The Prime Rib was amazing! Especially with the rub. You have to order the steak popper appetizer, it was so good! No complaints here. We will definitely go back. Our waiter Kym was nice and very helpful with the menu. Featured in the photo is mashed potatoes, lobster Mac and cheese, and 2 prime ribs (12oz= $42, 16oz= $50).

One of THE best places in Wichita for a more upscale dining experience. The wait staff is incredible, and the food is on point.

Between family, lunch, business, and date nights I’ve been coming to the Scotch for about 20 years and dozens of meals. After an incredibly poor dinner experience following several mediocre lunch experiences I’m posting my feedback in the hopes that it will drive improvement to this Wichita icon. My wife and I attended for our 20th anniversary, which was briefly recognized by the hostess but never by our waitress Malady who was indifferent at best during our service. I started with a Tank 7 and my wife with a Cosmo, both of which were good. Appetizers were Blue Point oysters in the half shell, tasty but overpriced by even midwestern standards. Bread and butter was offered several times but never appeared on our table for the meal. I ordered a blackened halibut with shrimp special with a side Caesar salad. The salad resembled what you would find in a grocery store salad mix, the fish was small and overcooked with no sign of being blackened, and the shrimp was overcooked. Very disappointing for $50. My wife ordered the prime rib medium rare, in theory a Scotch specialty. What she received was something well beyond well done, cooked to a battleship gray inside and out. While I choked down my overcooked fish my wife sent back the prime rib, and the waitress stated “they all look that way”. After spending well over $100 for an incomplete meal and terrible service we went to a bar and grille called Social Tap which provided us better food, service, and pricing. While I’m rooting for the Scotch to make a return to glory, I’ll be taking my money elsewhere next time.

The staff were friendly but the food was subpar. If you're planning on spending big on a nice dinner, look elsewhere. They do steak just fine, but everything else we had (salmon, three cocktails, crab cakes, oysters) left a lot to be desired. Also, when a server asks you what salad you want with that menu item, the price of said salad is usually assumed to be a part of the dish.... not the case here. Also, cocktails: if you want $10-15 per cocktail, they better be excellent and these were not. The Irish coffee we ordered had what appeared to be Cool Whip as the whipped cream of choice (lumpy, sticky, devoid of taste). For $9, I can go buy three tubs of Cool Whip and have a real party. Again, staff were great. Experience was nice. Good food and beverage are the hallmarks of a great restaurant, though, and these elements were not great.

For a restaurant with such a prestigious reputation I felt nothing but the money draining from my wallet as I ate food that should've been worth half the advertised price. The staff was nice, but the hour and a half long wait for our food was not, but I don't believe that to be a fault of the restaurant but rather the volume of people there. Anyway, the food is absolutely not worth the exorbitant prices, the only stand out thing about it is the quantity of food. You'll get a good amount of food, but it will not prove itself to be worth coming back for, unless you're eating for your ego instead of your hunger.

The other night my family and I came into eat, and it was an absolutely amazing time. So, I wanted to share it on google for everyone to see it. My whole family can not stop raven about what a wonderful time it was. We all were impressed with our awesome waitress Ashleigh! She made our experience one of a kind with her bubbly personality, her welcoming and sparkling smile!! She made us feel like we were her most important and only table. My family was able to bring my elderly dad out with us. Ashleigh was so incredible she help make my dad’s night one he will not forget with her fun and entertaining approach she took with him and I. We saw my dad do something we have not seen in yours the smiles let alone laugh as much she helped us bring to him!!! We could tell that Ashleigh is very knowledgeable about the drinks, food, and menu. She helped us pick out great drinks and food. Which were brought out in a timely manner and tasted delicious. Ashleigh, continued checking on us regularly making sure everything was perfect. We will sure be telling the rest of our family and friends about our experience. We will be returning soon hopefully on a night when Ashleigh is working!!

Scotch & Sirloin always exceeds our expectations. Whether we're stopping in for a nightcap and dessert or a full meal. Last night I had the Laurie cut prime rib. Probably the best prime rib I have eaten lately. Service has always been excellent. A special place for us.

