The Hudson was the perfect venue for a small to medium sized wedding. The outdoor patio was stunning and the interior rooms offer an industrial feel that accept any type of decorations. LOVE this venue.

The itself venue was a beautiful place, however we did have a few issues. For it being so expensive to rent, there were lots of extra fees you had to pay, such as tablecloths and hourly security. This was quite frustrating because the extra fees we paid totaled 1,000 in addition to what we already paid for the venue. The other issue we had was that they were not very upfront with us about the rehearsal dinner. We paid extra for a package that included a rehearsal dinner. About a month after we sign the contract, we go to book the rehearsal dinner. I was then informed that I couldn’t book the rehearsal dinner until 30 days before my wedding. This was to ensure no one else wanted to book the day before my wedding that would make them more money. This is incredibly frustrating as a bride having to wait a month before your wedding to orchestrate rehearsal dinner details. I figured since we were paying extra to do the rehearsal dinner there they would’ve allowed us to book it the night before, because that’s what you do in a wedding. Not all my out of town family would’ve been able to be there earlier than that either. So- we waited and it got to 32 days before our wedding and still no one had booked that day. Then, knowing how important it was to me to have the rehearsal the night before, I get a call 2 days before I could’ve booked it saying they rented the place to someone else the night before. This was so frustrating because now I have 32 days to find a new spot to rehearse. They did end up allowing us to rehearse in the afternoon, before the other event, but that was hard on our parents with little kids (like our flower girls and ring bears) who had to be checked out of school and for those that had to take off work. We also weren’t allowed to bring in any dinner at our rehearsal dinner. We paid a good amount extra to do it in our package, and there was no give time. We only had exactly 1 hour. They are very very strict about their times. Don’t ask to come in early to set up day of either. No one will be there before 10am. All in all, it was a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly, however, I was incredibly disappointed in many of their strict policies.

Hands down one of the best wedding venues in town. Jessie is a true professional and always accommodating. Our team has done many weddings at The Hudson and loved how smooth how they all turned out. The rustic vibe of the venue would be perfect for any bride out there! There is a lot of brick work inside with an open canvas to decorate it however you like. This venue can accommodate 200-250 people comfortably with extra space on the patio for outdoor activities. Best wishes to all of the brides!

The Hudson is such a stunning venue. My husband and I had an amazing day with friends and family. Communication was a bit difficult through the honeybook app but we got everything sorted out. The reason we chose The Hudson was because it was already so beautiful that you do not need to include a lot of decorations. The venue was able to accommodate our large family. We had an amazing time!

A wonderful place to get married in. We had a beautiful day that was full of love, family and happiness. The sun shone and my heart burst at the site of my lovely bride walking down the isle. The kitchen and floor space was ample and there was plenty of room to shake a leg and have a drink. Her father was especially kind to me and welcomed me to the family with a big hug. There is lots of scope for different decorations - I suggest visiting first as the place needs to be viewed before you start making plans. Her mother and sister really got on well with my Mom and Sister it was like they had always been friends. The booking service was easy and all the staff were super duper helpful. She starting sleeping with my brother a week after the wedding. I havent been able to sign the papers to make the divorce official.

Wonderful venue. We used this venue for our ceremony and reception. It was a beautiful day and the vibe of the venue received rave reviews from our guests. Ava and Jesse went above and beyond to make sure our day was smooth and as special as could be. Highly recommend!

We picked the *perfect* venue for our wedding day. It was everything we wanted and more— with the beautiful exposed brick to some industrial elements to the softer feel of the cocktail garden. It was spacious yet cozy. It’s elegant and yet rustic. This space is definitely made to mold into any vision you may have. The background in every candid or posed photo we have from that day looks so good because the space is just a beautiful one. You know you’re at a good spot when you don’t have to dress it up much. Additionally, Jessie and Ava were always so helpful! They were responsive with any question I had for them, and quickly too. They shared several helpful guides and references for me to use as I made plans. My day turned out exactly as I wanted it to and I’m thankful to them for that! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

If you have not been in this building you definitely need to check it out! It is beautiful and has old character and charm. If you are planning to book an event or just want to get out and about stop by the Hudson!

Attended a wedding dinner this evening at The Hudson in downtown Wichita. The setting was beautiful and decorated in a very classy style. It was catered by Corporate Caterers and the meal was delish.

I could not be happier that we chose the Hudson for our wedding day! They were so organized and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, and made everything go smoothly the day of-I had guests coming up to me all night complimenting how amazing the service and bussers were, and Ava was so helpful in making sure everything went perfectly from our schedule. I could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere else, it was just magical.

We stayed at one of Ava’s airbnb for our time in Wichita. She was SO helpful to us on getting everything booked. She worked with us and was very responsive to all of our questions. Her house is absolutely amazing. It wasn’t until recently we found out that she also runs the Hudson! We have nothing but great things to say about Ava and all of her businesses! Highly recommend for you event or you next stay!

Got married at The Hudson a couple of weeks ago - flawless experience. The venue is gorgeous and in a great space in downtown Wichita. Their bar service was spectacular too! Super fun personalized drinks are available to browse and try before your wedding. The staff was remarkable and made sure to meet all of our needs.

Not only is the Hudson a beautiful venue but their staff is amazing! We have had a great experience planning our wedding with the help of Emily & Shreene! Their staff has all been very kind and caring. The venue is gorgeous, clean, and offers more than meets the eye! We cannot wait to get married at the Hudson!

The Hudson venue was perfect for our event. Emily, Ava and Shreene were very accommodating for all of our pre-event questions which led to no hiccups on our day. The bartenders and security crew the night of were a pleasure to work with and kept our drinks flowing. The venue itself is beautiful from the trendy inside to the cocktail garden outside.
