This atmosphere is definitely what you make it. They are a small establishment with great food, Wednesday Appetizer Day is my favorite! 2 for $6.50. They offer both Pepsi and Coke products for beverages! If you love an outside experience, then check out the patio!

I just walked in this nice establishment and am amazed already, nice atmosphere, good looking bartender and waitress, I order the Timbuktu original I'm waiting on it and I'll let you know in my review after I eat. WoW 😳 and WoW yes 110% would I recommend this place I know I'm definitely coming back.

I've been coming to Timbuktu for a couple decades now. Listen up, when you are ready for a greasy cheeseburger and great onion rings, come here! I think they still have that cash only policy so subtract the fifth star. Bitcoin definitely not accepted here, lol. Good people, good service and gut bustin' burgers.

We went for appitizers and beer. Ordered 6 appitizers all were spot on. We enjoyed our time there. And I have had their hamburgers in the past and they are very tasty . Nice little Bar/grill to stop in . Friendly server. Will be back soon.

I remember going when I was younger and walking away feeling like we got a great meal. Tonight was not the same feeling. We ordered burgers and a pizza. The pizza was definitely a frozen pizza from a store, which is not what we expected. The burger was good but the grilled onions were less than desirable as I could not eat through them, so had to pull off the burger. The fries were ok if you enjoy crinkle cut fries. They handled our party well and food came out quickly. Cash or check only.

This is a very good cheese burger with with 1 lb of meat (Very good but messy). Also this place doesn't take credit or debit cards so you need to bring the cash.. good place to eat. Kind of had that dive bar feel.

This is a dive bar with great food and a very low price. We just stopped on our way through town. The food took a bit longer than expected to come out but there was 6 people in our group and I am sure their friends are kitchen is not huge.

The beer is cold and the burgers are great at Timbuktu Bar & Grill! The service is also top notch, Diane was friendly, attentive and entertaining.

The food was great! We ordered a mixture of burgers and chicken sandwiches. Among the group, we all enjoyed our meals. It was basic bar food but done well. I gave 3 stars for the food but lost the other 2 on service and the cash only policy. The staff seemed to have our table on the "back burner" and didn't seem too in a rush to take our order or notice us at all after the order was taken. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, despite there not being many tables filled. If you're looking for good food, add this place to your list but expect a potentially long wait and bring cash or pay the fee for the on-site ATM.

This is a dive bar if there ever was one. But, it's a classic. Been here forever and the burgers are amazing. Grab a beer and burger and watch the game. Don't overthink it and let Timbuktu pull you in.

Went with a friend and had a couple of the 2 for $9 appetizers. Enjoyed the food and the pit hers of beer. The waitresses were very friendly.

Small bar and grill, with excellent burgers. There is definitely nothing fancy about the atmosphere, and we enjoyed that thoroughly! Bring cash!

Over price and didn't know it was cash only fries are not homemade cold in the center. A good hamburgers would have lettuce and tomatoes. I rather go to T Js then to this place again

The burger and waffle fries that I ordered were delicious! This little restaurant and bar has amazing food and a great atmosphere with pretty darn good service! I plan to go back to eat more of their burgers! No wonder they are ranked as one of the best places to get a burger in the Wichita area!

Everything was great, friendly staff and big portions of yummy fries. Fried onions were a tad over, but frier probably got too hot.

I shared an afternoon with a great friend here last week. This friend I met 40 + years ago. Lois, her name, and I have stayed in contact over the years. Not as well as we could've, should've; but the fact is we just are, still friends. We came to Timbuktu because it's a bar we both remember coming to years ago. I have to say; it's still the same after all these years. The gal tending bar (I am SO SORRY) I don't remember her name. But she is great. They've got a pool table in there, a video game or three. The ambiance is awesome. Your typical 'hole in the wall' .... I can't explain what you'll see in this place; but besides the inside, check out the outside (on the patio) as well. There's quite the view there too. The arangatang is PERFECT for taking pictures with your forever BEST friend. Thank you Timbuktu and THANK YOU Lois for hanging out with me for the afternoon at our favorite bar in our favorite new hang out! We will be back!
