This is an extremely nice hotel. The staff are very friendly. Very modern and welcoming environment. I typically don't have breakfast but decided to try it and I was very impressed. The food was fresh and the presentation was really nice. Chelle took amazing care of me. She was highly professional, hard working, and very friendly. Highly recommended.

It's weird because the room was clean and nice but it was the weirdest setup. No easy way to lay in bed and watch tv. No free coffee downstairs. Breakfast is 15 bucks and 12 dollars for parking. Our view was literally a wall outside the window. The location is amazing though.

Hotel was under renovation, and not just some minor renovations, this was major construction. On my last night here I worked an overnight split shift and came home at 4pm to the room below me being overhauled. I called the front desk and asked if construction could be halted for a bit so that I could get some sleep. Nothing could be done. I asked if they could at least turn down the music that was competing with the hammering and sawing, nothing was done. I wound up going to sleep in my car until they were done working. They should have just shut the hotel down for renovation instead of keep shoving guests into rooms. Their breakfast options was pretty much the typical waffle maker and some warm coffee. Nothing stood out. Also word to the wise. Do not get a room on the East end, there is a doggy day care across the street and at 6am, I’m guessing that is when they let the dogs out. One more thing that the hotel could not control. I’ve been coming here for several years for training and not sure what happened to Old Town but somewhere between last year and present it has become a drag strip for loud exhaust cars and dirt bikes screaming through the streets at all hours of the night. If I have to come to Wichita again, I think I’ll skip old town and stay closer to the airport. I’m not one who likes to post negative reviews, but I wanted to warn y’all to stay away until all the construction is finally done.

The staff was welcoming and helpful during my stay. The rooms were comfortable and fit my need for a couple nights business trip. The bonus on a comfy, familiar Marriott stay is the location. It's near downtown for work, but in the Old Town which has many restaurants, museums, and venues. I loved having easy access to business and pleasure. Definitely will stay there again soon!

Motel is nice and rooms were clean. Normally would give it a 4 or 5 rating. I have stayed here multiple times and never had any issues, however this time someone vandalized my car while it was in the parking lot. I understand the motel does not assume the risk when you park in their lot but since they are charging for parking there could be some enhanced security. There should be at the minimum some video cameras that cover the parking lots, with signs posted. An even better solution would be a person stationed outside to watch the lots at least until the bars close and most of the pedestrian traffic is gone.

East side rooms get a lot of noise from local bars until 2am. Also had a maintenance person barge into room without knocking, totally unacceptable. Hotel staff didn’t seem too worried about when we complained.

Will never stay here again. If you don't want to sleep, it is an adequate hotel. However if you do plan on actually using the room you purchased to rest, you will have no luck with the insanely loud music that carries on until early morning hours. We live in downtown Houston so are very used to busy nightlife, we're just use to buildings actually having insulation so that you can enjoy a night out and peace once inside. When we called down to ask the front desk if this was normal or when it would stop (this was at midnight) he said "welcome to bourbon street of Wichita. Hopefully there won't be a shooting."

All in all, it is a decent hotel. The staff was super nice, and the room was comfortable. The reason 2 stars is check-in time 4p.m. we got here at 6p.m. with a reservation for a king bed and none available. The cleaning staff was still working on them. Also, when I made the reservation, the room was advertised as 142 a night we paid 190. Honestly, that didn't bother me as much as the 2 ply John Wayne toilet paper. I mean, get some angel soft or something. Oh, and the amenities, or should I say what amenities. We have a trip here next month and will not be staying again.

Avoid Room 001 and basement rooms at all costs. Be prepared to receive this room if you’re the last one to check in, as everyone else has already rejected it. Room 001 has no window (only a fake one) and shares a wall with the laundry facilities!! Also, the room has a wind tunnel noise that they have no way of turning off. If you’ve already accepted the room (it’s late, you’re tired), be prepared for the reception desk to be hostile and unhelpful. Tiffany flat out hung up on us!! I’m surprised that her behavior is acceptable. When We called the reception back, Tatiana acknowledged the situation but never even offered an apology.

