretty bad places but this one takes the cake.

When checking in Mona greeted me. She was very nice and helpful. After a long day of travel she made the check in process simple. Entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds could be replaced. Free dinner and breakfast were offered. Over all I would recommend this hotel.

This place doesn't honor whyndam reservations. They act like they can't find the reservation so they can charge you more. I called whyndam while I was checking in, and they confirmed my reservation to the desk clerk. After talking to multiple staff members and the manager, they still overcharged me. I had almost $500 of pending charges the next morning on a $83 room. The place is in poor condition and smells terrible throughout the whole facility. There are plenty of good places to stay around the area, so avoid this one.

This is located on Boulder Hwy in Henderson. It was close to where we had to go the following day. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor, no elevator, that was unfortunate. They had a small breakfast buffet in the morning. It wasn't fine dining, but it was good enough. So, it was a fine, inexpensive place to stay. Far from the airport, so the taxi ride was expensive, and there are no shuttles to or from.

If you are doing anything and the southeastern portion of the valley, this is probably a really good location. It is a dog friendly hotel. That means there were lots of dogs. Only one on my floor that was yappy all the time. Luckily I was not next to that room. The floors have not been shampooed for a long time. They didn't look bad, but they were kind of stiff and then climbing into the bathtub. I left black footprints all over after having my shoes off walking around the room for a little bit.

We booked here after having to come back for the rescheduled Ed Sheeran concert and the place we stayed last time was booked. The photos on the website when we booked looked great, and the price was good. However, the actual state of the property is horrible. Our room had brown stuff dripping down the walls, signs of violence (someone had punched the freezer door, and there were stab marks all over the bathroom door). The curtains and walls were all stained, the a/c unit held together by electrical tape, no shower curtain and water damage in the bathroom. I am attaching photos. There were also dogs barking early in the morning, and we could hear every step our upstairs neighbor took as they packed up at 5:00 in the morning. I do not feel the quality was worth the $233 we paid. I’m hopeful they are able to make some improvements.

We were looking for a last min place to stay without breaking the bank. It was very clean. I was surprised how big the room was. Plenty of room for my husband and support animal. Breakfast was hot and yummy. Waffles, sausage and egg. Hallways were a little smelly-but that’s expected in a place with carpet. However-there was someone on our checkout day who was using a machine to deep clean the carpets. Overall-good day. Comfy bed and pillows. Will return if we’re back that way.

I have given appropriate stars in my mind taking price into consideration. The price is right for what you get. Could have been a little cleaner in the halls, maybe some daily vacuuming would be good but it wasn't horribly dirty. Could use a bit of overhaul as in carpeting and so on. Breakfast was good with lots of options and even offer a free dinner on Wednesday night. I was very happy with continental breakfast! Late afternoon front desk lady was not the friendliest. I don't think she really likes her job much, but all other employees were friendly and helpful. I will go back to this place again.

Beware of the staff at this place. We tried to check in at 4:08pm, a full hour after check in and were told that they were short staffed so go get dinner and maybe room will be ready in another hour (MAYBE). No apology , I asked for a discount, crickets. I asked for manager and said check in is 3pm and it's after 4pm and now looking like after 5pm. She said 3pm check in is when it starts so go get dinner. She also said if you don't like that then we can cancel the reservation. I was also told by the female desk clerk that they are both females and we feel threatened by you, lol. I'm old and wasn't yelling or pounding on desk, this was the clerks go to words for people who didn't accept the baloney from her. So I left and had my wife finish with the cancelation and guess what, yep the clerk told my wife that she feels threatened by her. BEWARE, BEWARE

Check in and out was a breeze. Melissa was very helpful. However, the elevator didn’t work 4 of the 6 days we were there . Our room had a strong odor when you walked in. On the first night we were there, our towels and trash was taken care of. Afterwards, no one came in to clean our room, take out the trash or replenish our supplies like toilet paper. When we asked the front desk, our usual answer was “Oh, it must be the new girl.” Carpet in the stairwell is very dirty. Breakfast was decent, The breakfast sitting area is small and crowded. We just like the location of this hotel. But, we suggest some major updates.

