This
one
is
rather
close
to
my
heart.
I
have
a
sentimental
connection
to
Indian
culture(s)
for
the
simple
fact
that
it
was
everywhere
during
my
days
at
Tabor
College.
Students
and
professors
were
blessed
to
take
the
J-Term
trip
every
year
and
I
was
so
jealous!
I
also
studied
Hinduism
and
Buddhism
for
my
major
and
I
did
a
lot
of
reading
about
India.
Lastly,
I
had
lots
of
friends
who
had
grown
up
exposed
to
the
flavors
of
India
as
well
as
her
neighbors
like
Nepal
and
Bhutan!
The
whole
thing
got
me
good
and
ready
for
my
own
taste,
but
I
have
learned
the
hard
way
that
Indian
eateries
come
and
go
in
Kansas,
but
Passage
to
India
is
a
game
changer!
It
has
been
around
for
a
while
and
even
though
it
has
changed
hands,
I
think
that
is
hardly
a
setback
in
the
long-run!
And
the
best
part?
I'm
not
really
here
to
talk
about
lunch
or
dinner.
I'm
here
to
talk
about
the
buffet
😁😁😁
Yes,
Passage
to
India
is
one
of
those
Indian
places
that
serves
a
weekend
lunch
buffet!
Take
my
advice,
catch
the
buffet.
Fill
your
plate
with
as
much
as
you
can,
scarf
it
down
in
five
to
ten
minutes,
and
then
repeat
the
cycle.
I
have
never
gone
back
for
fourth
and
fifth
or
even
sixth
helpings
anywhere
else!
I
was
outta
breath
when
it
was
over,
but
who
cares???
Trust
me,
when
Indian
food
is
done
well,
it
is
so
good,
you
stretch
out
your
stomach
for
more!
The
foodbaby
will
pass!
Even
the
water
from
the
pitcher
is
flavored
with
a
hint
of
lime
and
cucumber!
It
isn't
uncommon
to
see
Gulab
Jamun
at
the
buffet
for
dessert
and
it's
soooo
aromatic!
The
rosewater
and
cardamom
are
blissful!
Look,
if
ever
you
have
thought
that
you
might
be
brave
enough
to
pig
out
on
food,
save
it
for
something
Indian.
It's
*not*
all
fatty,
it's
*not*
all
spicy,
it's
*not*
all
curry,
it's
*not*
all
pungent,
and
it's
*not*
all
made
with
things
completely
foreign
and
unfamiliar
to
a
western
palate!
I'm
telling
you,
it's
so
good
that
it's
worth
gorging
yourself!
😅😅😅
Now
that
I
have
diverted
your
attention
fanboying,
let's
get
serious
again.
When
you're
not
a
gluttonous
college
kid
raring
to
see
the
exotic
things
in
this
world,
Passage
to
India
is
known
for
its
relaxing
atmosphere
as
a
fine
dining
locale.
Going
on
a
dinner
date?
They
got
you!
So
be
brave!
It's
good
eating!
