By far one of my best hotel stays in a small town. I was in town on a business trip and wasn't expecting much but boy was I wrong. The hotel is located on a river and which makes for a great view. They have a great areas for work in the lobby with plenty of tables and outlets. The weather was great so I was able to work outside on their patio which also has a beautiful view of the river. After work I walked along the river, did about a 2.5 mil walk which nice an relaxing. The restaurant in hotel was great as well.

Good food, good service, a variety of spaces for meetings of many sizes. Typical of a business destination it is pricey if you are not on an expense account. Location is convenient for downtown based activities. Nice views of downtown and the river activity areas.

Front desk, dang, I cant remember her name… great service, not just saying, someone needs to recruit her. Great hotel, vending machines took my money twice tho… restaurant inside was pretty good & pleasant atmosphere. Great views, great location, great for baseball or convention center… 2nd stay

Great hotel from the outside and inside lobby. Ok service. The regular check in swing shift clerk kind of rude. She cares more about checking in the airline crews staying at the hotel than the regular high paying customer. Room was not ready at the check in time, but I have a suspicion that it was, and it was given to one of the airline crew checking at the same time with us, so we had to wait. Very outdated room. Pure ugly. Old stained carpet. Mattress was off the bed support. Pillows linen not ironed. The room looks old like being part of the 1980-year style. Only one chair at a table for 2 people. Only one night stand/table for a king bed for two. Not worth the money. The hotel restaurant food was good but excessive priced for what you get. The restaurant is always out of items listed on their menu. Nothing within the hotel walking distance to do. We will not recommend.

There for a concert. Had a wonderful time. Check in was smooth and easy. Room had an exceptional view of the river. Spent a little while at bar with drinks and food. Everything was good / casual atmosphere. Speaking with the shuttle driver he was very helpful in dropping us off at the venue and picking us up. All around great experience.

The room, lobby, and restaurant was comfortable and well-kept. The location was great, with views along the river and centrally located in the city. We had no problems with the room. Parking in the garage was smooth. However, the longer we stayed, the more inconveniences we experienced. The elevators were out of service multiple times during our stay and the stairs have no lobby access. The pool is too cold for my daughter to swim for more than 10 min. The online info was incorrect—there is no laundry available on site. We were charged for a simple package delivered to the hotel. What would have been an overall great experience was consistently marked by negative moments.

Nice hotel. Great conference center. Location is dead. Not sure if witchita is dead, but nothing noteworthy around this place. Gym was decent, pool was closed. Breakfast buffet was good. Don't get chicken wings.

Ive stayed at this hotel many times. Most have been good experience but the last experience was awful. Would have liked to get a good night sleep and was until the alarm clock went off at 4am which we did not set. Wake up and enjoy a lukewarm shower at best. I checked out online left cards in room. Stopped by the desk and asked if parking need to be validated to get out. Front desk person said you have to pay to get out. Pretty sure parking was an "amenity" . Tried to pay said we now needed to pay $24 to get out.The kiosk to get out was not working, would not take payment. My wife went to the front desk, twice now. Front desk person was rude to her and said we will fix it. Come to find out they sure enough charged us another $12 to get out. Frustrating to say the least. A suggestion would be is to park outside of the garage so you do not have to deal with the rude front desk people. Thats what I will do next time.

Do not stay if you are disabled or have mobility issues. No room to park near lobby to unload luggage. They only have one baggage cart and no valets to assist. Then parking garage is at opposite end of complex 1000+ feet from lobby. Also, you have to use stairs from garage to get back to lobby or go outside in weather for flat surface to walk on. I will not stay here again nor recommend to friends.

Rooms were clean and super nice! Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Came out to our car dead with no way to start it. After waiting 2 hours for a tow truck to come jump it, I went inside and asked if they could jump it. I believe Ryan and Nick came out and jumped it for us. Definitely helpful and thankful for them! Will definitely be staying with them next time we come back to Wichita!

We checked in and did not notice we had no bath towels, until I was ready to step into the shower at midnight. Roomy called the front desk and they would have them at the front desk. The person at the front desk had hand towels. When asked if this was their largest towel, was told yes it was a bath towel. I made it work. We finally got bath towels the next day. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable and the staff were helpful and professional. Please educate your front desk staff the difference between a hand towel and a bath towel.