The “heated indoor pool” that is advertised is far too frigid to swim in- even for the kids! This was super disappointing as the pool was the main reason for choosing this hotel. All other aspects of the hotel and service were pleasing.

Very outdated. Bathroom had calking falling off with mold. Elevators out of order. Ice machines broke on 2 of the three floors. Rooms dirty, the phone was so filthy I wouldn’t even use it. Furniture unclean and scratched everywhere. Wish I would have seen previous negative reviews before booking.

Review Let me say that the front desk personnel were fine. The room was decent. It was clean and comfortable. That is all one can ask for when staying in a non-luxury hotel in a not so nice area. My problem is with the hotel policy of requiring locals to pay a CASH $100 deposit. My sister and nephew were visiting and wanted to stay close by. We found this place about 4 miles away. When checking in, they placed a hold on my credit card and required a $100 deposit. When checking out, they had to have someone check the room before returning my deposit. I don’t care what kind of problems they have had in the past, they need to find a better way of dealing with it. I have stayed in many hotels in Las Vegas including luxury hotels on the strip and have never had to pay a cash deposit as a local customer. THIS IS BORDERING ON DISCRIMINATION. Wyndham needs to stop this policy IMMEDIATELY.

The staff was absolutely delightful. Let us check in early. Loved that there was a kitchenette in our room. However, the carpets in our room (and everywhere) were absolutely filthy! Couldn’t walk around in stocking feet without my socks turning black. Also, the drawers in our room never stayed shut! Had to push our suitcases against them to keep them shut. Lastly, there was a tub for garbage that sat in the middle of the hallway to our room the entire three days we stayed. Never emptied. Gross. I just expected a lot cleaner and better maintained…. especially for a Wyndham. My next trip to Henderson in a few months will not include staying here.

The Hawthorn Suits is a good place to stay. It’s wheelchair accessible. It has a hot tub and a swimming pool that’s open 24hrs. The hotel is non smoking, however there is a smoking area. This hotel is in a great area but once in a while some local homeless man comes to take cigarette butts from the ash tray and I might ask you if you found his phone. (Skinny white guy) clearly on drugs. Anyways did a complimentary breakfast from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. And a complimentary dinner on Wednesdays at 5PM. The rooms is nice. Bathroom is a little small. The room comes with a microwave mini fridge and coffee pot. I recommend this hotel. @iamajsupernova #iamajsupernova

Unfortunately, the worst “3-star” hotel I’ve stayed at. The prices were much higher than what was advertised on Google. The water facet in the shower was dripping all night. The shower floor was extremely creaky. The drain plug in the sink didn’t work. The microwave was not plugged in the socket and given the location of the dresser, I was unable to plug it in. The TV didn’t work, likely for the same reason. The card keys were the worst of any hotel I’ve stayed at, sometimes needing to try them 10 times before they worked. The fitness center was only a treadmill, 2 stationary bikes and 10 lb weights (no other weights or benches) in a room the size of basically a closet. The elevator was also very creaky, unstable and felt like it was made in the 80s with no maintenance since. Although the breakfast was alright for this type of service, the breakfast area was very confined and claustrophobic. This is particularly disappointing because there are other nearby hotels that are apt and similarly priced. You’re much better off going with one of these other hotels instead of this surprisingly poor one.

Manager charged me 30$ for sheets that had small penny sized stain before they even tried washing them. Kool aid should bleach right out but he didn't even bother, instead held my deposit only return a portion. No customer service skills

Cleaning staff will steal your cash! The one day we allow them to clean our room, my wallet was left empty. Front desk didn’t care and threatened to call the police after being reasonably upset about the situation. Do Not Stay Here or at least hide your wallet if you do.
