My wife and I had the worst experience here. We were having a miscarriage and instead of actual medical guidance, we got religious advice, were told to eat ice cream, and recommended to read a book about naming babies in heaven. After requesting to see another provider for the next appointment and after voicing complaints about the care, my wife was met with a VOTE YES sticker sitting on the counter in the room and a rude nurse telling her that they are all very religious in this office. Terrible care for women. Unacceptable.

They have a ā€œvote yesā€ sign in their lobby that is encouraging people to vote to take womenā€™s rights away. That will directly affect access to fertility treatment, birth control, and womens overall liberty and freedom of choice with their body. I would never feel safe in the hands of doctors that supports that decision and i immediately stopped being a patient with them once i saw it. a doctor who wants to take away anyones rights should never ever be allowed to put their hands on a patient

While I like my personal gynecologist who happens to practice at this facility, I am very shocked and dismayed that this practice has decided to enter the political field by posting a ā€œVote Yesā€ yard sign at their reception desk. I want all of my doctors to be in a political-free zone! I have checked their website, and this practice is associated primarily with Wesley Hospital which is NOT a Catholic hospital. Why should patients have the Vote Yes propaganda forced down their throats upon entering this facility? It made me VERY uncomfortable. I spoke at length about the situation to my gynecologist. She has the mistaken belief that a ā€œyesā€ vote will still allow abortions to be kept safe in Kansas. Some founding members of this practice are doing some mighty strong brainwashing! Meanwhile, Iā€™m sure that there are OB patients within this practice who have the unfortunate circumstance of losing their pregnancies. How does this practice handle that inevitability? If you choose to book an appointment with this practice, be aware!

Reviews regarding the office's position on the amendment this August have nothing to do with whether you are treated well here. People actually seeking medical care would be wise to ignore those reviews. I just switched to this office for my prenatal care and have already been treated much better than the last facility I was going to. In the medical industry, it is hard to get clear answers on the cost of services and they provided me with that on day one. In addition to that, their nurses and staff have already treated me better than other practices I've been to.

Leaving a facility, in tears, because of a simple appointment to refill a medication is completely unacceptable. The entitlement that the staff (nurse practitioners, specifically) think that they have, to dismiss and ignore their patientā€™s concerns and multiple resources is wrong on SO many levels! Their communication is passive aggressive and demeaning. They refuse to take ā€œnoā€ for an answer unless they spend a solid 30 minutes fighting about it and being verbally abusive- no matter how respectful and calm the patient attempts to be. They then proceed to preach about how they ā€œdonā€™t ever want to force anyone to do things they arenā€™t emotionally or mentally prepared for.ā€ How is telling your patient to ā€œsuck it upā€, not forceful and rude? Even after the patient has gone in depth of how and why they arenā€™t comfortable? Continuing to try to pry information out of a patient, when they have verbally expressed (multiple times) and shown body language cues, as to how uncomfortable they are is frustrating, degrading, upsetting, and so many other things. Then, just to add on to it, changing their prescription without talking to them about it, including reasoning, side effects, and dosing, is so confusing and odd? Thereā€™s no reason to just surprise them with a new prescription that their provider refuses to educate them about. This place is a double-edged sword, and quite honestly a danger to the public. I do not know how any of these employees still have valid certifications and licenses, given the so-called ā€œcareā€ and ā€œsupportā€ that they are offering.

A practice that spends a good majority of their time bringing life safely into the world would have the courage to boldly take a stance to encourage others to VOTE YES to valuing both mothers and babies!! This is how it should be! For those of you looking for an honest review of the care these doctors provide day in and day out, please ignore the people offended by a sign in their office that supports the life of both mothers and babies. Thank YOU Wichita OB/GYN Associates for what you do!!!!

I have been a patient here for 35 years. All of the doctors are so caring, knowledgable, and kind. They gave seen me through polycystic issues, two c-sections, yearly visits, and now my daughters are patients. After my children's births, I was able to call and speak with the nurse after hours with mastitis issues, and other doctors in the office visited me in hospital just to see how I was (two very big babies). Care is amazing!

Dr. Hodge is an absolute rock-star. She has helped us with 4 babies and 5 pregnancies, and we couldn't be more happy with an OB. Though she has undoubtedly seen thousands of patients, she still was tearing up with us during the miscarriage. Her bedside manner, knowledge, processes, overall care, and so far her nurses, are second to none. Ask. For. Hodge.

Dr. Meyers was great during my miscarriage and very informative but I will say his nursing team is absolutely terrible. On a test that takes two days to get back id wait over a week. And when called and asked about I was always told they'd call back and it'd be days before hearing anything. The attitude and entitlement they think they have is crazy. If you can't deal with hormonal women don't work in that field. If you can be sympathetic during a loss.... well you know where I'm going. Overall terrible. If I could see the doctor without dealing with them I would. Its time for him to go somewhere more welcoming as he is to good for them.