Nice new parking lot. The outside of the building has been redone and is no longer the dated exterior it used to be. This also holds true for the inside of the Scotch, an indoor wine display in modern flooring along with lighter colored decor then the original, It definitely looks better. Service was impeccable. The table settings were beautiful. You are definitely paying for the experience of dining here. Food was okay, my filet was tender, however slightly overcooked, Not enough that I wouldn't eat it, and I definitely did not want to wait for a new steak. The mashed potatoes represented in a beautiful display, I could tell these have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, as the outside portion of the potatoes was warm to the taste. However a deeper bite inside resulted in cool, rather than warm mashed potatoes. This is one of those Wichita landmarks that everyone visits when celebrating something.

The Scotch will always be one of my Wichita favorites. This incredible restaurant catered for my wedding a couple of weeks ago and they knocked it out of the park! The food was fresh and delicious. All of my wedding guests (roughly 200 people) were served buffet style in 15 minutes. Amazing! Thank you Scotch & Sirloin for delivering a fantastic experience.

Hadn't been to the Scotch for years. Driving by on Kellogg the other day, it was lunchtime, wife and teen daughter were hungry, so "Why not?" Well decorated, upscale, linen tablecloths and napkins. Service was prompt, and prices were within reason. Very quiet, somewhat reserved vibe. Great spot for a business lunch, where privacy is needed. Ok - my wife had a Caesar, which was pretty run of the mill. Daughter had the Chicken Kabob and she loved it. I had the Rueben, and it was unremarkable - certainly have had better. In sum, the ambiance and service probably was the lunch highlight. Recommended, but based on our experience, the food was a bit underwhelming.

Has to be hands down the best steakhouse in Wichita. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, we also had appetizers and drinks they were perfect. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a Great Steak in Wichita.

I got the filet, potatoes, and lobster mac & cheese, everything was seasoned to perfection. Even the presentation was spot on. The flavor was there, but the potatoes were cold and the filet was room temperature, luckily the asparagus was perfect. We also had to bug our waitress for refills multiple times and they were not busy. Unfortunately, I cannot say it was worth the price, but the beautiful interior made for a nice experience.

We loved this place!! Fancy date night so we treated ourselves to beef carpaccio and the shellfish bouquet. Yum! Split a prime rib. Opted for the 2 Caesar salads and some creamed corn brulee. Delicious. Aubrey was our server, so sweet and knowledgeable. Loved how well the whole team worked together. Looking forward to coming back here again!!

Everything tasted great! The only downfall for me here is the amount of time it took to get our food and the transitional interactions between the table and staff. It didn’t flow well and we were left waiting for long periods of time in between ordering, receiving, and checking out.

Very beautiful, high class, quiet environment. Everything was great, there was someone at the bar yelling when I walked in who clearly had to much to drink. You would’ve thought they would had removed him but hey. Otherwise the waitresses were nice & knowledgeable of specials etc. I had calamari for my appetizer personally didn’t enjoy it. It’s one of my favorite foods so I’m picky on how it’s cooked. My lamp chops were $45 for only 2 but hey I did say high class. Which the price is fine but they contained a lot of fat so in all I really only had 1 whole lamp chop after removing all the cooked fat. They also are limited on red wines. Which was disappointing. They only had 1 sweet red wine & it was bitter. Too fancy of a place to not have better wine selections.

Dad & Daughters date night. Food was delicious, servings were plenty, take home boxes were needed because we had to save room for dessert. The Creme Brûlée was up there with the beat I have had. Cost was an arm & a leg, but you get what you pay for.

My husband and I drove 30 miles to have a nice birthday lunch for me someplace we had never been. Though we had both been to S&S it was at least 25 years ago. Love the interior and I really wanted to love this place but sadly can not. We were there early for lunch 11:30 so not very busy. I had heard the French onion soup was very good. It may have been if it was hot. The broth was lukewarm and the cheese had turned from what is supposed to be a melt to a cut with a knife glob. We had onion rings for an appetizer, again just barely warm and had a slight fishy under taste. My husband ordered a chopped steak med. rare, it came out well done and dry. All of this torturous meal took almost 2 hours to be served. I can forgive bad service or bad food but not bad service AND bad food. I told the waitress that the food was not hot and the kitchen needs to be informed. I'm given more than a 1 star only because the food could have been really good if it was 1. Hot and 2. served in a timely manner.

We ordered the steak poppers, calamari, jumbo shrimp cocktail, mimosas, french onion soup and a french dip sandwhich. Was a fairly decent lunch. Unfortunately the jumbo shrimp appetizer was inedible.

