One of my favorite places to eat! I recently found out they have gluten free bread, which opened up a whole new menu for me 😂 EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD. Pictured: Gluten Free Tomato Dill Bisque with a Gluten Free Milano sandwich. Tuscan White Bean soup with the City Chicken sandwich.

I got there just before they open and there was already a line waiting to get in. I ordered carryout and it was ready fairly quick. I got small portions of the salad special and soup as well as the bread pudding. The salad was delicious and fairly big for a "small." The soup and bread pudding was good! I really enjoyed it.

Incredible soup and sandwiches. The depth of flavor is artfully crafted. It’s obvious these people love what they do.

What a freakin’ awesome place to do lunch! I was only in town for the day but I had looked this place up before arriving and drove straight to it. Unique and high quality soups, sandwiches and salads. I had the Cleopatra and a bowl of shrimp chowder. I was offered samples of other soups and provided info on what locals like. The service was fantastic from everyone, the greens were fresh and crisp. The chicken was cooked well and the chowder was to die for! I wish I had this place in my home town! The prices were fair and with water as a drink I was full and happy for just over $13. Portions are healthy and plentiful. The place was packed but I didn’t have to wait long for food. These folks got service down! Give it a TRY! You will be back. So nice to find good food when on the road! Thanks to the whole crew at Tanya’s!!

Hands down favorite lunch spot in Wichita. Their tomato bisque is the best I've ever had, and the Chef's Club sandwich is flavorful and unique with the Gorgonzola sauce. Homemade iced tea also hits the spot, Always stop in on my trips to Wichita for a pleasant lunch

I used to love this place but don't know what has happened. I ordered Delilah's Light Lunch, Veggie Veggie Soup and a Peanut Butter Cooking for delivery. Both the sandwich bread and cookie were burnt. Total of almost $30 for one person was spent and couldn't eat half of it. Won't be going back there again.

Amazing soups, sandwiches, salads, potato salad, and bread pudding that’s amazeballs good. I had the edamame gazpacho- super delicious. Definitely going back again soon!

Soup is fantastic! Went to get Chicken Tortilla, but they were out. Opted for Tomato Basil, but also out. Tried the Corn Chowder... It was amazing and will be on my rotation from now on! Wonderful employees.. fun store!

I started coming here in 2018, and every time I visit Wichita I come by. Employees are always super nice, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great.

First time coming here and loved it! I'm a huge soup girl, so this was my place. I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. My meal was delicious and the portions felt huge...I only got the "tiny" portions and they felt like too much!! Perfect lunch stop and can't wait to try it again :)

The Blue Key North sandwich was different but delicious, the cold chipotle raspberry bisque was like cold raspberry puree and I didn't care for it at all. Lady that took our call in order was super friendly.

The food is absolutely magnificent, every time. I eat here weekly and it never gets old. I will say, there have been a few times I was less than impressed with the service but the majority of the employees are lovely.

Daughter and I visited here in 2019, and it's been on my mind since then to eat here again. This was the weekend! Daughter and her husband cleaned up their vegan dishes while I relished the chicken salad I ordered. My suggestion would be to go before noon because at 12:00 there was a line out the door.

I was really looking forward to the Cleopatra salad and tomato Iltaliano bisque soup. However, both were a very big disappointment. The soup was so sweet, there was no tomato flavor to it. I've never had such an odd tasting tomato bisque. The salad was a bigger disappointment for two main reasons. 1) they were out of grilled chicken-on a Monday morning around 1130. They substituted very thin sliced deli turkey that was so salty it was a very poor choice. 2) There was NO apricot chutney on the salad at all. That was an ingredient I was looking forward to tasting. Needless to say it was a very poor, disgusting meal for over $16. I also had iced tea, which was good. My lunch companion had some sort of toasted sandwich she said was "good ".

Absolutely wonderful. People were waiting for the doors to open to get in. The food was terrific, and the staff was very helpful in explaining what was what. I will be back. The potato soup was fabulous.

Pleasant and laid back. Comfy room. Delicious, refreshing Chilled Gazpacho, (once I returned the hot soup brought over first), and tasty pasta salad on a very warm day. The bread was a bit dry and firm for me, but I dunked it in my soup, and it was okay. It happens, and I will pleasantly return for more soup goodness.

Everything about this place! Delicious homemade soup paired with a freshly-made sandwich or side. I had the tomato bisque with the olive sandwich. The atmosphere is accepting, and loving. Good Energy! The staff are extremely friendly and outgoing.

The food is spectacular and all of the people working there are great. Had the soup and Elsa(?) salad. Both were amazing. Absolutely one of the best meals since I moved to KS.

This was my first time here. I ordered a big chile verde soup and Coca-Cola. We seated ourselves. There were no tables available inside. The first two tables on the patio were extremely wobbly. We sat at the picnic table. After 10 minutes they came out and said they were out of the soup I ordered. I chose tomato. That was tasty. Unfortunately none of us were offered refills on our drinks. I heard really good things about this place. The food was good but the service was very poor.

We had heard this place was good and it didn't disappoint us! Our group had a Reuben sandwich, the chicken sandwich, the vegetable Stew, the seafood chowder, and the potato salad. All were great. Staff were very courteous and helpful!

I love the soup! I got the tomato and gumbo. I even took takeout with me. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!

Tanya's was conceived by one of the best people I ever knew. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is charming and the people are beautiful souls. The only complaint I could possibly make about Tanya's is that it's so popular that it can be hard to get in sometimes. I heartily recommend everything on the menu at Tanya's Soup Kitchen!

I've eaten here twice and love what I've had so far. Cindy the Boy is *delicious* and they've had cold soup options both times I've gone (late June and July). Staff is friendly and willing to look up ingredients in foods if they don't already know (helpful for food allergies or trying to avoid certain things).

I've been a regular for about a year. I go just about every Wednesday for their chicken curry with rice soup. That soup is fire and I love it. Everyone that works there is super sweet and speedy with taking orders. <3

Kind of disappointed in the staff, watched the staff try to scold a 9 month pregnant customer for sitting down at a table while her friends ordered for her. Plenty of people were finishing up eating, but they kept making a big deal of her not standing in line, while I heard her apologize and say I just can’t wait in there for that long. I was shocked, she looked like she could go into labor at any moment and her friends Brought her to a nice lunch to give her a couple gifts. I don’t think any of the customers would have made that poor girl stand and wait. Empathy goes a long way, and the world could use a lot more of it these days.

Great lunch spot off Douglas, I went with the Cindy the boy and the Apple chutney was amazing. The pasta salad wasn’t my favorite it had a little too much dressing for my liking but definitely get it and try it cause it was different. Of course you can’t go wrong with the soups as well all delicious!

The only bummer is that they are only open certain times of the day, so I only get to visit on days I happen to be off. They have some great sandwiches, soups, and salads. The staff are super nice and the decor is very unique. For a cool vibe and fairly cheap delicious food definitely would recommend!
