PLEASE READ BEFORE VISITING THIS STORE. I rarely make reviews but I need to this time to save everyone from visiting this morally corrupt store. We came in today to buy a cake for our friend’s birthday. Upon the very first bite, we all said it was the worst cake we’ve ever had. We laughed about it because we thought it was just a bad baker. However, one of our friends who owns a dessert store and frequently sells cakes said after his first bite that the cake was made at least 2 days ago, probably more than 3. It is not because the baker was bad but that the store sold us cake that they couldn’t have sold earlier. The cake is of horrible quantity, and if it weren’t for our friend, we would never know it’s because this cake is not fresh. I would be ok if they’re not good bakers, but selling us a cake from 3 days ago is not okay. Our baker friend mentioned that it is unsafe to eat a cake from that long ago, and they always throw it out or give it to some friend before it went badly at their store. I am very angry about this and I think it needs to be mentioned somewhere. I don’t know where all the good comments are coming from. This is obviously a very morally corrupt store. I would not even keep a cake I make in the fridge for that long. I would not give it to someone for free. I would consider it unsafe. I would not be surprised if someone got stomach pain because of it. They had many other ways of dealing with this outdated cake, but they chose to sell it to us without mentioning anything about the date it was made. Full price. Trust me, don’t go to this store. Everything went straight into the garbage can after our first bite. Obviously not going to risk our health on this one.

I got a cake for my birthday and it was really bad::: could said that’s the worst cake I’ve ever had. It felt like it’s been made for multiple days. The cake tasted watery and cream not fresh as well. Hope they are not selling expired food to people anymore.

Ruined a friend’s birthday and wasted 50 bucks on this 🤮🤢 Extremely disappointed to have bought a birthday cake from this bakery. The cake was not fresh at all, the texture was somewhat watery, and it had a smell of nail polish 🤮🤢 The bakery did not tell whatsoever that the cake was not fresh!

The Charcoal Bacon Cream Cheese bun is so gnarly delicious, like dang I could eat that thing every day. The Croquette Sausage is well done, proper flavoring and amazing breading. Its pricey here, as any cofe in LA. I mean it remains to have some cheap coffee like a 2.5 small house coffee. So if you need a hit of caffeine, you won't break the bank. But if you spend on just a couple breads, it could get costly. Look, either way around it, it's a great café.

Hands down the best bakery in LA ! The BEST gourmet bakery in Koreatown. Just opened last year, this is the place to buy most trendy breads from Korea (a lot of the ones you see on instagram) Tried their most popular breads like *Mammoth bread 맘모스빵 - cranberry jam and fresh cream sandwiched in between huge Soboro breads (separate layers of sweet potato and red bean paste within the breads) so many ingredients yet amazingly not overly sweet - YUM ! *Green Onion Bread 대파빵 - savory and delicious, crunchy outside and soft inside. The cake I had for my birthday is Mango Blueberry Cake, not too sweet (like Paris Baguette), it was very delicious and fresh. Very milky & delish fresh cream - the cream tasted most similar to one I had in Yamazaki Bakery in Little Tokyo Japan Town. Some popular menus get sold out fast, so call up the store for pre-ordering or ask for the availability. Parking space available outside & underground as well. Every bread and cakes in store looks so good, I would like to try every single one of them if I can 😂 Patio area available for seating - nice place to grab your coffee or tea to go The seating outside was full when I went around 2pm. To owner: Thank you for the delicious breads, I’ll definitely visit often.

This is our first try coming to Queen the roof, which is a bakery and café in Koreatown Los Angeles. It’s really good and you could see that the bakery items are nice and fresh and the coffee items are also sweet and caffeinated. The staff is very friendly. We tried the flatten croissant and they gave us some whipped cream with it and that was very tasty and chewy. Overall, we give it a big thumbs up and if you’re in the area we recommend you stop by and get a snack. Let the falcon fly.

Cute cafe with nice outdoor patio and fun looking treats/snacks but this review is really for the CAKES! Gorgeous, fresh, delicious celebration cakes! They also do very cute cupcakes with nice light cake and whipped cream (rather than American-style heavy sugary cake and heavy sugary buttercream). This layered rainbow cake with strawberries and fresh whipped cream brought a wow factor to my daughter's birthday party. The picture doesn't really do it justice and it tasted as lovely as it looked. I look forward to trying their other items and cakes.
