One of the most favorite restaurants in the ICT area disappointed with the service, bartenders and servers were absent most of the dinner service, had to ask for waters and service was extremely slow, most of the time the bartender and servers were to busy talking behind the bar neglecting the customers and customer had to come up to the bar just go get water to their tables, not attentive at all. For the kitchen staff they saved the experience for the dinner service well executed grilling of the pork chops with a nice mustard sauce, great grill technique, not dry still juicy and delicious, asparagus was also ordered with potato fingerlings that were absolutely delightful and pillowy with a light season. Again the past this place has been excellent in both service and food, tonight the chef and kitchen crew shined and save the dinner service. Thank you to the kitchen staff great job to you guys!

The wait service is fantastic and the food is nothing less than delightful. We ate an early dinner and shared the shrimp tacos and an appetizer. The Shrimp Tacos were the BEST I’ve ever tried. We can’t stop talking about them, as well as, the garlic clove infused bread with tomato butter, yum! There were a few cons: Our food took a long time to get when it wasn’t very busy (just the shrimp tacos we shared). The food is reasonably priced, but we got charged for a side that was supposed to be included with our meal and the beer is pricey. After attending a show at Century II we came back and shared a burger. The meat was juicy and good quality, but not well seasoned at all. They charge $0.75 per topping. We chose just two, jalapeños and cheese. There were like 2 tiny slices of jalapeño on there. I really didn’t care for the second meal we shared or that experience as much. Then again, the first round set our expectations pretty high, so I shouldn’t complain. The bar service was fine, but you don’t get bread while you eat. The side salad was dry and leafy but it was a bland mix of greens (I know someone reading this will appreciate this 😉). Go try those Shrimp Tacos! Oh my goodness, they were amazing!! It was very hard not to give a 5 star review, but there were several things they can improve on and try to be as honest and constructive as possible in the reviews I leave.

This was my first time at this restaurant, it's definitely a hidden gem in Wichita. Located in the heart of downtown next to the Drury Hotel, this quaint semi upscale restaurant is great for a date, work meeting, prom, catching up with friends, or after 5 wind down I dined in right at lunchtime, so it was not busy. The wait staff was attentive & not overbearing. I ordered the half grilled Ceasar salad with blackened shrimp. To my surprise, the salad came as a wedge that you cut up & it was slightly grilled, which was delicious. The shrimp seasoned to perfection & literally melted in your mouth! I would order this again for sure! The pricing is affordable depending on what you order & the atmosphere I say is semi upscale because the ambiance gives off an upscale vibe where you could wear an evening gown & suit or you can wear your work attire whatever that may be & not feel out of place. Overall, I really enjoyed my food & the restaurant. I'll be back & so should you!! 😊

Romantic setting and amazing food with exceptional service. I highly recommend you check it out. Great location especially during Riverfest or dinner before an event at Century 2.

Tried Avi on a Saturday night. It was a short wait for a table. The food prices were good for what we got. I had a 10oz strip and loaded potatoes. My only complaint was the dish the potatoes came was small and it made them difficult to cut and eat. They tasted great. My wife had the shrimp and grits and a crab cake. She loved both and the portion was good sized. We finished off with a slice of chocolate cake and carrot cake, both were great. The service was really good, everyone working helps with tables, several people refilled our drinks and cleared plates. We were annoyed there was not prices on the drink menu, I don't understand why that would be a secret.

Service was great, food was amazing. It wasn't overly crowded and we were there at noon on a Tuesday. There was some priceier menu items but if you needed to stay in the $10-14 range you easily could and be satisfied.

Had the Mahi tacos blackened and found the portions generous, flavorful and fresh, not too spicy but j-u-s-t right. The side of mushrooms were the BOMB, rich with wine & onions. We will be back for more of those!

Sat upstairs at the bar. Fast service, drinks were great! Had the AVI Club! No issues at all. Prices are fair and reasonable.

What a nice find in the Drury Inn Broadview. This is a wonderful steakhouse in Wichita with great steaks, chops and seafood at reasonable prices. The pork chops are awesome, the sides were flavorful and abundant and the service was solid. Definitely enjoyed our meals here and we will be back.

