Dr.
Zayat
and
his
staff
on
the
Gastroenterology
side
of
the
practice
were
all
pleasant
and
great
to
deal
with
during
my
initial
appointment.
The
Kansas
Endoscopy
(suite
107)
was
terrible
from
the
moment
I
stepped
into
the
reception
area.
The
receptionist
was
extremely
rude
and
out
of
sorts
(later
found
out
from
overhearing
a
conversation
this
was
due
to
a
policy
change
the
day
before
that
she
didn’t
agree
with).
No
excuse
for
how
rude
she
was
when
we
had
nothing
to
do
with
said
policy
change
and
its
unprofessional.
When
my
interaction
with
the
receptionist
was
reported
to
the
Director,
Nancy
K.
,
she
greeted
me
prior
to
my
procedure
with…”well,
we
have
great
reviews,
so…
“and
had
nothing
further
to
say.
All
doctors
and
nurses
were
made
aware
of
my
episodes
with
seizures
and
the
medication
I
take
(listed
in
my
patient
chart)
shall
a
seizure
occur.
I
have
NEVER
had
an
issue
with
having
a
seizure
coming
out
of
anesthesia
but
for
some
reason
a
seizure
encountered
and
none
of
the
medical
staff
knew
why
and
the
anesthesiologist
Dr,
Rajeeva
B.
REFUSED
to
give
me
my
seizure
medication
listed
in
my
medical
chart.
They
contacted
my
emergency
contact
that
drove
85mph
to
get
to
me
as
safely
as
possible
with
the
medicine
that
needed
to
be
administered.
Once
he
arrived
with
it,
they
denied
my
husband
with
the
medication,
and
the
ambulance
arrived
shortly
after
(EMS
administered
the
medication
and
I
was
fine
five
minutes
later).
While
I
was
being
placed
into
the
ambulance,
the
doctor,
Winnie
Sheu
was
forcing
documents
into
my
husbands
hands
and
repeatedly
telling
him
“how
normal
everything
was
and
no
follow
up
would
be
needed”.
This
facility
is
not
equipped
with
handling
emergencies
shall
they
incur.
THESE
people
are
a
joke!
The
following
day,
today,
I
contacted
Kansas
Endoscopy
for
an
explanation
on
how
this
happened.
I
was
met
with
“there
is
nothing
we
could
have
done”.
Gas
lighting
me
and
telling
me
that
if
I
would
have
signed
a
paper
prior
to
the
procedure
to
administer
my
medication,
and
they
would
have
allowed
it.
I
asked
them
to
send
me
the
paper
that
should
have
been
signed
because
all
documents
were
completed
prior
to
the
procedure
and
NO
SUCH
PAPER
OR
DIRECTION
WITHIN
THE
PRE
OP
DOCUMENTS
EXIST!
They
refused
to
speak
with
me
any
further
and
hung
up
on
me.
I
called
back
multiple
time
for
first
names
and
last
initial
of
everyone
that
was
involved
in
my
case
to
submit
a
complaint
to
the
Kansas
State
Board
of
Healing
Arts
while
under
their
care
and
EVERY
SINGLE
PERSON
REFUSED
to
provide
this
information.
Finally,
after
17
calls,
5
voicemails,
multiple
hang
ups
and
threats
received
from
the
office,
Penny
V.,
Administrator
of
the
facility,
returned
my
call
and
provided
the
information
of
all
individuals
involved
with
my
case.
Needless
to
say,
I
pray
if
you
are
reading
this,
DO
NOT
RISK
PUTTING
YOURSELF
OR
YOUR
LOVED
ONES
IN
THE
CARE
OF
THE
PEOPLE
AT
THIS
FACILITY.
Since
there
is
very
few
GI
doctors
in
this
county,
and
this
office
has
a
hand
in
every
other
office
and
facility
within
the
county
because
there
are
so
few,
I
HIGHLY
recommend
you
see
a
GI
outside
of
Sedgwick
County
because
they
will
be
able
to
form
their
own
opinion
about
your
case
without
having
people
like
this
tarnish
any
chance
you
have
on
receiving
a
proper
diagnosis,
instead
of
treating
you
or
your
loved
one
like
a
cash
cow,
an
inconvenience,
and
a
waste
of
time.
