4 of us were there last night at 6pm. The restaurant wasn’t busy. We were quickly seated and ready to order. All of us are orental vegetarian which means no animal products, no garlic and no onion. We quickly learnt that they only have 3 orders of the vegetarian pot left and they don’t have any steam stinky tofu left. They sold out the night before and new order won’t be here for another couple days. Given we ordered veggie pots, I honestly don’t know why it takes couple days for order vegetables. And no substitute is alllowed on any of their menus. I can only skip the things I am allergic to but no substitute. Most of the dipping sauce they offered has garlic in there so we ask for basic soy sauce. It’s my assumption that all Chinese restaurant should have soy sauce. No surprise: we got no again. The store manager explained that it’s company policy that all their dishes should go with the 4 dipping sauces and only the 4. I can’t image how a restaurant can operate with such limited flexibility given different customers have different preference, allergy and food etiquette. This place is definitely not for people with food allergy and not for orential vegetarians.

Great selections of hot pots from many different countries such as Taiwan, Korea, Thailand.... My favorite choice is the House Special and if you love spicy food, their Taiwanese Spicy hotpot is second to none. Boba milk tea is something new and in certain cases better than some other local boba house.

I wasn't planning to come over. However, I was so hungry and that was the first place for hot pot and I have chosen to come. I love #1 that is their chief's specialty. Also, #1 is probably for Taiwanese only because of sticky tofu. Yummy yummy....

AWFUL SERVICE!!! The staff called William At this location (2020 S Hacienda Blvd, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745) refused to change my set of sauce into one type while all the other locations do all the time like Pasadena and Arcadia. He told me that they never do this which they did every time I ordered there and all their customers mix three types of their sauce together to go with their hot pot which is unconvincing. And I told him I’ve been their customer for more than 5 years. They always change the sauce for my takeout order. YOU KNOW WHAT?? He asked me to show him the photo proof of the sauce the other locations changed for me . This is not how you treat your loyal customers!!!

Arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but staff welcomed us anyway. Our waitress was awesome too. She broke down how to order and what each dish of interest consisted of. Good food overall. 😋

Went to boiling point today. Got the beef order. Came with either glass noodles or white rice. I got the noodles. With the beef order I got hot for spice level. I love spicy food so the hot was good, want super spicy but spicy enough to feel it, and if you swallow the food wrong you will for sure cough. They also had soup refill. They also gave complimentary drinks, either a black tea or green tea on ice. I got the black tea and It was slightly which was perfect. The food was delicious would def come here again.

Arrived at 21:30. Both of restrooms were broken. Had to go to a nearby store to use it. Even WORSE, they told me that they ran out of rice! An Asian resterant without rice?!!!! That's really nice : ) Photo: rice replacement. Very cool. Because I am eating Taiwanese super spicy pot. 🙄

Overall, this cozy hot pot is great. Pros: -Atmosphere -customer service -food -restrooms -location Cons: -slight price increase in past years -long wait times (get there early) All in all, I give this place a 4 🌟 rating!

My wife and I were happy because for the first time there was no waiting list and several tables available at the BOILING POINT!! Sure enough it all made sense at the end, this is the first time that no one approached to check on us nor to offer us more soup. I am not an expert on napa cabbage but it does not look like premium cabbage. If you think this restaurant is good, please visit the one on 250 W Valley Blvd UNIT J, San Gabriel, CA 91776 or 250 W Valley Blvd UNIT J, San Gabriel, CA 91776 and you will understand what I mean.

Came here for dinner and it was just ok. The food was ok, decent size restaurant. The waiter brought us water and one of them was half full. Didn't understand why it was only half full. Once the food we order came, the waiter never came back to check up on us. We were trying to get our waiters attention, but he never looked our way and I was needing water.

I recently visited Boiling Point and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Unlike other similar establishments, this Boiling Point location stood out to me in several ways. Firstly, I found the taste of the food to be superior, which made my dining experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, I appreciated that the waiting time was relatively short compared to what I've experienced at other places. This made the entire dining process more convenient and efficient. Most notably, I was satisfied to discover that I could order unlimited rice and receive double the amount of meat. This added value to my meal and left me feeling very satisfied with my dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Boiling Point for its delicious food, short waiting times, and generous serving options. I will definitely be returning for more!

Really delicious hot pot spot. Hits the spot every time for me. This is their originL shop and it's the only one that has the spinach wok noodle that I love so dearly. Those are bakednnoodles btw...So good! My favorite is the house special and I do a meat exchange from pork to lamb. I get my usual black tea. My partner got the sweet milk with boba. I usually don't love boba, but this place had really good boba...Probably the best I've had in a long long while. He ordered the mutton hot pot and that was okay too but not enough meat in my opinion. If you don't like fermented tofu (specialty of this store btw), then just go for the beef or lamb hot pot...Both are good too. What ever you do , be sure to dip your meat in their garlic paste and garlic soy sauce...Total upgrade for your palette. Enjoy .

My favorite is the japanese miso ramen. Only giving this location 4 stars because it sell out and I missed it. Not good thing when you're carving something.

I ordered large seafood hot pot and shared it with my mom. The size was just right for the both of us. It came with a drink, you can choose from green or black iced tea. The soup was so good, our seafood hot pot comes with octopus, 2 shrimps, clams, fish ball, fish fillet, vegetables and thin slices of pork meat.

The food is great but there's always a long line, so expect to wait at least an hour during the busy hours.
