The hotel was nice, clean and reasonable. Here is the reason for my 2 star review: My wife and I were awakened early in the morning to the sound of “housekeeping” yelling across the entire floor to each other for about 4 mins. Then we went back to sleep. At 8:04a we had a knock on our door from the same housekeepers. Mind you, we requested and were granted a late checkout for 1p. I told them we had a late checkout and they just huffed off without any apology for waking us up twice. We then went to the trails to have our morning walk together at return at 11:30a and our keys are disabled. So we have to go get our keys reactivated and remind them of our late checkout. Again no apologies for their inconsiderateness. Finally, while my wife is showering at noon, with our “do not disturb” sign STILL UP… housekeeping knocks AGAIN and literally asks us when we will get out! If you’re shocked… so was I. I do not expect any follow-up because IHG generally does not have good customer service.

A couple buddies and I stayed out in this hotel on one of our motorcycle rides. Although we weren't able to check in before 2:00 p.m.( we did know this information in advance that this might happen) the room we had was impeccably clean quite nice for the price we paid for the hotel. However daytime front desk lady couldn't seem to take the time to look up and talk to us let alone put her phone down when we did check in. Fortunately that was the only time we had to deal with her. The breakfast bar is one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel as far as variety and preparedness

Since we chose hotels largely based on reviews, this is necessary. The beds and pillows were AWESOME, the rooms were very clean and they had real soap and shampoo instead of the usual cheap individual bottles. Everything about our stay was commendable, until breakfast. It had potential, but it fell short. The stated breakfast time was 6:30 -9:00. We got down at 8:30 and there were no eggs or sausage links. When a customer asked for more, first the cook/employee blatantly ignored him while on her phone, then refused to make any eggs. The cinnamon rolls were delicious! But the only diabetic friendly food there was the sausage patties, and they were jerky. In all fairness, the 15 people who got there 8:30 or 8:45 probably should have gotten up 15 minutes earlier. But that reflects poorly on an otherwise excellent hotel. Hungry customers do not leave good reviews.

Clean and spacious room. Great shower pressure, and all the necessary bathroom toiletries and amenities. Keurig coffee maker and fridge. Free breakfast. Nice sized gym with free weights and multi gym.

Loved this location. The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was good as usual. The breakfast serving area was always so clean. The beds were as expected, heavenly. We stay exclusively with holiday Inn because we know what exceptional service we’ll get every time.

This hotel needs some maintenance! The tile baseboard in our room had a piece falling off. Wallpaper was ripped by the elevator. The AC made a noise all night that was reminiscent of my alarm cloak, which doesn't help with sleeping well. And why is the toilet paper holder barely 2 feet from the floor?!. There was no one in the lobby when we arrived about 6:30 pm, in a hotel near a hwy. Took a few minutes for someone to appear. The elevator is not near the lobby. We weren't directed where it was. Took a few minutes to find it. I was about to head back to the lobby when we stumbled on it. (Hint, go right, past the toilets, then left into a hallway.) The weirdest thing was the TV. I couldn't get the remote to work. We figured the batteries were dead so my husband went down and asked for replacements. We found out the TV has to be turned on first before the remote works, and the switch was on the bottom of the TV. Had to feel around til we found it. What the heck? Also had to find the switch again to turn it off! I would recommend trying one of the other hotels off this exit. Don't think they would be more disappointing. Especially when you consider Holiday Inn Express prices for this! (No, Holiday Express isn't that pricey, but it was for this location.)

No coffee in rooms. No coffee at the coffee bar. They said they were out?!?! Help desk lady said the manager knew they were out but hadn't done anything to fix the problem. Stayed in the suite as we have a family of 6. The room was spacious. Two queen beds and a sofa bed. There are no linens for the sofa bed. Two towels for showers. Had to track down all that stuff. The staff was 50/50 on friendliness. The room was clean it was a little wore down tho. Help desk lady didn't go above and beyond. Just did the bare minimum her blanket and cell phone seemed to be more important. Overall, the stay was mediocre at best, not what I am used to staying at Holiday Inn Express across the USA.

Front desk lady took FOREVER to check me in, Ended up double changing my room and now I won’t get the 2nd charge back for 10 days. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE BETTER. Room was alright; heating unit made all kinds of noise.

Was horribly shocked when we entered the room that we were given, to find another guest already checked into that room, and laying on the bed. In all our years of traveling, that has never happened before! We double checked to make sure we entered the room that we were given, and yes we did and our key card worked. That should never ever happen! The next morning at breakfast, the food had run out! Everybody was waiting and hoping for biscuits, gravy, eggs, basically everything! Even the pancake machine was out of order and not working. Very disappointing!

