Finally stopped in to try Ty's Diner and it was fantastic. Son and I both got a double cheeseburger and we split an order of corn nuggets and cheese sticks. Burger had a nice crust from the flatop and was juicy and flavorful. The apps were awesome as well. Wish I'd stopped in sooner. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing experience. We walked over from exploration place and are glad we did. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. This is a clear gem of the city and happy we found it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal! This is a true diner!

The Ultimate cheese burger is the best in Wichita. I had a cheat day and it was well spent sitting in the famous “Norms” table. It was so good and juicy. The grilled onions and jalapeños and bacon gave the burger so much more flavor. The onion rings were cooked perfectly…hand made. The service was great and personal. It’s been around since the 50s.

This was my first time eating here and I loved it! The burgers are very reasonably priced and full of flavor. They have corn nuggets!! Oh that is exciting to me! Reminded me of home. The owner is who served my friend and I. She did such a wonderful job and has an excellent personality, we were laughing so much as we enjoyed our food. I definitely recommend eating here, I will come back.

Great burger. Soft bun with 2 smashed patties and tasty bacon. Great diner-y vibe. Love the service. Great price. And the FROSTY mug of root beer is the cherry on top.

Not a fan of the fries but I'm picky! Food was excellent. Would recommend the mushrooms as they were wonderful. Food cane out in under 10 minutes and tasted amazing

I only make it here on a family birthday. But I love it. Great food. Cold beer. and the staff are like old friends.

It has been 30 years since I had eaten at Ty's Diner and the food was as delicious as I remembered. Today I did it up special and ordered onion rings. They were great. My only disappointment was management has chosen to replace Coca-Cola with Pepsi!

This burger joint is old-school! This has the friendly small-town feel from long ago that you have missed. Sharp witted and happy servers add to the fun of eating incredible flat grill burgers - mine had grilled onions, peppers, pickle, and mustard - and the 1/2 order basket of fries were perfection!

The burger was quite good, and the onion rings were not bad either! But the service was really lacking. They are only open from 11am to 2:30pm, which makes it super crowded. There are just not enough servers to handle that kind of volume of people. I still recommend it if you want good food!

Ty's Diner serves up a really good flat top burger! In taking that first bite, the burger patty had a great flat top crust and even though cooked well done, remained juicy and was seasoned perfectly. I was going to write that Ty's does their burgers up Freddy's Style, thin with a great crust, but that wouldn't be accurate. Ty's has been around a lot longer, so the truth is, Freddy's does their burgers Ty's Diner style, thin with a great crust! I wonder if Freddy's got the... Never mind... The lettuce was fresh, the tomato was juicy, the onion added a nice punch, the pickle provided a pleasant tart element and the bacon was crisp. If you like Freddy's, you'll LOVE Ty's!

The food was very good, I enjoyed the burger a lot, the fries were okay. The service however, was excellent. The owner was very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Ty's diner is absolutely wonderful. Very small menu. It's a burger place. Everything is done to order. They'll cook your food any way you like it. I never get tired of their cheeseburgers, and the hand cut fries are amazing, as are the onion rings. The staff are beyond awesome. You feel like you're visiting some old friends. Ty's is also super LGBTQ friendly. I can't say enough positive things about Ty's. It is one of my favorite places in Wichita to eat. They are only open for a few hours each day, and when they open, there is almost always a line out the door, so be prepared for a wait. On the plus side, they are very efficient, and even when the line goes around the side of the building, it doesn't take too long to get seated.

This people is awesome! The atmosphere is great. The people are great! And the food is delicious! They even started putting eggs on burgers because of a request that I made. So they will always be my first choice for lunch or just a burger in general. Thank you to everyone at Ty's Diner

First time going to ty's. The burgers and onion rings were awesome. The owner was our waitress. She was very nice and great at job. Will be going back. Recommend getting the man up burger.

Everything was great! Nicest and friendliest people. Our burgers were incredible. I had the open face chili cheeseburger and loved it. Frings (fries and onion rings) were excellent...fresh cut fries.

The burgers are done just right. The chili looks good too but I can't help but order the bacon cheeseburger. The service is good, prices are fair and the fries are good too. No wonder they’ve been around so long.

I love this place! Food and service are like no other! Even though my diet doesn't allow a lot of frequenting, most "cheat days" have me thinking of this place!

Went with a friend who said this is his #1 burger in town. Is it? Well it’s easily top 3. The overall experience was awesome. Quality service. Fair prices. Very tasty burger and fries. I got the double cheeseburger and it was hard to put down. Fries were solid. Will definitely be coming back in the near future! Happy I got to check this place out.

It was ok. The waitress is the one reason why I wouldn't go back. She was very rude. The food was great but like I said the staff was not friendly and ruined the experience. I used to come to this restaurant with my mother as a child and loved it. Too bad the waitress made it to where I probably won't return :/

I'm not from Wichita but come here often for work. Every time I'm here I try something different and today it was TY's Diner. I had a double cheese burger with onion rings. The burger was cooked perfectly and the rings were crispy and delicious. The wait staff were super friendly. The place has an old dive bar feel and could use a little TLC but overall I would recommend it. Great burger!!

Showed up to see a line waiting for opening. Pretty impressive how the staff got food out. Good burger. Country would be better if people showed even half the enthusiasm I saw here today. Thank you!
