I've always heard great things, but hadn't ever made it in. I ordered the five spice tonkatsu ramen and a rainbow roll. A friend ordered the chicken yaki soba. Both were absolutely delicious and filling. Service was a little slow, but the quality of food was worth it. Will definitely be dining here again.

Fast and friendly service, dinner served quick. The menu is extensive with a decent amount of vegetarian options. I went out on a limb and tried the eel in the Desert Maki roll. I was very apprehensive about it, but it was top notch! The flavor was perfect! I also had the garlic edamame, that was good too. This place is definitely worth checking out. There were plenty of open seats at dinner time.

This is a nice restaurant located in the Delano district. The staff was friendly and made sure drinks stayed filled and all needs were met. I had the sushi here and it was really good. The quality was good maybe some of the best sushi I've had in Wichita but I was a little disappointed with the quantity for the price. Each selection only came with two pieces and I left still hungry after dropping $20 on just my meal.

I have been frequenting this place for a few years now. I go about once a week. The Shoyu Pork Belly Ramen is amazing, much better than any other place I've tried. Additionally they have the best Sushi in Wichita in my opinion. They also have great curried fried rice, grilled red snapper, lots of good options. Small space, just a husband and wife running the place, but they do a great job.

Best ramen in town! The pork belly is thicker than you’d get at other places, and their fried rice is also absolutely delicious The wait is definitely worth it.

Pork belly was the best I ever had. The way they treat the meat with respect shows in the taste. However, Ramen was not great. The Tonkotsu broth was not meaty, the use of corn and carrots didn’t help the flavors.

The best food I've had at a restaurant in the last 3 years any city of any kind. I had the curry chicken fried rice and it was life changing. My wife had the ryusa sushi roll and red tuna sashimi. Phenomenal. Will be coming back here all the time and no where else for Japanese food.

Great food and service. Only place to go if looking g for better than average Ramen in Wichita. Can be slow at times but well worth the wait. Super friendly staff.

The food is always fresh and delicious everytime we go. Hands down the best ramen in Wichita! Service is always friendly and welcoming but can be slow at times so be patient. If you're going for dinner I recommend showing up no later than an hour before closing.

I have a thing for traditional Japanese food. Nothing fancy. No extra frills needed. This place scratched that itch. Admittedly, my party had to request no mayo on pretty much everything. But sans mayo, it was awesome. Wakazame, miso, Nikkou I/O maki, a few rounds of warm sake... honestly one of the best experiences with going out to eat in a while. Hire more servers, tho.

Excellent food! Sautéed shrimp is incredible. If you go make sure that you are not in a hurry. This place forces you to take your time! Could use more art on the walls. I love the yellow, but more Art would look great in here!

When I came in, the place was small and busy, but the staff were super friendly and genuinely wanted to ensure I was enjoying my time there. They had a bottle of nigori sake that I like well enough, the fresh salmon nigiri was exceptional, my favorite bite of the night. The spicy tuna roll was one of the best I've ever had, it was actually spicy. Ever since Kwan Court closed, I've looked for a replacement sushi restaurant in Wichita, while this place doesn't come close in atmosphere, the hospitality makes up for it. I definitely hope to come back again.

This place is a gem of Wichita. The food is AMAZING… from the 5 spice ramen to the sushi. You can taste the love that is put into it. This place has ruined me for any other ramen place in town. The owners seem do everything, and do it well.

Food was perfect. Everything was spiced just right. My wife and I had a date here Saturday night and there wasn't a huge rush. I think they may be understaffed because there only appeared to be 2 people working, 1 server and 1 chef. But the chef did his job to perfection. We ordered chicken fried rice, a spicy lobster roll and a spicy California role all of which was exquisite.

This is hands down the best ramen I've tasted so far in Wichita! We got the ping pong ramen, the five spice ramen, the pork buns and the seaweed salad. It was the best dinner I'd had in a loooooooong time. There is not a question about whether I will be back or not--I'm already making plans for my next visit! Trust me, try this place and thank me later!

We are a family of 7 with 5 young kids. Came in at lunch time on a Friday. We would have easily spent $150 before tip and gladly would have done so to support a local restaurant. The waitress asked us for our order and I tried ordering just for our children first, then would have looked over the menu to order for myself and my husband. She very shortly said “if you’re not ready I’m not gonna take your order. I have one chef only. He makes it all at once. So you wanna order now? You ready? If not I’ll come back.” Now, I understand that times are tough right now. I understand business owners are spread thin and tired. But I am not keen on spending good, hard earned money just to be treated like an inconvenience. If you are just a small group of young adults or a couple on a date with no time constraints then by all means, support a well loved local business that looks to have amazing food. But if you are on a time crunch, have young children with you, or prefer to order more than once (I love ordering as I go but that seemed not allowed here) then take your business somewhere else.