Worst business trip ever - the room and breakfast was great actually, but the problems and treatment by the staff made it a nightmare. The hotel was scheduled through Expedia, which was prepaid, and when I arrived to check-in everything went smoothly. Later that evening I noticed the wifi login not working and I call the front desk to have them tell me "my payment was declined" and that I need to come down and provide a new card or I have to leave. If I didn't call for this wifi issue I would have had a terrible morning surprise. Not only was payment already taken days in advance by Expedia, but they also wouldn't just let my work provide a new card to use to pay for the hotel room - they required my manager to completely recreate an appointment online (wouldn't allow it over the phone) with a new credit card for them to process a new payment - they charged my company twice for the stay and the process took them 3 hours, from 9pm to 11pm that night to fix it. I would have given this 2-3 stars and considered this hotel again if the staff wasn't so extremely rude throughout the entire process, I get mistakes happen and I understand, but speaking to me like I am incapable of paying like I am a freeloader trying to get a free night at the hotel, instead of just helping me get back into the room I already checked into, is not correct. I wish that was the end of it, but every day that I stayed there my keycards to unlock the door stopped working the next day, and I had to stop what I was doing and walk back down to the front desk to get it set back up, every day.

    1. Upon arrival there was no one at the counter to help, when the woman arrived she was extremely rude (and continued to be for the duration of our stay). We had someone with us who needed help getting extra blankets and was not able to get them on her own. She called for extra blankets for our room, and the staff member said she could not leave her post, however when we went down to get them (and every other time we went downstairs) she was not at the desk and could not be found. 2. Our room was NOT cleaned well. There was left-over hair from the previous guests in our sink and shower. 3. When we went to use the pool it appeared to be closed, however we went in and there were people swimming with the lights off (VERY dangerous) we went to ask the front desk (same lady) she said the pool was open and rolled her eyes when we asked that the lights be turned on. I am a travel agent and this leaves me with questions on the integrity of IHG and I will NEVER book clients in this specific hotel again.

We had a great experience here. We got in late and Oscar was so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were safe from ruckus in the parking lot. Maria in the morning helped when our key wouldn't work on the fitness door. Breakfast was great as well. Thanks everyone!

We stopped for a quick night stay. It was very easy to get to the hotel off the highway. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our only hiccup was that there weren't sheets on the pull out couch and we had to go get some at the desk. Not a big deal at all. There is a great breakfast area and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast before getting back on the road. Will be staying here again on our way home. 2 Thumbs Up!

I usually swear by the holiday inn express hotels, they serve breakfast and they had 24 hr coffee. This holiday in isn't as nice as the other holiday inns though, and they stopped serving 24 hr coffee because of covid? In 2023? With no spikes in cases or deaths? 1 star all across the board for this one

The only anomaly was the front desk attendant had her children there while she was working. Not that I did not like it but it does shine the light on professionalism. Then again I was in Derby, KS which does explain a lot.

We stayed here on a quick overnighter on our cross-country trek. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. I am kinda partial to the Holiday Inn chains, as I used to spend upwards of 300 days a year in them for a previous employer. I always enjoy spending the night at a Holiday Inn Express. It's like a home away from home for me.

What a dump! When I stayed there (23 Sep to 24 Sep) there was ONLY SCALDING HOT WATER in the rooms AND in the kitchen. There were NO working Ice machines (the second floor machine made a lot of noise but produced no ice). This place is in urgent need of maintenance. Would NEVER recommend this hotel.

Tub in the bathroom was dirty. Drawers in the room were broken. Phone didn't work. Loud squealing sound from the heater. I would have asked for a different room but the bed was comfortable enough and I didn't think there were high odds that a different room would be better.

The room was comfortable, consistent with most Holiday Inn Express experiences. However, the bathtub was not in good condition, and there was no do not disturb placard anywhere in the room so housekeeping pounded on the door and burst in on us without waiting for a response at 8 am, which seems obscenely early. My apologies to the poor housekeeping staff person who walked in on two very surprised and very naked people. If they won’t provide DND placards, the least they can do is provide housekeeping with updated checkout information. It can’t be this hard, every other IHG property I have ever stayed at has figured it out.

Air conditioner constant fan mode worked so bonus points. Easy check in. Clean room. Breakfast was a good variety. Good and friendly service staff.

Stayed here a night while we were in town. Manager and front desk staff were super friendly. We went on a busy weekend and I will say parking was a bit tough, but the clean rooms, comfy beds and free breakfast more than make it worth it. We will definitely stay here again when we're in town.
