Dr Heck and his team are wonderful. They listen, try to understand, and being he is a DO, he’s been able to perform adjustments rather than always use medicine. The new location at St Theresa’s is a definite downgrade. Very poor location, too many people, complete lack of privacy at check in. The exam rooms are almost half the size of the old ones so they force Dr Heck to do his adjustments in a space the size of a cubicle. Makes it almost impossible. As always with Ascension, reception treats you like garbage every time. It feels as if they are running an ongoing contest for ‘most miserable person in the world’. They alone are reason enough to find another doctor. Zero compassion for their doctors patients. You will be treated as a hassle and not a patient.

Dr. Ragnar Peterson and the entire Ascension-St. Teresa team worked very efficiently together. I am embarrassed to say that I cannot remember all of my nurses names but they treated me with the highest level of empathy and respect. From the time I entered the emergency department till I was discharged following surgery was less than 4 hours! I’m forever grateful for this team of professionals!

Very patient staff and the nurses do understand the fear when it comes to needles. I’ve had a rough experience a very long time ago when I had to get blood draw. I was like 12 or so at the time. The nurse was mean and injured my arm with the needle. That encounter messed me up pretty badly. The nurse that I had yesterday was nice and understanding. She’s was probably the first one that got a needle in my arm but my body freaked out and made my muscles tense up to a point that blood couldn’t come out. Not her fault.

Rose always takes time to listen empathetically. I appreciate that and the way she presents options for me to explore and consider, treating me as a partner in my healthcare.

My experience was just as expected, it was a repeat of the same thing I went through a year ago that is required by my doctor since he has so many patients on Medicare now. I only do this because it’s required by my doctor.

Teresa & Dr Rose are always the best. Very friendly and always listen to my concerns if any and make sure that I have a thorough check up.

I have only had one appointment and had three requests for perceptions to be refilled. This process required no less than 6 phone each time 3 to pharmacy and 3 calls to the doctor office to get a prescription filled. All I get from the office it's not us it's the pharmacy. Or my fault of course.

Dr Samuel Heck did a great job listening and providing me with the help that I needed. I’m beyond happy with how everything went. The rest of the staff were great as well! I look forward to coming back and no one ever says that about the doctors office!

Rose Wusterbarth is a WONDERFUL PA that I cannot say enough good things about. She took the time to explain any and everything to me in a way that I understood. She came across as actually caring and informative in a way that just made the experience of going to a doctors office more personable. I also like that she offers many services, as I don't need to go to a seperate office for other services.

My appointment with Dr. Nelson was set for 7:30am. I checked in with the front desk and they told me to go on up to see the doctor. I had blood work to get as well and I noticed the lab wasn't open yet. I had a bit of a wait and overheard that some of the staff were running late. After I got called back things went by very quickly. I feel the doctor was thourghral with the questions asked and was pleased with the service I received. Then I was sent to get my lab work done. I was shocked by the number of people that were ahead of me now waiting for lab work! It was 9:30 by the time I left the lab. Definitely longer than I expected.

The receptionists when you first walk in are some of the most unfriendly people. At least towards some people, I’ve seen them greet and help people when they walk in but for me I was just stared at and then when I went to walk towards one of them, she rudely told me she was waiting on a patient already. I would have known that if any one of them would have spoken up and greeted me from the beginning. If it wasn’t for my daughters doctor being so great with us, I would immediately go elsewhere.

Dr Heck is an amazing doctor. Ascension has not failed me in coming up with ways to cause a patient with significant past history of medical trauma (mostly from abusive providers) as well as Level 3 Autism Comorbid with GAD, Harm. I had an anxiety attack on the phone when attempting to schedule an urgently needed appointment and the clinic decided to deny me care by wrongfully dismissing me. To add insult to injury, I tried to appeal and was instructed to talk to QA. I later figured out that QA was instructed to not reach out to me. I don't feel safe going to any other doctor than Dr Heck; but, I am now without access to care. Ascension needs to do better with Autistic Patients because this is pretty shameful. Edit (December 7th): Upon multiple attempts to rectify the issue, Ascension has started threatening me….for advocating for myself….QA has been deliberately told to not talk to me. Really!?!?!?!!? Is this how you treat all your patients or just Autistic ones who struggle with scheduling appointments. Shame on you Ascension.

Dr Tenofsky was wonderful, great bed side manner explained a lot in simple terms for me. She's very considerate of your time and feelings I got upset and she was comforting to me and my husband.

Dr Peterson and staff did an excellent job at making me feel comfortable and respected at the care they did for my gallbladder procedure. I feel st Teresa goes the extra mile to be a great hospital that truly cares for the patient . Thanks again for the excellent care.

Always a pleasant experience. Quick, efficient check-in. Short wait time. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and still had plenty of time with the practitioner who carefully explained the procedures and answered all my questions.

Love coming to St Teresa but since you have closed the office at Maple and 135th it’s like a whole different place. It is busier not a lot of room in the lobby people were standing and felt I had NO privacy while talking to the kind Ladies at the desk. Otherwise the group I was there to see Simone I’d give 5 stars to her and Dr. Tenofsky crew.

Simone Culver is the most caring medical person I see in Wichita. It is reassuring to have her on my journey after cancer.

Great doctor and team. Spelled everything out clearly. Surgery and recovery went well. Special props to doctor for telling beforehand that my recovery could be much worse than it was. 5 stars

I first met Dr.Tenofsky in September of 2022, l had found an abnormally in my right breast that turned out to be malignant. I had been through my wife’s breast cancer surgery and follow up treatments in 2013. Never crossed my mind that l would follow with my own breast cancer. I was one of the ‘“one percenters”, approximately 1% of breast cancers are found in men. Dr.Tenofsky explained my situation and anticipated surgery in a manner that eased my mind and gave me hope for recovery. Surgery was exceptional and my family was more than pleased with Dr.Tenofsky. I am greatful that l will be under the care of Dr.Tenofsky and her team or the next six years.

My daughter and I met with Dr. Tenofsky and her team for a consultation for breast surgery. We waited approx. 20 minutes before we were taken back to Dr's office. Dr. Tenofsky and her team were very thorough explaining what would take place. They also, covered the "What if's and Why not's". As a soon-to-be patient, I could not have asked for better service and thorough explanation of procedure. I have not hesitated to recommend St. Teresa to anyone that asks.
