Extremely fun! Staff was really nice and great at explaining what to do and how to do it. They have LMNO pizza which os amazing!

Had a great time with my sisters taking my mom out for her 60th birthday! I sucked but it was still a ton of fun and I eventually got the hang of it. Would totally recommend for a fun outing in Wichita :)

They teach you how to throw the axe safely and accurately. Soon you'll be hitting the target like a pro. The place is clean, well-organized, and the atmosphere is exciting. It's great for a night out with friends, a date, or even a party. Plus, the prices are fair for the unique experience you get. If you're up for something different and exciting, give Axe to Grind a try. It's an awesome way to have fun.

This was lots of fun! We arrived and received fantastic, hands-on instruction. This was the first time we have ever thrown axes, but I definitely want to go again!

The evening was extraordinary,the one on one attention was very helpful and informative, instilling the confidence to get the axe to stick every time.Kim's instruction of the basic fundimentals was spot on. I will be spending all of my entertainment budget throwing axes,possibly even becoming the next world champion. Watchout here comes some compitition! Why is this not an olypic sport?

E went for my birthday. Coach Tiny took a ton of time to teaching us how to throw. Drinks were reasonable and it was a ton of fun. We laughed the whole time we were there.

Axe to Grind opened their doors outside of normal operating hours to accommodate my squadron and I- over 25 of us- for our annual military resiliency day. It mean a lot and was very appreciated. Cindy single handedly took us all on (we’re not the easiest bunch to deal with) and gave us a demo of how to throw and served us all plenty of much needed alcohol. Thank you Cindy, you are an angel!!!

I had an amazing experience. I was struggling to get the axe to stick and Kimmy gave me so many pointers and took the time to help make sure I was doing the right form. She was so nice and helpful and I totally recommend going. Will be going again.

Good atmosphere. Fun thing to do. They give a talk and help you get started. I know some people worry about safety but as long as you are not in the throwing area you are safe. They have a selection of beers to buy and even have a gluten free beer you can buy.

Stuck up servers. Thought the place would be a fun time. However the rude staff made it less enjoyable with their attitudes. They have actual WATL axes for sale behind the counter however, they give you none regulation metal axes. Also no help if have a question about their own axes they sell. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

This is so fun for all ages. With our youngest at 11 and the oldest member of our group at 70, everyone had a blast!

The lady that greeted us was extremely rude. She acted like we were bothering her when we asked how to sign up as if that’s not her job. She also said some type of extreme language as we were walking out

Honestly a let down. I expected a more energetic atmosphere but was poorly mistaken. The beer is a definite must so at least you can get drunk while over paying to throw a hatchet at some hardwood planks that have been soaked with water for the past week. Do yourself a favor and bring a large group so you aren't bored in 15 minutes.

Great place to teach new throwers without any pressure. Beer selection has something for everyone. Wish I could remember the employee working cause she was great. I'll be back next time I'm visiting.
