My
partner
and
I
visited
the
Tanganyika
Wildlife
Park
for
the
very
first
time
this
past
Sunday,
July
3rd.
We
expected
it
to
be
really
busy,
but
we
were
pleasantly
surprised
when
we
arrived
at
10:30
AM
to
find
that
wait
times
were
very
minimal.
I
believe
the
longest
we
waited
for
anything
was
about
5-10
minutes.
The
park
is
small,
and
I
think
that
adds
to
the
fun.
I'm
used
to
visiting
the
Kansas
City
Zoo
and
it's
just
too
big
and
too
spread
out
to
visit
all
of
the
animals
in
one
day.
A
smaller
wildlife
park
or
zoo,
I
think,
is
much
more
enjoyable
because
you
get
to
spend
time
enjoying
each
exhibit
--
which
is
amazing
when
you
get
to
interact
with
some
of
the
animals!
All
of
the
animals
appeared
very
well
cared
for
and
content,
which
is
always
wonderful
to
see
in
these
environments.
Too
many
parks/zoos
appear
to
have
animals
in,
well,
not
the
best
conditions,
but
I
did
not
get
any
sense
of
that
on
our
visit
this
past
weekend.
Obviously,
we
all
want
to
see
animals
thriving
in
the
wild,
but
parks
can
play
a
vital
role
in
the
preservation,
protection,
and
much
needed
education
for
humans.
And,
in
that
regard,
I
consider
the
Tanganyika
Wildlife
Park
to
be
doing
an
amazing
job!
We
will
be
visiting
again
and
recommend
you
visit,
too!