Location is good near many places to eat and walk. I checked in on Monday evening Aug 01, and the front desk lady was quite rude. But later her colleague helped me out. The room was clean yet felt damp, or wet. The TV lacks internet streaming options. No Prime, no Netflix, no YouTube. They have the doors locked around the building at all times. So when you park behind the building, you have to drag your 70lb luggage all the way around to the front entrance. And upon checking in, you have to go back and place the permit on the car dash or they WILL TOW! So another round trip around the building on a 102 degree day, fun. Inside the hotel feels like it's permanently in the late 90s. Be prepared. All around it was OK, but I have much better options as a Titanium member to stay at, so I will NOT visit again.

Nice hotel in a nice area! The bathrooms could definitely use some updating. Everyone was very friendly except the little girl at the front desk. We had some questions about why we were charged so much and she laughed at me and got up and walked to the back.. you don't treat people that way

I am reminded why I never book fancier hotels, once again. I booked this Marriott by mistake, instead of the Hotel at Old Town, for a wedding. The latter would have had free parking, where I had to pay $11 at this one. Also, no free breakfast like most decent hotels have. It didn’t even have a microwave, fridge, or coffee maker the room. Also, the photo shows how bright the lights were outside the window of our room but I couldn’t even shut the blackout curtains—there were no slide tracks. The more you pay, the less you get. The staff was exceptional, thus the 3 stars for them.

Location is very good for coming to enjoy Old Town area. Going through a huge renovation and no comment of this online. Rooms are spacious and service was great. Walking distance to museums and lots of restaurants and shops.

Terrible service and smelly rooms, Go somewhere else. We reserved a king room with a sofa bed and only received a king bed. We went down to the front desk and called multiple times but no one was available to help. The staff clearing don’t care about the guests and there is no one available to report or resolve issues that come up.

Nice comfortable hotel at a reasonable price point. The hotel rooms are clean and well maintained but aren't necessarily "extravagant." On an A-F scale I'd give it a "B." Big selling point here is being a "B" level hotel within walking distance of downtown Wichita.

Staff is super friendly and pleasant. Room and bathroom are large and clean. Hotel has no food except snack food. Bathtub is super slippery and no nonslip mats are available in the hotel, which was hazardous for my 90yo dad. Nice looking restaurant and sports bar across the street, and other restaurants around the corner. Parking is in back with no rear entrance to the hotel, so again, not ideal if you are 90yo.

I picked the Courtyard Marriott because of its location downtown. We came to a concert at Intrust for my birthday and didn’t want to drive home that night. Which was a smart move because it was The Snoop Dogg concert and we don’t actually remember getting back to the hotel but we woke up there. I do want to add that we did not take anything but we were very close to the stage, so. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel breakfast was wonderful and very tasty. It was really good that all we had to do was stumble downstairs. The rooms are a nice size and the shower is big enough for 2. The next day we went and did some sight seeing just walking around the area. We had a really great stay.

I gave the hotel a review as they asked for on their website and they blocked it from posting so I’m here now. We arrived to check into our room at 4 pm. We have never had an issue with any other hotel we have stayed at when I have booked the room for both me and my wife. If I’m traveling with her I have always been the one to do it. She works for the government and was there with a group from the City of Abilene. When the desk clerk asked for the ID, my wife immediately said she had it in her purse. Because the room was in my name, they would not accept my wife’s government ID for the reservation room rate. The desk clerk was not willing to honor our reservation or transfer it to my wife (the hotel was overbooked). From this point on, the desk clerk became rude and snarky because we were not going to back down. We immediately asked to speak to the manager on site, the desk clerk said that there was no manager present. The desk clerk then told us our room rate would be $140 more than our reservation. We asked her to call a manager so that we could resolve the matter. The other desk clerk then lied to us and said he was the manager. He then refused to assist us any further and cancelled our reservation and said he was going to call the police if we did not leave. We asked that they print us out a receipt showing a zero balance on our card, they refused to print out a receipt. The following week I called the manager’s office and left a message, I did get a call back later in the day and unfortunately I was unavailable. I called them 3 more times and never had anyone answer the call or return a call. On the bright side we discovered the Hotel At Old Town. They were courteous, less expensive than the Courtyard, and have magnificent rooms.

Terrible staff- not so much at the front desk where most are at least semi-decent with a very low bar baseline, but the meal area is terrifying. Zero inclination toward hospitality. You meet their hateful stares for no reason at all and it’s hard to swallow your food under those stares.

Nice hotel, clean and the staff was helpful and pleasant. Large room. Would recommend Courtyard Wichita. The only thing that was a problem was the workers park in guest registration and block the guest registration parking. They have been parked out front since 6 am and it is now 3:30 pm. We had to back out into traffic after loading our luggage.