This facility is absolutely horrendous. The only thing they can do (that is skimming the bottom of the barrel of being professional) is refill a prescription, but not without guilt tripping and pressuring the patient before, during, and after. The employees are very judgmental and have crossed the line between being professional and nosey, more than once. They do not ensure patient privacy within the workplace, and they push patient boundaries. Arguing about your patientā€™s health and your opinion should never be a thing, but that is basically one of the only things they seem to be able to do. To add to it, the cherry on top of all of this is how terrible the receptionistā€™s customer service skills are. There was no ā€œWelcome! How can I help you?ā€, or ā€œdonā€™t forget to grab a snack!ā€ after blood work was done (fasting blood work, which makes it even worse) or even a ā€œhave a good day!ā€ from ANY of them. These employees (at the front desk, and in the rooms) are plenty old enough to know how to treat people. If being a medical professional at this office, means being unnecessarily ignorant and dismissive, then they should all get some sort of award for succeeding at that. By the way, simple decency and kindness goes a LONG way, especially in such a hostile environment, for everyone!

They can't keep their religious views to themselves and will prescribe eating ice cream rather than actually helping you with a miscarriage. They don't give any kind of sound medical advise, just religious propaganda. They should be absolutely ashamed and the entire business should be restaffed and properly trained

The staff is not supportive, and pressures patients like itā€™s life or death. (Itā€™s not, there are ALWAYS other options and routes to go! Your mental health is way more important than risking a traumatic flashback!!!) The staff pushes patientā€™s boundaries, trying to get them to explain their trauma IN DETAIL, which is a whole other problem, especially if the patient canā€™t emotionally/mentally/physically handle it! Trauma is not an easy thing to talk about, and itā€™s really not easy when you were just going in for a regular check-up, not a chat about your lifelong trauma. Medical care is not black and white, thereā€™s a lot of gray area. They refuse to see the gray, and they demand that the patient ā€œdo as they say.ā€ Medical trauma is real, the experiences Iā€™ve witnessed from this staff is only creating MORE medical trauma for the patient. I am baffled by the fact that they have so many repeating patients coming back and rescheduling with them. They are the MOST unaware, uneducated, insensitive, and belittling medical office group I have EVER witnessed! Basic medical care is not provided, not even on request. If you are there for a specific reason, you better carve out 2-4 hours of your day, just to sit and argue with them about your own health history and serious concerns- and only very lightly speaking on the whole reason youā€™re there (for a maximum of about ten minutes) with no actually cohesive conversation about it. I am extremely angry and upset, especially knowing that THIS is how they choose to treat their clients, and that they think it is acceptable care! News flash, itā€™s not!! A business, let alone a MEDICAL CARE FACILITY should never leave their clients feeling so defeated, and even more traumatized! For people with medical anxiety, a completely off-the-rails and abusive faculty, makes it 50 times more difficult to go back, even to a different place. Itā€™s awful, knowing that the pit in your stomach was right, the second you walked in those doors. Also, going back and forth, very aggressively, with a patient about why they need care and/or accommodations is so off the mark, itā€™s honestly embarrassing for the facility! Their closed-mindedness and inability to CARE makes it so much harder for the patient to be HEARD and UNDERSTOOD! Whether you are someone who is starting their wellness journey, or is in the middle of it- this office has a HUGE problem with offering resources, and even a pinch of sympathy to anyone struggling to find answers. I would encourage and support anyone that is considering this company and ā€œbusinessā€, to FIND SUPPORT ELSEWHERE, because you most likely wonā€™t find what youā€™re looking for when you walk through those doors to their office!

I was delivered by a doctor at this practice, and began seeing him when I became a teenager. I moved out of state after I was married, and returned in the middle of my first pregnancy when I began to see Dr. Christman. Him and his nurses (and other staff) have seen me through some of the best days of my life and some of my worst. I have been through multiple miscarriages, multiple out of state IVF retrievals and transfersā€¦and they have been there every step of the way. In fact, Dr. Christman has assisted in so many of my out of state requirements and testing for IVF and helped with all of my ultrasounds prior to my transfers. Through the years his nurses have called to check on me as well as Dr. Christman himself. Not only that, but with both of my babies he came in to deliver them when he was not on call. My daughter was born at 26 weeks and he was the only calming presence and voice in the days leading up to her traumatic birth. She would not be here today, and maybe I wouldnā€™t be as well if he had not come in to help me the day she was delivered via emergency c-section. If you want the most kind and supportive staffā€¦I recommend you go here! I wish I could see them for all of our medical needs, and Iā€™m sad when I have to wait a year between visits.