I went here for my birthday. The menu has many good choices. We had the crab cakes and spinach lobster dip for an appetizer. The atmosphere was so enjoyable. I prefer quiet restaurants to loud rowdy ones. Our waitress Jen was good at recommending dishes to try. We ordered shrimp tacos and sirloin steak. Everything we ate was delicious. It was the best complete meal I thoroughly enjoyed in a long time. Service was good and attentive. They do validate parking if you park in the garage across the street.

I was a little disappointed 😞 I had heard awesome reviews of AVI by my coworkers so was looking forward to trying it out. I had the grilled pear salad. The pear is halved with the skin on and laid in middle of the salad. The skin part still had the produce sticker on it. It also had a few seeds left in it. Other than the pear itself the salad was delightful. We had the brussel sprouts for the side. They could have been cooked 2-3 more minutes and they would have been perfect. The Bailey's Creme Brulee was more like a pudding. It had no Bailey's flavor at all though. It was a nice sized serving though. Our waitress was new (typical in the industry during the pandemic) but very helpful. The wait time and service was 9 out of 10 stars. If you make a reservation on the phone be sure to specify table or booth or you'll be seated at a table. I'll definitely give it another try. Maybe it was an off-night!

I enjoyed this fallback place. The food is always good, the wait staff is excellent! The menu has become a little stale however what they do have to offer always has excellent flavor. I would love to see some new items on the menu because this place has great service and great flavors so I'd love to see that applied to new items on the menu.

The food is reasonably priced. We sat I'm the bar area at a tall top. The service was great. The bartender was friendly and super knowledgeable. We talked about many things. However all talking stopped once the food arrived 🥰

Not your average hotel restaurant. This place rocks. The service is great, food came out fast, prices were reasonable, and - most importantly - the food was delicious. Seriously tasty. Everything from the ketchup to the garlic bread was home made! The Reuben was one of the best I’ve ever had. 5/5 stars, easily.

The crab cakes, artichoke dip, French fries, fish tacos, trout pasta, salmon, chicken salad, crem b le, cheesecake were amazing. However, the 13oz delmonico cut steak was very disappointing. They over cooked it and the suace it came with was not the best.

My daughter and I ate there Wednesday and couldn't have been happier. Beautiful place, good food attentive and friendly wait staff. I had Salmon and brussels sprouts. We had spinach and artichoke dip with bread and veggies for an appetizer. Everything was totally delicious!!!

It was not a good experience, we reserved the private room for Mother’s Day and had 19 of us total. I was told that when I reserved the private room, that I would have a minimum purchase of $250, based on those requirements, I had high expectations. When I made the reservation, I told them there would be 20 of us total, they advised me that it wouldn’t be a problem and that they would take good care of us. When we arrived, I found that they had assigned one server to attend to all of us which is not ideal for such a large party. Hector did the best he could to keep up with us but unfortunately he could not. The food was mediocre at best and they took far too long to get it to us. As an example, we arrived at 1:00 pm and didn’t leave until 4:15 pm. The long dining experience wasn’t because we ate slow or talked for hours it just took that long between appetizers, main course, and desert. My wife enjoyed the time with all of our family but she was not pleased with her dining experience, not the way I hoped to celebrate her on this Mother’s Day. I had high hopes based on the menu selections but unfortunately, I don’t believe we will ever be back. After talking to the management about our experience and how long it took to get food, along with the errors on our orders, she discounted our total by $100. Our bill ended up being 575.00 after tip for 12 adults and 6 children.

Went in with a large party. Ordering - I was not asked if I wanted a drink. So I had water. I ordered chicken tenders. The person next to me ordered shrimp and grits. Food started coming out. Multiple orders were mixed up for our party. No Food for me. None for the person next to me. We waited. Finally found out they were out of grits. At 5:30 on Friday evening. She had to select a different entree. They told me they'd try to figure out where my meal was. After pretty much everyone else had eaten, our food came out. It was good - hence the 2 stars. But why would I ever go back? We had reservations. They knew a large party (20 people) was going to be there. And they completely failed to rise to the occasion.