We recently stayed in the Rock Island Lounge suite over the weekends and enjoyed a nice friend group reunion/bachelorette/bachelor party. The lounge itself is absolutely stunning with plenty of room for the ladies to get ready, lay out a mimosa bar, a charcuterie buffet, play cards at the table, watch football, and just spend quality time together. The bedroom was spacious and pristine, perfect for our weekend stay. Breakfast downstairs at the buffet was DELICIOUS both mornings. The staff was wonderful as well, and very accommodating for all of us. We really appreciated the walkability to so many amazing Wichita staples. Great food and so much to do.

Perfect location in old town Wichita! So many place within walking distance. 5 story courtyard with professional friendly staff. Make sure to get a parking pass if parking on the property. Room was clean and fresh when we checked in .

I stayed at a recently refurbished room. It did not look or feel like it was. The heater was unbelievably loud and woke me up everytime it turned on throughout the entire night. The hotel was in construction, so I could not be outside the room during the day. Not sure if they are planning to update the gym, but they are in desperate need to.

Overall a really good, not great, first stay. I stayed two nights and honestly the only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is the rooms and especially the bathrooms - both need updated. My bathroom had a "home type" bath faucet that you pull up and push down the knob. Also, the shower tile wasn't that clean. Just overall, the rooms need updated. Lobby was nice and mostly modern. Service from Willie and Tiffany was amazing; very friendly; check in was fast and they had a room ready at 11am, which was really convenient for my trip arrival.

Upon arriving at the hotel we had to wait for two separate homeless people to walk across the drive before we could pull up and unload our vehicle. Which isn’t the hotel’s fault but it wasn’t a great first impression. The lady at the front was friendly and it was a smooth check in. Heading to the elevator I noticed the atrium was very dark and outdated, a little creepy. Walked into the room it was hot and humid so we turned the AC down and waited for it to cool off which it never did. The room was large and clean except for a hand towel in the bathroom that had a large stain on it. The carpet around the AC unit was damp. We didn’t ask for another room despite it being 75 degrees since we had been driving for over 8 hours and were exhausted and ready to just go to bed. Due to the cooling issue and damp carpet I would not stay here again.

Nicest Courtyard I’ve ever stayed at. Great location in Old Town. Breakfast was great but prices for breakfast varied every morning- had the same 3 days in a row. Friday night the hotel parking was used by non-hotel attendees for sports bar across street which limited parking in both hotel lots. Staff was excellent

Staff was very nice! So they get 5 stars. There isn’t a WOW factor. The hotel cost does not reflect its value. The rooms are oversized in comparison to others which is nice but (needed room updates) and amenities are underwhelming for the cost. Nothing, even parking, is included in your stay. If you have to stay downtown, maybe it’s comparable. Our usual stay at the Hampton Inn with breakfast and parking included will be sufficient.

Okay! when you pay extra for parking an the concert is over there is no parking. So the front desk dont care they tell ya go to the other Marriott.. WOW Also A/C didn't work very good in room 341

**EDIT** Added a star as we heard back from the accountant and GM, and a refund for the double charge has posted. I am sure that most experiences here are decent, but ours was slightly less so. We checked in with our dog & paid the pet fee. When we asked the front desk attendant if there was somewhere close by to take Biscuit to relieve herself, she said she didn't know of a grassy area... Fine. We walked around in the rain and found a spot. We then left for dinner and returned to the hotel to find that our bags (and subsequently some of the contents) on the hotel room floor were wet, because the AC unit was leaking and a large portion of the carpeted floor was soaked. We called the front desk and they did not offer to change our room. They simply stated that they would make a note for maintenance in the morning. I would not even leave a review if not for our final complaint. We booked the room through Priceline and were charged for the room through Priceline. We soon discovered that we were also charged by Marriott. We waited to see if the charge would drop but it did not. It took a couple of weeks for my husband to finally connect with a team member who could resolve this, and the double charge was finally reversed.

Yolanda was amazing 🤩 we were on the first leg of our trip and off the bat she made a huge connection with Joseph and myself. I noticed that she also connected with other guests as well. That connection makes a Huge difference and the personal interaction make a difference also. Even though we didn't have breakfast there on her first morning of hosting breakfast.. she did a wonderful job.
