The bartenders are super nice don't be fooled, they hold their own.😉They have good prices on beers, daily drink special. Jukebox all night, No karaoke which I like. It's small but good, they have a shuffle board & 1 pool table. They are open til 2am last time I checked.

Chill atmosphere, cheap drinks, quality tacky decor that makes it feel homey and festive. A regular came to us and invited us to their potluck style crawfish boil the next day. Really nice people.

This is one of Wichitas hidden secrets!! Family owned for almost 30 years. Fair prices for fair drinks. Don't think you're going to mess with the bartenders because they won't put up with it and neither will the regular customers. Free shuffleboard with plenty of competition

Hung out with Doug and his wife on his birthday. He's a really good guy and I had a good time. Doug's Place has a really good atmosphere. The watress was friendly and attentive and the people seemed friendly. I recommend anybody go and check it out.

Too small... Pool table is shoved in the back but not enough clearance to play a good game anyway and last but not least, it's used as the food buffet when they have potluck gatherings

Great atmosphere, shuffleboard, and cold beer

We told google to take us somewhere we'd never been and we ended up at Doug's. Doug's place is a hole in the wall dive bar. Inside is exactly what you'd expect by looking at the outside. Lil' Deb, a regular there, was very kind and made us feel welcome. The bartender was polite and made sure we had what we needed. Smoking is allowed inside here, but it didn't bother us. Overall, Google took us somewhere we never been, but not somewhere we'd never go back.

So, went there to play a game of shuffleboard, hang out with my dad. Go in, small hole in the wall bar which is always fine. Liked the set up of the table, reminded me of the shamrock. (And for anyone looking to play shuffleboard, I would recommend Shamrock Lounge!!!!) Anyway, go to play...play one end, go to play the other end....my dad throws literally a maybe teaspoon of salt from the gutter onto the table and next thing I know...the waitress comes over in what appears to be a methed out breakdown, screaming at my dad how he has no right to do that and keeps screaming and carrying on at him. Ok, so, any place I have played, new game...clean and resalt the table for each game....no one was playing when we got there, in my eyes, we could have asked them to clean and resale the table since it was a new game. Why she was screaming is literally beyond me....skip this dive. If I could have given 0 stars or negative stars for service, I would have. The patrons seemed cool though.