Perfect location right off the river. We were there during the riverfest to see Hamilton at the Performing Arts Center II. Great staff, they really kept people out who were not supposed to be there. The security was awesome. They do have room service, but you can also get food delivered. They will not let the delivery person up, so you must meet them in the lobby. You have to use your key card to access the elevator, which is awesome. Walking distance to the Arts Center.

This place was just phenomenal all the way around!!! The Location is just minutes away from the airport, the service there is just impeccable the restaurant that is on site is just great not too many hotel restaurants are great but this one is just awesome the food was good the service was good even the café service is good as well. The South parking is $12 a day in the garage. The beds are just so comfortable the view from the hotel is breathtaking. So many great things to say about this place

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Terrible customer service. Made a reservation on-line and paid for breakfast with it too. Tried to check in only to be told "We don't have a room ready for you. You'll have to come back." We had already been on the road for 4.5 hours with 2 toddlers and when we went back to check in they couldn't pull up our full reservation and upon asking about breakfast the front desk lady said "Prove it." WOW. They were rude the whole time we were there. When we had a question or asked for extra blankets they acted like it was an inconvenience to even talk to us. Our room even freaked of sweage. Oh, and it was so "nice" to see homeless people bathing in the waterfall/fountain from our room.

Been here for 1 week. I've had breakfast, dinner, sent in laundry, had drinks in the bar, conversations with the front desk and restaurant staff and all have been excellent. 1st time at a Hyatt and it's very enjoyable.

Very clean hotel with good amenities. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice, nothing special, and the bathroom is a bit dated. But good basic hotel for the price.

This is one of my favorite hotels ever!! They have amazing customer service. The bar always has amazing drinks, and the pizza is top notch 👌. The pool is heated so no matter what time of the year it's got a great temperature and there are two hot tubs as well. The patio is my favorite place to hang out because you can hang out, drink, and see the river right outside the hotel. I will always recommend the Hyatt if you're visiting Wichita.

Room was nice and clean, very comfortable. The only disappointment is that the kitchen closed earlier than the restaurant. We got in late from driving 7 hours and was hoping to just go downstairs for food. We ended up having to leave the hotel for dinner. We went to another hotel's restaurant. Having said that, I would still recommend the hotel. The area was very nice by the river.

Wow! What a view! The rooms were clean, the buffet they set up for our group was terrific. Mr Omar quickly responded to our group's needs during breakfast. I was on the 16th floor and spent a lot of time overlooking the city and relaxing. Not one complaint from us.

I have stayed at this hotel many, many times. There is room for improvement, the rooms are very small, there's no desk which is a shame because this is a business focused hotel. The TV's are very large but the entertainment is horrible you can never connect google Chromecast and nobody will be able to provide help. the channels are very limited, I think they want you to buy a movie at $20. the worst part about this hotel is the restaurant and room service please use caution the food is horrible and never updated. I DISLIKE the new water system platinum members are given 2 cheap water bottles per day they used to give them out at the front desk they now place them in the room with a note free to platinum but if you are not, you will be charged $3.00. if you book 3rd party or its under a conference or business they will not see your status also it takes space and probably makes extra work for housekeeping. I hate to name names but Christina, Alyson, and Breanna at the front are very poor at customer service and unfriendly. The manager Deanna is amazing very friendly and eager to help. on the positive side of Hyatt Wichita, they have made some recent improvements The rotating door is gone could never wheel your luggage in, the bell carts are out and ready to use, they have a new scent machine in the lobby, and FINALLY room service is back and they serve on actual plates again but please improve the food! however they still base the housekeeping on COVID you have to request. the only other area i would ask for improvements is the pool area not always clean and DONT trust the hot tub there's always things floating in there. this is the 3rd best hotel in downtown Wichita

Oh, the finery of this hotel...I saw with my own eyes! It was a sight to behold, a feast for the senses. The fabrics were so rich and luxurious, the colors so vibrant and eye-catching. The stitching was so intricate and precise, the designs so elegant and timeless. I could not help but be transported to another world, a world of beauty and grace. I felt like a princess, a queen, a goddess. I could have stayed there forever, just admiring the finery. But alas, all good things must come to an end. I had to leave, but I will never forget the finery I saw with my own eyes. It was a truly magical experience. Finery is more than just a beautiful object. It is a statement of who we are, what we value, and what we aspire to be. It can be a source of confidence, power, and even magic. When we wear finery, we feel our best selves. We feel confident and powerful. We feel like we can conquer the world. And sometimes, we even feel like we can do magic. Finery can also be a way to connect with our past. It can remind us of our heritage, our culture, and our traditions. It can help us to feel grounded and connected to something larger than ourselves. Of course, finery is not just about the past. It is also about the future. It is about our dreams and aspirations. It is about the person we want to be. When we wear finery, we are not just dressing up. We are stepping into our power. We are becoming the person we were meant to be. This hotel helped me to see that by setting a prime example of finery.

