Found this place by accidentally. Reasonable prices for Indian groceries. And you can try for food samples before you eat/buy. Friendly and very respectful staff.

I would given Garden India food preparation a 5 star. I am pregnant and my husband is bringing food from Garden India every week from past month. Food is awesome, tasty, and flavorful, especially mixed vegetable korma. Great job with the taste, Garden India.

I was at the grocery store (which also has a connected restaurant) with my family last month. When the owner came to know that we were from out of town, he asked the chef to prepare some take away food for us (for free). Very kind of him, we cannot forget his kindness. God bless him.

The best aloo gobi I have ever tasted—fresh ginger and herbs make it very flavorful and unlike at other restaurants, not too greasy. The gentleman at the counter was kind and very sharp.

Loved the food. If you are looking for homemade and not too greasy food this place is for you! We ordered Tandoori chicken and green beans, Fish curry and Saag Chicken. We ordered here twice and there was no difference in the food. The owner was very kind and helpful too. This place is a great stop for food if you are visiting Thousand Oaks. Definitely visiting next time we are in town!

Ordered butter chicken and garlic naan through doordash, my driver for some reason took my order back so I went to pick it up. The owners were so friendly and apologetic gave me some free sweets. The food was incredible and worth the drive!

Best Chicken Tikka Masala! Everytime I'm in the area I come here to get food. Tried the lamb samosa for first time today and honestly the best ones I've had. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants around!

Totally unassuming place to get delicious Indian food. Got the chicken korma lunch special. Exactly what I was craving. Super flavorful and perfectly cooked. It’s in a grocery though, so not the best ambiance, but will definitely be ordering takeout again.

I've been coming to Garden India for their food a year or two now. Their takeaway food beats any of the Indian Restaurants in town, and at a better price point. The food is flavorful and authentic, and the passion of the owners is evident. I have loved every dish I've had. If you are looking for quality Indian Food in Ventura County, this is number one. Their grocery store is wonderful as well - they are the stop if you need quality rice, spices, or any other specialty ingredients.

Holy cow! This was the most tender, flavorful Buttered Chicken I've ever had! The Garlic Naan was coated with minced garlic but wasn't oily! If they offer you a Mango Lassi SAY YES! The woman that helped me was so kind and hospitable that I regret not eating there with her. Seriously, I'm gonna lose sleep over it. I can't wait until I can try more of their dishes.
