The staff is friendly and the food is alright. Nothing too exceptional, but a good atmosphere. They’ve got local newspapers and catalogs in the entryway, which is a nice way to catch up on what’s happening in the community, and something I really appreciate. Overall we enjoyed our experience here and I recommend checking it out. I will add that they do have great quality meat, which they source locally from Yoder Meats. It’s so delicious 🤤. A side note, I must add, don’t get the nachos. They were very strange and not so great.

Excellent sports bar with a very large screen TV. Food and service was great.

I'm only giving 4 stars because I feel like I need to go one more time just to make sure it's as perfect the second time we go to give it 5. The food was amazing!! I had the catfish with fries and slaw and the man had their bone-in wings wign Franks Red Hot. Delicious! The service was great. The drinks were fanominal. My only complaint is the music was WAY too loud.

Great food, good atmosphere too. Been coming here for a few years now, and have always enjoyed my time. Very patriotic. They aren't obsessed with being politically correct. They love America, and proud of it. They will get my business anytime I'm hungry (or thirsty) in Derby.

Went here for the first time yesterday- we were seated after about 5 minutes of waiting. The server was kind at first and very quick to welcome us, their menu contains the classics. I got fish and chips with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies instead of fries and coleslaw. The fish is not fresh and it’s 90% batter. The mashed potatoes are literally boxed potato mix and the mixed veggies are frozen veggie mix. Super disappointing. My SO got country fried steak, their corn is frozen, steak was dry and freezer burnt, mashed potatoes were same as mine.. if you want to save yourself money you could go to Walmart and get the same frozen foods they used for way less. Waste of money, went to Chick-fil-A after since Madrocks food was not edible.

Went Wednesday night & they were a little busy but not crazy. We stood at the host booth for about 10 minutes when a waitress told the two of us she would find the host. The host showed up a few minutes later & rudely said there is a 45 minute wait. She said the kitchen was backed up on orders & they are short staffed. Seems to be the norm these days. My norm is to stear clear of these places because, after working all day, I don't care to stand around for an hour on a weekday just to eat a burger! Food is pretty good & they have a decent selection but so was Rib Crib without any wait.

We came in this past Saturday for my dad's birthday. The waitress was really sweet and always tentative. We had kids playing the games and stuff and she was always happy to get them quarters. She did amazing. The only downside was the kids went to the bartender one time and asked for some quarters and she responded with "ugh, again" it made the kids feel uncomfortable. Other than that it was amazing!

We came on a Wednesday night. 7pm. The bar was wrapped and the bartender was holding it down. We had the Hawiaan pizza thin crust. Straight gas ,. And the Jager bombs were on point .. J&DFolkes

The waitress was friendly but the food was horrible. There was 3 of us we all got different dishes and nobody ate much because the food lacked flavor, was unappealing just very bland. The drinks were ok the wings showed multiple flavors but when we went to order we were told 4 of the flavors were not available.

Went for dinner. Had chicken strips and fries. They were good. The mixed drinks were awesome. Long Island ice tea is what I drank. Great time.

Vet owned establishment. Good selection of drinks. Varied menu. Food quality depends on who is in the kitchen. Service has always been great and there is plenty of seating.

I was part of a large group during a Saturday and the service was outstanding. Everyone was taken care of. I ordered pizza and it was delicious. My son had the catfish dinner and he loved it too.

Had the chicken tenders dinner. There were 6 pieces that were tender and juicy. I got the Cole slaw that was very tasty. The beer was nice and cold too. Price was low for the amount of chicken. Definitely recommend.

Sign said "seat yourself"! That should have been a clue. Came in for lunch, seated ourselves and waited for approx. 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Food came out about 5-7 minutes later, the tater tots looked like they were brought in from the county jail. The wings repelled the gobs of sauce that was at the bottom of the basket and the Southwestern Egg Rolls had so much grease and chicken gristle I wouldn't have fed them to my dog. The staff and manger were very nice and apologized for the wait and bad food. FYI... It's never a good sign when the manger says she never eats the Southwest Egg Rolls or tater tots! Lesson learned, never seat yourself unless you are going to be your own server and cook.

Something bad has happened to the food. It used to be good, but now just tastes like fried frozen food. The chicken fried steak used to be homemade. Now it is an oval puck about 1/4 inch thick. The catfish used to have a light cornmeal breading and now it’s a long strip over breaded in a tempura type breading. Awful.

