We both had a grilled chicken wrap special that was very tasty. Our server was attentive and friendly.

Really enjoyable lunch! The Reuben was really good. The guacamole and chips were fresh and tasty! Good service and nice atmosphere.

Merle’s is the only place that hasn’t changed due to COVID as far as skimping on meats, size of the meal, prices and service. All still the same great taste!

Let me tell you, if you want a great sandwich with some cold beer. Merle's is definitely the place. Plus, I had a cup of chili. Going forward, I will come here for chili. Absolutely Awesome Chili. Great place to relax and enjoy a great meal.

Went in for a few beers,been atleast 30 years Since I've been in there hasn't changed a bit.

Super friendly staff, hole in the wall kinda place, forgot my physical card and they didn't accept digital card but they gave me a free beer anyway!

Merle’s hold the special place my heart, is the first place I ever met my late wife, about 30 years ago. When I did drink, it was my go to place. But actually, I have not been in there in about seven years. That’s when I quit drinking.

Whoa. I thought it would be a cool dive for 2 tourists from Texas to chill in... boy was I wrong. Our bartendress' rude attitude turned us off pretty quickly. My drink tasted disgusting (forget the fact that she grabbed the olives with her bare fingers) & she never offered a menu, so who knows how the food tastes? It was funny to watch her cheerful disposition towards every individual who walked thru the door. Sure hope it wasn't my color. Wrong color, wrong bar. Wasn't bad food, kinda need more than mediocre though, seriously limited menu is also not impressive.

Love the old decor. I love there food. I tried their sweet chicken salad for the first time. I have said this is my new favorite sandwich now. Loved it. If you have not try Merle's you need to go.

Sandwich was good but my kids had to act up nothing like getting off work to wanna go back would have had a drink but no strawberry daiquiri . So beer makes me sick so only had tea. Since I won't drink coke and allergic to lemonade and sprite... yes anymore im hard to please sorry too many allergies I know... potatoes salad was good and Sandwich #13 and the 2 bites I had of sons enchilada . And the child who never eats ate for once....glad for that...food was great. Kids thought they couldn't go in a bar it was a bit funny... good dinner minus kids outburts...which I handled. Trying to get them to mind in public is aging me alot... love em but it's hard they still getting used to me working part time . Waitress was good.

Food was good, terrible service, had to get up and ask for a refill, silverware, and a box, server barely came over, no pre busing, literally no service other than our first drinks and taking our orders. Won’t be returning

I love this kind of place. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Wichita, so worth visiting to check out. It's a fairly dark, tavern style bar, but with booths along one wall, tables in the middle and long bar for I'm guessing people stopping in for just a drink or regulars. The food is simple: sandwiches (many clever options and also build-your-own), chips or pasta salad, soups and enchiladas. They offer many options for bread, guessing from Delano bakery. Food is fresh and served fast. Also, there are pool tables in another room...

I gave it a 5 because the twins today were awesome! The chips and queso was horrible. The cheese enchilada was pretty good, You could definitely tell It was heated in the microwave too long, tortilla got hard on the edges.

If you've never been to Merle's you've got to go at least once. Great bar, food is great. Employees fun and friendly.

For a good hot sandwich on cold day. If I wasn't working i definitely would've grabbed a drink too. It's worth every penny and much appreciated. Will return

Merle's has many kinds of great sandwiches. There are plenty of screens to watch sports on and a great bar with friendly and helpful staff.

Slightly above average sandwiches and soups. Good with the beer, also sell liquor. Bar has a good atmosphere and decor, but lacking something. Sad as it was the place to go 20 to 25 years ago. Recommend the place and will always go back, just not first on the list these days.
