Wonderful patio dining venue overlooking the waterfall. Everything was clean, water served was filtered and our conversation with old friends was delightful. The server and kitchen didn't get it all right tonight. Everything was not as impressive, the salad bitter, lobster, pasta and plating cold. My favorite, the fresh handmade egg fettuccine pasta noodles were soggy and stuck together. I was disappointed for the first time... The plating was minimal to say the least, I was hoping for a lot more noodles. I'm hoping their busy Friday night rush caused the complications for the restaurant and our enjoyment in our evening. I will be back to bring others to try the hidden gem in Bradley Fair. Knowing there will be a better outcome from the kitchen.

My husband brought me to this place for our anniversary! The staff were so nice, kind and accommodating :) Since, it was our first time here, everything in the menu was explained very well. We ordered ‘calamari’ for appetizer and it was spot on! Don’t miss this out! I ordered ‘shrimp tacos’ and guys it was reallllly good! My husband got the ‘salmon blt’ and it was worth a try. The fries tasted different from any other fries , it is really good! We got 1 bottle of wine (forgot to take a picture) Aaand they gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary ❤️ Thank you Newport Grill!! We will definitely come back!

I attended a lunch party at Newport Grill on a Saturday afternoon and had top notch service! Our servers Gavin and Preston went above and beyond to cater to our every need. These guys were amazing! The meals and dessert were very yummy and flavorful. There wasn’t one complaint among the 14 ladies of our party. Thanks, guys! You made our get together a wonderful experience!

Curiously, today was my first visit to Newport Grill. It's positioned in a nook (behind the fountain, by the cul-de-sac) within Bradley Fair; therefore, it doesn't feature a prominent store-front. However, Newport Grill benefits greatly from its position facing the lake and waterfall. There is a stunning dining patio on the east side, overlooking a placid lake & a picturesque waterfall view. Most interior seating can enjoy the same view, as well, because the entire east wall of the restaurant is ceiling-to-floor glass. Definitely a Chart House kind of vibe; ambience, menu and scenery. We were there for lunch (menu attached), and the selections were widely varied and the pricing was very reasonable. Let's move this review along. The entire package was spot-on. Positively impressed! I'm encouraging you to give Newport Grill a shot. Known for their fresh seafood dishes, the menu offers plenty of variety for those non-seafood aficionados. I was impressed with every aspect and quite likely, Newport Grill will become one of my favorite go-to Wichita dining establishments. Kudos to server, Bailey, who really did a wonderful job of making our visit pleasurable.

First time at this place, food was good, service was fantastic and the atmosphere was one of my favs, we sat in front of the water, so beautiful. My personal favs were the artichoke dip, tacos and dessert, they were delicious 😋. One suggestion to restaurant- girls wear super high tight skirts which I’m usually like whatevs u do u but when the server has to pull on her skirt every 5 seconds, bends over and we can see into her soul that’s pretty gross, management should be on that. It’s a classy restaurant but that just made a bit trashy 😞 therefore making it a 4 ⭐️

We LOVE Newport Grill! Tonight was our first time to eat here and it was not just a meal, it was an *experience.* We had the pleasure of being hosted by Gavin. Gavin was VERY knowledgeable of the menu and took great care in verifying ingredients for me, as I have numerous allergies. He spoke to the chef regarding dinner and the pastry chef regarding dessert. While I stepped out, he spoke to my husband about how and where they source their food, much to my husband's delight. They do their best to buy local, noting that the beef comes from Hope, KS. Everything is fresh and the only freezer they have is for the pastries. On top of his wealth of knowledge about the menu and restaurant, he took the time to get to know us and to entertain us by folding our napkins when we stepped away. If you are looking for something new, special, delicious or want something more than your run of the mill dinner, dine at Newport Grill. You will NOT be disappointed!!