No sense on “fish dinner vs fish and chips”. Dinner just only difference with catfish vs cod. Silly me thought dinner might have cole slaw and texas toast??? Very small order of fries with bugers or the “ dinner”

The food was ok. The waitress was sweet but got my husband's order wrong. No bacon on the bacon burger. The root beer tasted just like Dr. Pepper. It might be helpful to write the orders down. The prices were very high. The atmosphere was nice. Not noisy like many sports restaurants. We won't go back.

Went to celebrate a 21st birthday. Waitress wasn't very friendly. Nachos were brought out with the wrong protein on them and they were out of cheese sauce, so they just used shredded, which was just ok. Drink refills hard to come by, and shocked daughter wasn't carded for her drink. Seeing as she is commonly mistaken for a young teen.

They have changed there meat in the French dip. It has no taste, and the soda was all syrup. Last week my husband paid $30 for a steak. It came out undercooked. They said they would make a fresh one, but when it came out it was the same one just reheated and dry. I used to love this place but it is going down hill food wise.

Mad rocks is a nice local sports bar. The food is good, the service typically is good, and the prices are reasonable. Mad rocks has the "best Chicken Strips" in the area. We have never had a negative experience here.

I enjoyed my time there, and the food was great. The last 2 times we have been in has been terrible service. I feel for the owners because i feel like this staffing problem is across the board for all restaurants at this time.

Very good lunch with friends. Our server Jackie was attentive and brought drink refills before our other drinks were empty. Will definitely be eating there again!

Overall pretty good place, seems like a fun enough sports bar (we were there middle of the day on a weekday, no sports on). But got a couple arcade games, pool table. Service was prompt enough and food was definitely above average at a good price.

First time here. Ordered the catfish dinner. Big potions. Beer was cold. Atmosphere and service (Rylee) was great. May 20 cuustomers. My only complaint was the fish wasn't drained well before put in the basket. I soaked it up with a napkin. Other than that. I will be back. Thanks

The food was outstanding but what's up with the sauce game? This place is everything you want and more from a sport's bar but the wing sauce game is lacking. Hottest sauce is Frank's.

Great place. Great food. Great service. I only started going to Madrocks in the last couple of months. I am sad that I did not know of this bar and grill earlier.

Always clean and the staff is fantastic. They are always on top of things even when the place is packed. The Buffalo Chicken Balls are a treat and unique for the area. They are a marvel of culinary engineering.

We'd heard about Madrocks pizza, so we visited and ordered their Supreme. We weren't disappointed. The crust was crispy and had just the right balance of toppings and cheese. The service was great and we received our order in a timely manner. Can't say enough about Madrocks. Great place for pizza!

Standard sports bar with one really giant projector screen, and other screens around the perimeter. The sign on the wall says ask about daily food and drink specials. I asked my server who said no specials going on that day. Pretty chill vibe with some suburban biker and veteran accents. I would not make a special trip to go here, but would not mind going back.

That food was great. The service was friendly but extremely slow. We waited a very long time to be acknowledged to be seated. Almost to the point where we were going to leave and go somewhere else.

I usually always attend Madrocks, my favorite place to be. Recently though, I haven’t liked it very much and I would hate to see the place go downhill. A few days ago I went in, me and my family were greeted by an older man with white hair, and glasses. Usually, we go in late so we never are really greeted by anyone. This time it was different. He walked us all around the restaurant and just was not very efficient with us, he threw our menus down on the table and we had thought we did something wrong, after this experience Im scared to take my children back.

We used to love this place, and frequent it often when we lived in town. I was excited to be in town this weekend at dinner time to enjoy an old favorite, but was sadly disappointed. The food was bland, and barely warm. We ordered the nachos. They weren't warm, and barely topped. I also had the pork chop. It was nice and thick, but dry and unseasoned. I ordered an old fashioned. It arrived pink in color, and did not taste like an old fashioned. My son however ordered the chicken strips and fries which were amazing! Had I just ordered that, and a beer I would have been much happier. The waitress was very inattentive. She seemed to have something else on her mind. If you go definitely get the chicken strips. They're still good, and so is their ranch!

👍👍 I came here for the first time last week and was impressed with the quality and service. I ordered a hamburger, which was very good and only $12 for the whole meal. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The only concern I have would be the bathroom floor and the hallway leading into the bathroom...
