Absolutely great sporting goods for everybody Great attention and excellent service from friendly staff. !!

As I went in the store I thought it was nice looking and was told hello by the lady behind a counter. As I look through the golf equipment I must have been there somewhere between 18 and 25 minutes and was never spoke to by the fellow who eventually sat behind the counter. I look through the golf shoes and they have a very poor selection and size. As I look through the golf clubs I needed help but I wasn't about to go ask the rude gentleman sitting on his behind. It's just one of those stores I don't ever have to go back to!

Went in for 3 items and came out with 6. Very clean and well kept store. There were associates all over the store and were happy to answer questions and walk you to where the items were located. Prices are a bit higher 5han other stores but the selection on hand and being able to see, feel and touch the item makes up for the added cost .

My wife and I went shopping at Dick’s Sporting Good in Santa Maria on September 14, 2023, to buy walking shoes. Eli, the sales person, was polite and helpful in helping my wife select the right shoes that fit her needs. He even went as far as to double check in the back for the size that she needed. It was a good experience and she was pleased with the purchase.

Dave the head golf guy there did a fitting for a new hybrid that I absolutely love. He was very thorough and helped improve my swing. Dave was very knowledgeable about his products in the store and I loved the technology In the store helping me see exactly what was best fit for my swing. Go see DAVE for all your golf needs he’s awesome.

I received a pair of golf pants as a gift in the wrong size. Within a couple days I went to the same store where they were purchased and found an exact match in a smaller size (they only carry one style of ladies golf pants in the entire department) because I did not have the original receipt I was told they would credit me $14 for the pants I brought in and I had to purchase the smaller size for $70?! The pants I brought in still had the Dick’s tags with the $70 price and had never even been worn. I left and called customer service after speaking to two people and having my complaint “escalated” I was told their policy without a receipt is to offer the lowest possible value even on a straight across size exchange. Horrible customer service!! Had they even offered a freaking coupon they might have kept a customer. Do not support this company

Never returning to this location again. Waited 5 minutes for a dressing room while employees were standing around talking. The second I go find someone to open a room for me an employee starts walking over. By the time I get to the line the checkout line is so long ppl are literally breathing own each others backs due to the layout of the store. Additionally the cashier was insisting on keep me at the cash register for as long as she could keep me there when I clearly noted that I was in a hurry. Worse experience in Santa Maria so far.

A few days ago I believe it was November 15 I was looking for some Air Force, Eli was quick to help me out was very polite as well as helpful. Service was amazing!

Went in to purchase shoes. Excellent selection! Was really pleased with the insoles also available for purchase. Kao was running the whole shoe dept by himself. He did an excellent job with service. Wished he had some help!

Wanted to buy some shoes. The guy came out told me to scan barcide then he can help me. He walks away and another guy comes to help and says no problem. I sit and wait and he is all over the store doing I don't know. Then finally comes back and says I don't have those. You need to have someone back at shoes especially when I see 3 other people just folding clothws

They have a decent selection of goods, but have a tendency to run out of bigger equipment. At least the few times I've gone looking for that sort of thing. They've been out of everything I've wanted. They manage to keep the weights in stock pretty well and there's always workout gear available. The staff is pretty friendly and they keep the store nice and clean.

Was buying some cleats for 30 dollars and they charged me 103 dollars when the sticker clearly said 30

Customer service was lacking on our visit. Young man in the golf area was quick to tell us which items we should not touch but did not offer any assistance, then he quickly returned to practicing his golf swing in the mirror

So much to see in this store, but they need to clean and restock the bathrooms if they expect people to shop for any amount of time. Both restrooms were out of TP and other customers clearly left their feedback via paper towels in the can as a substitute. No doubt in my mind it's been clogged for quite some time.

First the customer service was great from the initial greeting at the door. Especially at the checkout with cashier Alice. I had returns, price match adjustment, new purchases and Alice made that experience great with patience, knowledge, and overall Joyful. Will definitely return for that experience with Alice alone, plus love the fact they will price match

Great experience tonight the guy back in the fishing department helped me get the pole I wanted and some line and put the line on the real for me. Thanks for the help. I think his name was Cody.

Great selection of inventory. Went in for a medicine ball and ended up with that plus two jump ropes. Staff seems really happy there, very helpful.

Won't let let you try bats out anymore since last year and are usually out of stock on teenage softball gear. Online probably is the way to go, and try other teammates gear to get a feel for it.
