It was a pleasant surprise, it's open Tues-Fri 1pm-5pm, I think 10am-2pm Sat but not positive about that. There are a Lot of interesting tanks, my mom and I enjoyed it and we're not military history fans. It doesn't take long to see and it's free, donations appreciated. The outside is not pretty but it's bigger on the inside. It was a pleasant 30 min or so.

Impressive collection of armor! in Wichita! Sounds like the owner is getting more, too. Hopefully we can see the armor in action sometime in the future? But anyways, if you haven't been to this museum yet, GO! It's free (donations requested), so there's no excuse to see this amazing collection.

If you have a little boy in your life, bring them here. Bring a man of any age, and they will be a boy again while they tour this place. This is an amazing collection of tanks and a unique way to preserve an important piece of history. Well worth your time. Be sure to make a generous donation so this can continue to be open to the public for free.

Amazing place with a large amount of tanks, many on loan from Europe. Definitely worth checking out, is a hidden gem in Wichita that many people don't know about. Free admission with a donation recommended

Very nice museum in Wichita. Interesting selection of British and German armor. I was surprised by the condition of tanks, most of them looks like they are in working order.

House of tanks is an absolutely awesome place to visit if you like tanks or have kids that like them. Best part is it's FREE but definitely make a donation so they can keep the doors open! Hidden gem without a doubt!! *Note* It isn't air conditioned so if you're older or younger and can't do the heat, go in the spring or fall. But definitely worth going!

So disappointed, we went during posted business hours and they never opened. Showed up at 9a on a Thursday and waited over 20 minutes but it never opened. Couldn't even call and verify their opening bc there is no number to call.

Cool place. Would have liked it better if we could have sat in one of the tanks.

If you like WW1-2 tanks, this is a must. Small walk through. Free to enter, they do except donations in a box.
