Great food! A hidden gem in Kansas. The staff is absolutely amazing! We wanted to take our leftover wine to our room but a casino staff stopped us. We showed him that the bartender had sealed the bottle in a pre-approved bag but he still wouldn't let us go up. We went back to the restaurant and the manager, I believe, marched right out of the restaurant and found the guy and schooled him for us. It was fabulous! I definitely recommend this restaurant when you're in town! Our favorite stop when we travel from Colorado to Louisiana!

My husband and I decided to splurge for my birthday/our anniversary dinner. This was the best steak I've ever had in my life! I had the 7 oz filet with a blue cheese crust, and he had the 10 oz filet. The meat was melt in your mouth tender, and the sides were huge! The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was delicious, but the crab cakes were rather bland. Service was spectacular and I definitely will be returning for my next special occasion. I'd love to eat here frequently, but it's out of our price range for a regular meal.

Jessica was the absolute best server we’ve had in years. The crab cakes appetizer … get the crab cakes. Perfection. I got the scallops and was weary of the bed of “street corn” that it came with. It was excellent. As as a plate was empty, the lady bussing tables had it gone and you hardly noticed. As soon as someone left, she had the table clean. I notice she kept checking her rag while cleaning tables to make sure it was clean and replaced when not. If you are looking for a nice date night, we highly recommend. The mushroom add on (even though fungus is gross) my wife said was incredible. The only negative to the whole thing- the casino it’s attached to kinda sucks. A lot of older games and not a lot of “cheap play” games for those not trying to win or lose a mortgage payment. Ask for Jessica, I’m telling you she’s the best. The steaks looked great and even the burger and fries had me wanting to try it. 5 stars plus. Kudos.

My husband and I went on a date night dinner here. Really nice and elegant. Portion sizes are really good. A romantic place as well! We loved their prime rib! Buttery soft! Definitely will be back for another date night!

Horrible service, but delicious food! Certainly a fine dining atmosphere complimented by top quality cuisine however, the service was awful. The hostess was unpleasant and the service staff were unfriendly, preoccupied, failed to inquire as to our drink choices and seemes slightly bothered both at the request for a drink menu and then later at our request for another round (we were a party of 2, and had 2 beers and 1 glass of wine) - We would certainly dine again, CARRY OUT ONLY!

Great steakhouse at the Kansas star Casino. The steaks are always cooked to perfection this time I had the special swordfish crusted with potatoes with a cauliflower purée and fresh carrots very delightful. I even one right after dinner so paid for my meal.

Good food, good service, nice atmosphere, easy to get to, no complaints. I am especially happy to be able to make actual reservations, and equally happy that they were held to by the staff. The menu is great and while the prices are most definitely on the high side, that's to be expected I suppose considering the restaurant is attached to the Inn and the Casino.

Very calm cool atmosphere steak was cooked perfectly cut was ok asparagus was delicious bartender was very friendly

Horrible experience for a pricey meal. Was seated at 7pm , took them 15 minutes for some water. The server was asking a lot while doing so little. We had to remind him several times. 1hour and 30 minutes later, foods came out cold. Cold prime rib, cold sides, missing dressing, cold appetizer… for a $250+ dinner for 4, it’s so not worth it. I couldn’t give zero star so 1 is already too much. Take half your money and go to Long Horn or Texas Roadhouse, you will get more Quality and Service . Again , extremely not recommended.

Very bad services. My family was there on Saturday 2/19/2022 at 6:45 pm (reserve table). We had to wait for over an hour to get first order arrived ( salad) without dressing! And have to get the other lady supervisor to bring dressing after15 minute. All the rest came out after 1 hour 50 minutes and cold food!!!! How disappointed it was! During this time, at least 4 tables with customers came in after us at least 20 minutes they had served already!!! We had a very bad experience about this place

We stopped at Woodfire on our vacation and it was one of the best restaurants we have been to. The staff was excellent, the food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. You do need a reservation before stopping because they are busy but it is definitely worth trying out!!

Went on a Wednesday to try something new. The menu had many interesting options but I hadn't had prime rib in awhile and had made my choice. The waitress offered the specials to include 2 for 1 prime rib. We were a little concerned but decided to go for it. It was great. My chopped salad was good, the French onion soup was interesting although it was very good. Dessert should always have room saved for it and it didnt disappoint. The whole experience was enjoyable.

Oooh take a little drive to Mulvane for a special night out! You can't beat this wonderful place for dinner. The steaks are tender, and delicious. Very unique presentation, and flavor. The home made bread came with 3 flavors of butter. Honey, Hawiian sea salt, and spiced olive oil. The servers are excited about the menu, and make great suggestions. Tonight, we had the chefs special. A center cut Delmonico steak with pepper sauce. Delicious. I never order dessert, but I'm so glad I did! Fluffy lemon cheese cake, with a thick cookie crust. The manager came over, and introduced himself to us, and chatted awhile. He gave us his card, and told us to call him for reservations. What a great personal touch, and a wonderful dinner experience!!! It is located inside of the Kansas Star Casino, so you can have a little fun after your meal. I think I have a new favorite place for dinner!

Came on Thanksgiving, might want to change from Reservations highly recommended, to will only seat you if you have a reservation. With that maybe kindly suggest to make a reservation online, because you will not do so in person. Would not recommend, sadly.