This locally owned restaurant is so beautiful. The colors, ambiance, excellent food and service never disappoint. Start at the cocktail bar first and enjoy your favorite cocktail before dinner. I’ve had their ribeye steak several times but being on a special diet I selected the Swordfish special. Wow, I’ve never had a better tasting and we’ll presented fish dish. The fish was so light and firm with special seasonings and no heavy sauces giving a rich taste but low fat content (well that piece of delicious bacon on top was consumed) and the roasted veggies scattered across the plate. I can’t wait to try to recreate the roasted vegetables on my grill. I’ve got to find out what the chef used on them.

Was in town with a fellow work.ate for a training convention. We decided it was steak night. Found this place on Google. It was excellent. Great service, atmosphere and food. Steak was perfect. The drink selection is a book, Great selection. I had an old fashion made with George Dickle , it was outstanding. They even have a humidor and a smoking patio. Of you are in Wichita and are a steak kind of person, do not miss Scotch & Sirloin.

Thru have ruined prime rib for me, I've never had one anywhere close to this good & seriously doubt anywhere else will be able to come close! Done goes for their french onion soup, both dishes are an absolute MUST.

My brother took me there for the first. He had been bragging about this place for days. Everything he said was right on point about everything!!! This place is to die for!!! This place was really nice, clean and the service was excellent. We had steak poppers and onion rings both of which were excellent. We had the 16 ounce Laura cut prime rib and it was huge and cooked to perfection. If your in Witchita and don't stop here to eat you are missing out on the best prime ribs and appetizers I have ever eaten.

Best meal I’ve ever had! Absolutely have to eat here. The most tender and perfectly cooked prime rib ever. The ang team (the waitress) were amazing as well! This place is a goldmine! Might come back again tomorrow:)

I've loved each visit and dish I've had here. Drinks are well made and timely. The staff is attentive, cooking staff its damn near perfect at cooking the perfect steak. The desserts are spot on and my favorite is the carrot cake. The hostess do not give you a fake welcome or smile, they honestly make you feel good and welcomed. Overall, want a perfect steak and drink, come here and I'd recommend making a reservation. We will be back. PSA: be prepared for a nice bill but its worth every dollar.

We went on a Tuesday night, myself, my daughter and Grandson. We were expecting a fabulous night of great steak, shrimp and cocktails. We were very disappointed. First off, all 3 of our steaks were waaay under what we ordered. I had to send my Grandsons and mine back. Mind you, we eat our steak medium rare. These weren't even close. They didn't have much flavor either and we each got a different cut, they all tasted the same. Second, I asked for no bacon on my potato. I got bacon. They did apologize and brought a new one with no bacon and told me to keep the first one. Third, the shrimp. "Sea Hogs" rubbery, chewy didn't taste good at all. The sauce was good, not the shrimp. Our waitress was very apologetic and did take the shrimp off of our bill. This does NOT reflect the service that we had. It was fantastic. It was just the food. Scotch and Sirloin has always had great food and this was absolutely not up to the standards that I expect of Scotch and Sirloin. Especially for the amount of money I paid for our meal.

Wonderful meal and wonderful experience. We were in town for a work conference and were taken there for dinner. The owner educated us on wine and wine glasses. The wine, prime rib, and peanut butter pie were especially amazing. The decor was very stylish and beautiful. I would definitely return if back in Wichita.

WOW! My wife and I have lived in Wichita for 16 years and never dined here, until last night. We were celebrating our 20 anniversary and I made a reservation online. Well, our plans changed a bit, so I stopped in to see if I could bump our time back, an hour. The taller guy at the front door was an absolute professional and made me feel as if I was a regular. He even took me inside the dining area and asked where I wanted to sit. This may not seem big, but it made me feel important. When we arrived for our reservation, we were a tad early, but the same guy remembered me and also made sure to congratulate us on our 20 years of marriage. Our waitress was Kimberlee and she was extremely helpful! Once she knew it was our first time, she took her time in telling us all about the menu and how the meat is cooked. I had the Prime Rib, which was AMAZING, and my wife had…oh…shoot I can’t remember the name, but it was delicious! For desert, they made this fresh molten chocolate cake and WOW!!! The environment is quiet, lots of regulars, and my wife and I were able to converse without any loud distractions. We will definitely be back. Now, it is a little pricey, but you definitely get a lot of food for the price. But again, we’ll be back on some more future special occasions.
