We used to love our neighborhood Applebees. The food has really gone downhill. My daughter's chicken was so dry she couldn't even swallow it and the manager acted like I was an inconvenience for sending it back.

My family & I love Applebee's because they have great food & the prices are reasonable. I ordered carside to go online & the ordering process was really simple & easy. Our food was ready for pick-up after only 25 minutes of submitting the order online. Which I thought was really quick, especially since we ordered 4 entrees & 2 appetizers. I only gave Applebee's 4 stars because I found the wait staff to be rude & they looked upset that they had to work. That being said, I would definitely recommend this Applebee's for carside to go because my online order was made fast & the food was great!

Service was good. Food was poor. Steak was tough and baked potato was rotten.

Went during the lunch shift and evening shift within 3 days of each visit. While the lunch order was incorrect, the food was tasty and it was an easy mistake. The evening shift was a mess all over the place with many tables around us. Food was not "hot" and not tasty. Currently would recommend the lunch hours. Management was friendly and helpful during the day. Evening shift was much more relaxed staff in slouchy waisted pants, slow service and new people who needed assistance with larger tables.

We go to the location of the Applebee's on 21st St and Maize Rd. The restaurant is always clean and orderly, great food, etc. The wait staff are always friendly and efficient. Can't say enough about this place to eat and fraternize with friends or family. Two thumbs up. 👍👍

We were sat and then it took 10minutes for us to be greeted by someone. The server was informal and unprofessional when taking our orders. Eventually they switched servers. It took a noticable while for us to get our food. One of us didn't get the correct meal. And it took the server a while to bring us refills and the check. The check ended up being slightly incorrect. Didn't have any mints as we walked out. Now with all that being said, they were friendly.

After a long night tonight of Christmas shopping and dealing with crowds of people, we decided to came in for the 9-close Happy hour.... Or sorry bartender rudely corrected us, which is the only time she talked to us...it's Late night hour!! Really!!!! Was that necessary! Have been in at least 4-5 in the last 30 days....have always had great service at the bar. But tonight , no excuse for being that rude, if your having a bad day, leave it at home!!! When told the male manager all he said is, "Sorry , she losing her voice" I replied, "How about her smile"...really!!! He said again, "I'm sorry" What kind of manager is he??? He must be new , that is the only thing we could think. Because that was just as bad as her attitude...meaningless , so we would rather spend our money on some place who cares on how we feel. We could tell that manager has no power there, making excuses for bad service...REALLY?? Not one time did he ask "What can I do to fix it? " Didn't want anything, just to know someone cared. Instead he hung out at the corner table with employees and customers watching the game??? Servers we're nicer and more helpful than either the bartender or manager. The bartender didn't need to be there being that sick and with that attitude. We regretted spending our hard earned money there with a place that was so rude. We feel bad, because Rhonda the other bartender is, AWESOME! But after tonight, don't know if we ever go back! Tell tonight's bartender, sorry for being such a bother. We tried to ask very little, even though we, wanted more! Maybe next time if someone is that sick, they should stay home, if your that sick. Merry Christmas

To start the manager made it right but the portion size for the soup is 6 oz there was less than 4 is in the container. The wife's soup was just warm. AGAIN the manager was responsive to our concerns an offered to give the wife a new soup. The wife just had them warm it. The manager gave me another full container of my soup. The soup is good. Service is a 5 star. Food is five star but portion size is 2 star. That'd a company issue.

We used to drive into town once a week for a late supper at this location, and were usually satisfied with the experience, but 12-14 months ago something changed. The wait staffed started bickering with each other and the food was usually overcooked. The last burger I ordered had bacon that was so burnt, it ruined the taste of the entire meal. My GF's Chicken and Shrimp has been so dry, you had to saw through it with a steak knife. W month's ago, I had to leave cash with the ticket because the bartender was too busy BS'ing with his friends who had come in to wait on us. We vowed to never go back, so we went to 6 miles farther to the Ridge RD location tonight, and the difference was amazing. New Market Square needs to get their act together.
