My friend, our kids and I were greeted with "Are your kids messy." We sit down at the table and she says "Have you been here before?" We replied with smiles on our starving faces "no we haven't!" She says with smirk and pretentiousness "yes, I can tell. Let me show you how this works. It's easy. You see, everything we do here is art. When the food comes out, it is ART. This place, art..." Then as she circles her face with her hand she says "ART". Oh. Okay. Well, let us start with two spicy bloody Mary's. We waited almost 10 minutes for them. When they arrived, and I wish I could post a of picture of this so called "ART" because I laughed at the one stalk of celery which had brown wilted spots on the leaves and speckles of not-so-fresh all on it. Then the flavor was awful. We didn't drink it. Now, the food I ordered was good, a swiss burger. But yet again I was expecting "ART". They gave me a teaspoon of ketchup and a teaspoon of mustard in a small ramekin...ummmm ohhhhh I get it, it is "ART".

Sunday brunch with a great view of the river. There were also several brunch specials too. Menu is simple. Lots of great brunch drinks. Started off with a new bloody Mary that was the perfect amount of spice and new flavor, appetizer LABNE AND OLIVE TAPENADE along with bread and then BROCCOLI AND CHEESE QUICHE.

Interesting setup of a restaurant where you can tell the location was previously a cafeteria-style layout (area for picking up trays, counters for moving down the line), but they have converted it into a sit-down full-service restaurant without refurbishing the interior (just some reorganization). The lobby-space immediately outside of the restaurant appears to have been the old dining area, but looks to be a reception location for functions as when we went, they were setting up for a wedding. Smaller menu of sandwiches, salads, and omelets, small space, food took some time to arrive, service was good and refilled out drinks at a decent clip. Food was certainly adequate and fine, but not particularly memorable. Alcohol available, but did not partake.

The food and the service was superb! Our whole experience was so wonderful. Our table was by a window so we could look out over the museum grounds and to the river. Even though there was conversation around us the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. I took my sister there for here birthday lunch. We both agreed that we couldn't have picked a better place. Enjoying the beautiful art in the museum was a bonus!

I love everything on the menu and I eat here very frequently! The view is so nice and the customer service matches the great environment. The food comes out so quick and it's for such a good price. Love this place and will continue coming back!

The Muse is one of my family and mine's favorite brunch spots in Wichita. Poached eggs hollandaise, braised Portuguese roast, and the daily specials are all favorites. The view of the river is great for a relaxing meal.

Great food and terrific atmosphere. Value for money spent is one of the best in Wichita. A hidden gem in riverside.
