The Derby Dutch Bros, just south of 63rd on Rock. A coffee and beverage stop with a strange and limited setup at its kiosk. No real menu board with the full selection of drinks, no drive thru speaker to take orders and get the line moving, and I still don’t know if they have any other size but medium because they don’t ask and just give you the size they choose by default. The high energy push of spunk in the service might work better if Dutch Bros were a more efficient business. The saving grace of this place is that the drinks are good and this location is isolated from other businesses making it the most accessible of any shop of its kind in the area. I could recommend a visit for a high quality drink if you can deal with the several annoyances of ordering.

Stopped by today to get a Golden Eagle Freeze it was on point. The guy taking orders recommended the soft top over the whip cream and it was pretty good. Took 5 minutes with 4 cars in front of me. That is reasonable to me. Most of that time was one customer chatting up the staff. I can see if you get 10-15 cars in line with a few of those type customers it could be a wait. Other than that the line moved quickly.

This was my very first trip to a Dutch Brothers establishment. I pulled in the line. There were a couple specials advertised on a board, so we pulled further a little more, and seasonal specials were advertised on a board, but no menu was in sight. I therefore pulled up near the window, and a young woman came out and asked what she could get started for us. I asked for a menu, to which she replied they did not have a full menu, but did have a pocket menu available. I said I would be happy to look at that, however she did not understand that I wanted to look at the menu before ordering, so I went ahead and just got a coffee. At the window, she could not remember the order she had just taken, and handed me a pocket menu in Spanish, which is no good for an Anglo who doesn't read Spanish. The area around the drive up window was somewhat dirty, especially for a new establishment. On the whole, I would describe this visit with one word: "Bewilderment!" How can you not have a menu available to a first-time customer?!

This was our 1st time here. Staff was friendly and drinks were delicious. Wasn't sure what to get so they ask what flavors I like and recommended a drink. Taste your drink before you leave, if you don't like it they will make you something else. It's drive through or walk up window only.

Dutch Bros has a chill laid back. Not only are the drinks delish, but the Broistas truly want to be a bright spot in your day. All off the coffee drinks are good but if you're not into coffee I highly recommend the lemonades, teas or sodas. There are so many flavors to choose from but my favorite is what I call The Levi (created by Levi for his momacita!) a Rocky Point Lemonade Cut with Soda & Strawberry real fruit. Order it extra sweet or leave out the strawberries... whatever your preference. Anyway you have it will be yummy!

Dutch Bros is definitely one of the better coffee chains. I love the friendly customer service, smiling and kind baristas. I usually park and walk up since most everyone else does the drive through. I can park and get my order faster if the drive through is busy! The prices are much more competitive than another well-known national chain. The seasonal stickers and app badges and quick-building rewards are a fun bonus as well!

I write this as I’m stuck in the drive thru line, with no way out. If I hadn’t already paid with my card, I’d just throw caution to the wind and jump the curb. I’ve been here at least 4 times since they opened and I have regretted it Every. Single. Time. There were maybe 6 cars in front of me when I got here and I’ve been here 25 minutes now. This has been my experience every time. I will not be coming back here. TLDR: coffee is mediocre at best and the service is 0/10.

Love Dutch brothers but this location isn’t it. Absolutely the slowest Dutch brothers location I have ever been to. Workers were very friendly and unsure if they were understaffed or what but need to get this location figured out. Waited 40 minutes for two drinks 😭

Look, I’ve been to many different Dutch Bros locations and I’ve never had any issues. We’ve always had AMAZING service. Except with this one in particular. The workers were very nice but I’ve never had to wait THIS LONG for some coffee. We waited about 23min for two drinks and two cars after ours had gotten their orders before us. Really disappointed about the situation. Like I said, workers were nice but the speediness wasn’t there.

I never leave reviews but I had to stop and say that the younger lady that was at the window deserves a raise. She kept a conversation going by asking the perfect question, if I had anything big going on today, as a matter fact I do!! She just made my day, thanks for the friendly conversation!!

We love the Dutch Bros in Derby, KS. Have been several times since they opened and have enjoyed the drinks each time and the friendly staff. We were the last customers through last night, 6/11/2023, and the team closing were super friendly, energetic, and our interaction with them made us feel even better. Management and the company should feel proud of this team because they are awesome. Keep up the good work!! And for anyone complaining about the amount of time you may wait, please understand this is a new location and a new brand to this area, so you are going to wait because everyone wants to try them. Please have patience.