I stayed here for 3 nights in early July. I've stayed before and it was good. However, this time the service was not so good. Check-in was at 3 pm. Arrived at 4 pm and the room still was not ready. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the room. We were coming directly from a Marriott in a different city that was strict about having rooms ready no later than the stated check-in time, so this was a turn off. If you do not complain then there is no standard, check-in time means nothing, and you get whatever they decide to give you. Go up to the room and the last guest's room service dishes are still waiting to be picked up in the hall. Ordered towels by phone twice the first morning. After 2 hours, towels never come. Had to get dressed and go to the front desk to retrieve my own towels.

I won't even mention the check-in experience where I waited in line and got skipped. The rooms were fine... until we pulled back the blanket. There were some sort of red stains on the sheet (maybe sauce IDK). Then, when we requested room service and extra towels that we never received, we were told that the system showed "delivered." My husband had to go downstairs and pick them up himself. The breakfast buffet was fine at the on-site restaurant. There were kid-friendly options at a reasonable price. Dinner was sub-par for the price. The indoor pool is good if you're a fan of chlorine toxicity. All-in-all, very substandard for a 3.5 ⭐️ hotel. I have had much better experiences at other Hyatt Hotels.

The ladies at the front desk (Deanna was at checkin and totally forgot the two other ladies names working on second shift) but they were the best in customer service! So friendly and hilarious. The shuttle service guy was also super friendly and great at driving from the hotel to the airport. Lobby was clean and had Starbucks drinks. The bar area was a typical bar for a hotel. Also the access to bikes and scooters was a plus to hop across the river to check out coffee, dinning, and bar options. Overall the rooms were pretty clean. I had a decent view of the river outside my window. TV was nice and big. Only downside was having a room that had a connecting door. Could definitely hear what was going on in the room next to me. The conference area was a little off to the side of the hotel. Smaller rooms felt a little disconnected from the larger rooms. I really couldn't stand the scent that was being squired into the air down by the larger rooms. Huge headache and sniffle fest. Other than that, it was a great stay (mainly due to the amazing staff) :)

Dirty, need to dust and vacuum more than the floors. Bathroom fan did not work and was dusty. Also windows do not open? Pillows a little stiff, bed was firm but comfortable. Elevators were awesome, very fast and efficient. Parking was not cool, voucher/pass for free garage parking should be included. Overall I enjoyed my stay and was happy, but for the price I expected a bit more. Also last call at the hotel bar is 11:20pm, you can thank me later.

Nice, beautiful hotel. Great staff, great food. Parking garage was nice. Room needed a good deep clean. Furniture was a little worse for wear. Needed some updates. Otherwise, great stay!!!

I did a massage for one of the guests at this hotel. Really beautiful place inside. Lobby is clean, extra spacious, and the staff were very helpful. I needed help with my massage table because the wind was blowing so extremely hard, I could not even open my doors. Andre, who was a jack of all trades, was extremely kind and gentlemanly to help me out. The room I set up in was very simple... a bed, a television, two night stands, and a breakfast table with two chairs. There was a shelf as well to store your personal belongings. No fridge, no microwave, I don't even think there was a coffee maker in there. Bathroom was spacious. Nice decor, super simple room for one or two people max.

  • 3/5 Allen J. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were clean with a big flat screen TV. Next to the river walk but not really close to much else. Several blocks from anything. As for the service, they were severely understaffed in the restaurant & bar. Took over 20 minutes to get the salad and then received the entree 2 minutes later. Entree was just warm like it had been finished for several minutes before being delivered. Next day at lunch I had what the person I was with had the night before and was about 1/3 the size for the same price. For one of the better hotels in Wichita I expected much better.

Spent our 19th Anniversary weekend here and it is by far the best hotel I've been to. The view from our room was breathtaking morning and night, the service was fantastic and it was very quiet at night. We will be back!

