My absolute final visit was made recently to this Hog Wild on West Street. I’ve only given this place as many chances as I’ve conjured up in recent years due to them being half way decent many years ago. However this is a rare declaration of my reviews and I am ordaining this location as the WORST BBQ in Wichita and it is to be avoided no matter how far the drive will take you for any other option. My final meal for two here was served at a temp colder than the November night we ordered it and it was topped off by a comically unprofessional staff. Previous experiences include leather tough ribs, extremely poor brisket, and the lowest class standard of customer service you will find in the city.

The BBQ dinner is the way to go if undecided. You can choose between 1-3 meats and get two sides. They fill up your plate! Staff was friendly and was willing to help out when having questions. The location was very clean and the food came out fast and fresh. Plenty of seating to choose from. Love that they have sauces at each table so you’re not fighting other people for sauces when busy. Be there early as advertised, because they do close at 8pm! Excellent menu and plenty of choose from. Nice local spot. Check them out for bbq!

Very good bbq. The rib plate was delicious.

Everything on my plate was swimming in coleslaw juice. My brisket hiding under my ribs and was also swinging in bbq sauce. There was only two bites of meat the rest was fat. The dinning room was full of smoke that burned my eyes and nose. This is the second time I have had a bad experience at this location.

It was good. I didn’t care for the hot links because they actually tasted like a cheap hot dog, and I always prefer to pull the chicken off the bone myself (the chicken was kind of dry). But everything else was good and tasted good.

The food is decent and service friendly but their prices on the menu is VERY misleading! They state their two meat dinner is $12.99 but if you actually get two meats They charge an extra dollar on top of the original price for the second piece of meat!! WHY?!!! They don't tell you that it just shows up on your bill. If you ask why they don't know either. I know it's just a dollar but it's the principle of the thing. I won't be back.

We ordered food and several things were left off... the manager that night took my info down and said they would replant it next time we wanted to come back in. So today I called and spoke with the general manager (who is apparently a co owner as well) and of course the manager did not write down my info and so we just literally paps over 30.00 for food that we never got nor was replaced as his manager told me it would be. After I get a bad experience such as this I don't care how good the food is I will not go back.

long story but after a 2 hour drive to try their BBQ, they refused to serve us what we ordered. When I threatened to leave a bad review, they literally chased me out the door and asked me to return inside so they could serve me & my son. Then the manager happily helped us. So they made it right... in a very bizarre way. But the point IS, they made it right. And the food was AMAZING. I'M GLAD I GAVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE.

Hog Wild is a fantastic BBQ spot! The smell hits you as soon as you walk in, and the food is top-notch. The brisket, ribs, and pulled pork are so tender and flavorful – it's like a taste explosion. They've got these secret sauces that take things to the next level with a mix of tangy and sweet. The place has a cool vibe that adds to the whole experience. The staff is super friendly, and you get plenty of food for your buck. Whether you're chowing down alone or with friends, Hog Wild is the go-to for awesome BBQ that'll leave your taste buds happy!

Food is always great and normally would give 5 stars, BUUUTT, supposedly patrons are given a "discount" for ordering online, but there is a $1.50 "convenience fee" for each meal ordered?! What's this for?! It basically brings the price back to the original menu price!! What sense does that make?!?! What a ridiculous trick! We love the food and have eaten there regularly, but unfortunately, we won't be patronizing Hog Wild anymore..

Normally decent food. Today the only moist items were the baked beans and Cole slaw. Meat was terribly dry. Nasty! Tater Skins sucked. Potatoes were still crunchy. Not sure if I will go back. Hot links? Not sure what they are. But definitely not a genuine hot link.

Went through the drive-in and it was wrapped around the building. So let me tell you the staff and management at this location are true go getters. It took 15min to get my order but there was 6 vehicles in front of me . Way to hustle guys & gals . Thanks for the great pulled pork and tater salad

I can say from working in the kitchen here that food is the best right next to rock road. Part of the reason in my opinion is the smokers are so old and seasoned making the meat insanely delicious. The crew is also solid, James and Terry are great leaders

I started going here a few years ago. I work for Textron and this location has done a great job of catering several events for me. The team has always been very courteous and professional. I always ask to speak to the manager Terry when placing orders. He is always excited for my business and he is very personable. If Hog Wild had a breakfast I would double the business I do with them. Keep up the great work.

Ordered food for 70 at our convention and these guys outdid themselves. People were coming back for seconds and there was still enough for those that wanted to take some home. We had pulled pork and pulled chicken, not one complaint. Everyone has complimented us on the choice of caterers. There are many choices when it comes to BBQ in Wichita, but you cannot go wrong with these folks, they know what they are doing and they do it very well indeed!

Just got home from eating here this evening (10.30.21). The crew working tonight rocked it! Hog Wild is always good, tonight was way better than usual. The fries were the best I've ever had from there. They were thoroughly cooked AND hot . . . they are not always that way. Good job tonight for the crew working around 5:30pm!

I had a 2 meat combo with Mac & cheese and side salad. I am from Florida that being said. I thought the pulled pork and the ribs were great! The turkey though was dried out and actually tasted old. The salad was good ,Cole slaw, toast was toasted good. Overall was a good dinner just do not recommend turkey at all.