A true Wichita gem! Absolutely phenomenal. Always the best food and service. My wife and I love this place and have been coming here for years. Everything on the menu is expertly made to order and the water at your table is always full. Best curry fried rice and ramen in the world! #NSAYF

The owners of this restaurant are of the most kind, appreciative, and respectful people I've ever met. The food is always top notch, the atmosphere is calm and comfortable, and considering their small but dedicated staff, their service is excellent. This restaurant has been consistently great every time I've had their food for quite a few years now. I wish them and their family the best of luck in the restaurant industry!

Best sushi and Japanese cuisine in Kansas!!!!!! Their freshness is definitely something I've never experienced in Kansas. Always fresh and melt in your mouth sushi! If you haven't tried Sakura, go NOW! Amazing service! The owners are just fabulous and so kind!!! They still remember my sister's order after over 3 years of moving to out of state.

Sakura (original Harry and Rock location) has a soft spot in my heart because it's the first place I ever tried sushi and grew to love it. There are many options to choose from: sushi, noodle dishes, fried rice and what I enjoy the most, the ramen. Their ramen is delicious! I always get the Tonkatsu Curry Ramen. Their perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs and charred pork belly is so tasty! The spicy broth is very flavorful and has a complexity that sets theirs apart from many other restaurants I've tried. The food is always consistent which all diners can appreciate. I also add a tuna or salmon temaki or any of their specialty rolls to enjoy with the ramen. There is only one chef and one front of the house, so the wait will be longer. They are still social distancing with tables which limits capacity. You'll need to arrive we'll before closing time because you may get turned away because the tables are full. The lady who runs the front of the house works very hard and is attentive to the customers needs and ensures they have plenty of water. Price is comparable to other Japanese or sushi restaurants in Wichita. Definitely give them a try!

I went for lunch on my birthday and had an amazing time! I ordered a bowl of Ramen and some sushi but couldn't come close to eating it all. Staff was great, food was delicious!

Easily my favorite resturant in Wichita. That is saying a lot considering how many great places there are! The sashimi is carefully prepared and well plated, the garlic edemame is delectable, and the 5 spice ramen is the best bowl of ramen I have ever had. It has seriously raised the bar to unobtainable levels. The staff's dedication to the resturant is to be admired and respected. For as long as I can remember, I have been helped by the same people. I will never miss the chance to come in whenever I am in town.

I picked up sushi here a month or so ago, the fish tasted and smelled very fishy. It looked old and the cuts were far too thick, and had unusual chewy texture. I ended up throwing it away after one bite. $45 of sushi in the garbage. Would never come back

Had the Goyza Ramen and garlic edamame. Very good and nice staff.

The noodles I had were delicious! There's an art to using the spicy sauce you get on the side. Proceed with caution if you aren't ready for the heat. Overall I enjoyed the great flavors found in my food and the sensations of eating the spicy sauce added in.

Best authentic tasting ramen in town! Waitress and owners there are very kind! If you're not sure what to get ask for recommendations and they never fail. The takoyaki always come out perfectly when ordered. And their sushi is delicious. Their cheesy tofu appetizer is also a favorite!

Delicious sushi and great service. Had a few appetizers (Takoyaki and Agadashi) and the deluxe sushi combo B. Happy bellies!

They have zero compassion for people’s schedules. We traveled 30 minutes and got there in time to enjoy lunch. But they sent us away, saying they were closed to any orders, (we arrived AT LEAST 30 minutes before their posted closing time and they had open spaces). They were flippant about it. This afternoon we tried again. Drove 30 minutes.. again. Now they’re just not open. They have a sign posted on their door that says they are closed and reopening on March 1. Today is March 2 and they are not open. WHAT?? This is beyond frustrating. Not how you treat customers. I hope all is well with them.

What a wonderful find. We shared the garlic edamame and fried potstickers—which I highly recommend. I had never had edamame with those two flavors together — delicious. My yakisoba was flavorful and I will definitely order again. The atmosphere was zen and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Dishes are made to order so plan to relax and enjoy this meal.
