This airport is 8 years old now. But it still looks and operates as it’s new. Very well maintained and the people at the airport are all nice and helpful. Your cheapest option to park at the airport is park & ride. It costs $8 per day and a shuttle runs about every 10-15 min to and from the airport, 24/7. It’s an easy 3-5 min ride. Exit on S Air Cargo road and take the first right at the stop sign. If you’re looking to say bye or hi to someone inside the airport, park in the short term lot. You get the first 60 minutes free. After that, it’s $3 per hour. Reminder that you can take food through security. Just no liquids or gels over 3.4 ounces. Right before security, there is an amazing aviation museum highlighting the history of all manufacturing plants in Wichita, deeming it the air capital of the world. It’s a must stop if you have time! Overall this airport is very underrated and you should strongly consider flying out of here if you’re within 3 hours of Wichita. Super easy and convenient to get in and out.

One of the easiest airports to fly in and out of. The only downside is that there aren’t many direct flights. Other than that, I highly recommend. Navigating is very simple and it’s never overly crowded or understaffed.

Super friendly and not many lines. This new airport represents a modern standard that our regional airports should aspire to meet. The service from check in to TSA to departure has a friendliness element that someone should bottle. Upon arrival luggage was quick to be delivered. There is ample parking, easy drop off and pick up area. The restaurants are good and the restrooms clean and plentiful.

Great little airport! It has the conveniences of a larger airport, but is rarely crowded. Baggage has always been delivered promptly, and the terminal is very easy to navigate. Security lines have never been an issue when I traveled. PreCheck is offered and works very efficiently.

I have been to a few airports, both big and small, but this is a really fast and put together airport. Fast screening and food right as you come out of TSA. Gates are relatively close to the checkpoint. Even at peak times, there isn't a long wait to get through, 5-6 minutes! Parking to drop off you can park and the first hour is free!

I had a bad experience with the customer service on 2 different occasion. Got yelled at before I said one word, honestly prior to us walking up to the counter. The rudeness at 6 am... The overall airport is extremely nice and clean. I would recommend but some of the actual staff should go back through a basic customer service training and wake up on the correct side of the bed.

This is a small airport as far as airports go. It is really clean and everyone is pretty nice. Almost everything closes at 5:00 pm despite what the website says. So if you have a later flight don't plan on eating there

The good: Small, easy airport to navigate through Easy access to plenty of different vending machine Good variety of fast food places to eat Dunking Donuts inside of terminal and before passing TSA( this location is easier and quick to grab and go with less of a wait) Rapid testing location Rental car agencies right across the street with a short walk They have a small sitting area before passing TSA that gives the history of aviation in Wichita, KS( highly recommend taking the time to watch the video and see each panel) The art work is phenomenal and worth a check Getting through TSA is one of the easiest experiences in this airport All the workers I’ve encountered have been pleasant and helpful They have a 9/11 memorial with a section of i beam on display Security/Police have a good presence The baggage area is wide open even when bags have arrived which are it easy to grab your luggage and go It’s easy to be dropped off or picked up out front as traffic is normally light The polished floors with what looks to be runways is a nice construction touch Several quick grab and go stores Children’s play area Animal assistant waste area Photos of weapons that have been confiscated by TSA is a real eye opener “I forgot I had that” is the most used excuse according to the officer sitting at the desk The bad: The chairs could be a little more comfortable other than that no much “bad” with using this airport

Quick in and out with efficient TSA and convenient parking. One of my favorite airports to travel in and out of. 12 gates but you can go anywhere in the world from here.

...Great Design, small but great ambiance, spacious and everyone is like "Family". Small check in lines, good, fast and helpful security service and good customer service at the CNBC smartshop. Wichita Dwight D Eisenhower Airport makes you feel welcome. First time here, great impressions.

This is a really nice airport in Wichita. The TSA check was the best I've seen. I traveled a lot and they were smiling and friendly. That's not easy to find. They have an adequate number of shops and restaurants. Very clean airport. 👌

Went to pick up a relative coming in from Dallas. The parking was easy and close, flight was on time and luggage was picked up within 10 minutes. Very smooth and a great experience.

Clean airport. Easy to navigate, probably because it's small. Staff is friendly, even the gate agents. There's one main area with a few eateries, so food options may be limited. If you have dietary restrictions, you may want to bring your own food. Baggage claim is quick and easy. Both parking and car rentals are just a few steps away. Even when I'm getting picked-up, transportation is easy and there is only a second island. Overall I really enjoy flying in and out of this airport.

Wow! I’m here for an early flight and everyone I have encountered from checking my bags to security personnel have been extraordinarily friendly! Such a pleasant start to my vacation. It’s amazing the difference a smile and a friendly greeting can make.

Daniel was the kind young man who assisted me at the airport. Daniel was so attentive and accommodating!! I didn't have time to print out my pictures to free up space on my SD card. None of the stores that might sell SD cards were open, so he wiped his personal one for me so I could have storage space for this trip to Norway pictures. Thank you, kind Sir. The world needs more kind people like you!

I'm still not a fan of the new airport. It's fancy, yes, but not anymore efficient. Takes forever to get your baggage. Food options are terrible. There aren't any additional terminals, and people are rude. Picking up people takes forever because they have to wait forever to get their bags. The only thing that's an improvement is the parking garage.