We really enjoyed our time at New Port. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the pork chops we ordered were quite dry and tough and the drinks were weak. My husband had bourbon so you could see it in the glass. I had the fun martinis and they were tasty but could tell they were very short on alcohol. We went during happy hour and the drinks were half off but probably the alcohol was as well. Still, we had a very nice time Was a nice place to go in the evening for a special time out. White linen table cloths, napkins and clear glassware made it a beautiful venue to enjoy. It was packed so noise level was really loud. Our young waiter was great. He was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and checked with us often. The appetizer of fresh ricotta and focaccia bread is excellent! We had a pumpkin bread pudding that was amazing with the vanilla ice cream on top, served very warm and yummy. Perfect dessert to a nice evening. We had 5 drinks, appetizer, 2 entree, dessert for around $169. All-in-all , it was a nice evening in spite of the disappointing pork chops. Pricey, but everything is these days. We will go again for a special occasion.

Simon was our waiter, Dan helped us also by bringing a dessert menu at one point since they were so swamped but Simon arrived with one just seconds after (good teamwork). Everything was timely, affordable, beautiful and delicious. Simon made sure our drinks stayed full and that my daughter's 14th birthday celebration was so special. We had a GREAT experience.

Went there during happy hour with a campus group. The food was delicious but a little overpriced for the quality. The atmosphere on the other hand was beautifully decorated.

I love dining at Newport! Slow and relaxed atmosphere where food IS the experience. I love that they support local farmers and fly in fresh catches too. I loved my Salmon salad. Hubby was bummed so many of his noodles were stuck together and gummy. (It happens, especially with homemade) I cannot recommend enough the fresh ricotta as an appetizer. The crisp brussels are another fav! Live music on the patio was a nice touch. Such a beautiful anniversary date!

I loved everything about this place. The food was exquisit and the ambiance is just fantastic, we went out for a casual cocktail and ended up eating just to try it out, let me tell you, you guys won't be disappointed, the food was carefully seasoned, not too much not too plain just on point, drinks were really good and aromatic and we had a great time. 100% will be back 😀

Newport Grill is a very good and established restaurant in Wichita. I have been there 5-6 times when I travelled to Wichita. Their Swordfish is very tasty. In my recent visit, I ordered Scallops and they were salty. Thier spaghetti squash is a very good tasty side. If you go there in summer, you can benefit thrir great terrace beside the lake.

It was super loud at our last visit which is unusual. We could barely hear each other talk just across the table. Their food is amazing but at our last visit we noticed portion sizes have gotten smaller and they changed to a different distributor for calamari and it is disgusting to put it lightly. They used to have wonderful calamari so it was a disappointment. Steak is always good here. Chicken Alfredo is great. Cocktails are very hit or miss but that could be because they're too complex for my palette! Service is usually good although we waited for our check for a while last time and ran out of water for a while as well. I think it was just a fluke because normally it's a nice dinner here. They were very overcrowded our last visit. I would still recommend this place though because the food is usually really good here.

Pictured are the crab cakes and steak tartare! The best time to go here is during their happy hour! The patio is lovely when the weather is nice outside! This is the best service you’ll get in town as well!

Great atmosphere and also great food! The bread with the salted butter is absolutely addictive! This is a great local restaurant! Great outside seating! Crabcakes and pear salad are my summer time favorites :)

Always great food and great service. When the weather is nice, their outdoor seating is a wonderful spot to eat. They have rotating options seasonally and their seafood is always fresh and cooked perfectly. They also have a bunch of unique menu items I wouldn't have ever thought of pairing that turned out wonderfully. Pic posted is their crème brûlée, which is sooooo yummy. Pricey menu but you get what you pay for 110%

First time visiting Wichita and randomly selected to eat at Newport Grill. I started with a Dirty Diamond cocktail and it was delicious. Smooth kinda sweet and refreshing. The bread and butter was bomb and my Wallo fish was prepared perfectly. The staff was very attentive and friendly. After a long day on a business trip the vibe was perfect. The view of the park and waterfall didn’t suck either. I recommend this place for sure.

The service was excellent, the portions reasonable. However the maitre d and hostess are in need of customer service training. My friend suffers from severe shellfish allergies. We asked to moved away from the kitchen and she told us that the area was reserved. Upon sitting, my friend began to smell shrimp. She went back to the maitre d and the hostess and asked to please sit us outside. They were annoyed by her request, but finally sat us outside.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. This lighting is especially nice. I hope to come back for their summer concert series they have.