  • 5/5 Allison E. 2 years ago on Google
We had a great stay. The room was quiet (we didn’t really hear any noise from neighboring rooms). We also had a great view of the river and the city lights at night. It’s a perfect location to access old town and the museums easily.

The staff is kind, friendly, accommodating and professional! The restaurant manager, who also bartends was helpful in giving my husband suggestions of some breweries in the area. Patty at the restaurant for breakfast was a very special lady! The food was excellent. My husband had a filet that was cooked to perfection! I had a gigantic chicken Ceasar salad, so good!! The girls at the coffee bar were darling!! Very sweet!! We will definitely stay here again! We stayed for the weekend, 2 nights, 3 days.

All the staff was very good and the bartender who we didn't get his name tall gentleman with grey hair was totally awesome making the best old fashion my wife has ever had. That's a hard drink to make. The breakfast waitress also didn't get her name but her and my wife conversed alot we made her laughas well as she did us. But she did tell me she was originally from Chicago was the best. If she reads this she will remember us. You should give them both a raise.

Hyatt didn't disappoint again. Spent a week here. Excellent customer service provided by front desk staff, the bar and during breakfast. I asked for the top floor and they happily accommodated me on the 18th floor with views of the waterways. Very nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. Housekeeping is only offered if you ask the front desk due to covid. Great location not far away from restaurants and shopping. Nothing's nearby within walking distance though. Self and valet parking available. $12 for self park in the garage, safe. My only disappointment was I didn't take more pictures since it's definitely worth showcasing.

It's a nice hotel but a little awkward to get to and get parked. Service was amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and service minded. My room was clean and bed was comfortable.

  • 5/5 Nick W. 1 year ago on Google
Typical king room with separate bathroom and tub shower. Pretty standard quality of hyatts. Great location on the river walk and across the street from the minor league baseball stadium. Good breakfast as well. Only complaint is there is no microwave in room. (17th floor has one by the ice maker) The mini fridge is TINY so limit what food you bring and make sure it’s in small containers. Will hold a 12 pack of cans.

I was on a long trip and stayed at a variety of hotels. This one was the only one to actually read and took care of my specific requests—namely a feather free room. In addition, their bar and grill was attentive and accurate (Andrea) with orders. I wish there were more Hyatts. I really enjoyed my time here.

  • 4/5 Adam C. 1 year ago on Google
Debatably the best hotel in the city with the river being within walking distance as well as the convention center and the minor league baseball team. Good self-parking setup (connected garage with in-out privileges). Newer rooms with larger TVs. Smaller windows in some rooms. Most rooms face north and south, meaning you have a freeway view or a downtown view. If you want a direct view of the river, you need to specify such in your reservation (west). Reasonable gym and indoor pool. Some noise problems. Globalists: No Club Lounge, breakfast at restaurant (strangely) excluded both buffet options, had to order from menu, charged gratuity.

Nice Hotel and room. One issue we had was the sheets that were on our bed had stains on them. It's a pretty pricy place for that kind of thing, but they folded the stained part in under the bed so you can't see it until you unfold it. The staff was very helpful and nice. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the sheets.

  • 4/5 Damian P. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel, staff were wonderful everything was clean. So why 4 stars, the breakfast. I get it's $200 a night and it's right on the river so I get that. But the breakfast needs to be included. A breakfast bar would be much better than an over priced microwave burrito. I alsogot charged for coffee, seriously coffee?? I know there's coffee in the room but it's so much nicer to sit downstairs on the patio with coffee that is already made. I know the CEO is not going to change anything because of my review but please free coffee!!

We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights with my daughter’s team. Our first room we checked into had evidence of bed bugs. After lugging our family and all of our luggage back down to the lobby, we were given a second room on a different floor. After we unloaded everything, checked the beds, and I began getting my kids ready for bed. A hotel employee walked into our room unannounced while I was brushing my toddlers teeth. Didn’t knock or anything. Then, after getting our kids to bed, my husband and I laid down. He immediately felt something and got up and turned the lights on. There was a package wrapper from ladies under garments in our bed. Then, we noticed SEVERAL pieces of hair in the bed that weren’t ours as well. The sheets were not cleaned or changed. We were thoroughly displeased with our stay here. The rest of our daughters team had a great experience, so maybe we were the exception. We were told that we would get a full refund since we left and went to a different hotel, but that was 7 days ago and our refund has yet to process.

Always enjoy staying at the Hyatt. The hotel is well located to enjoy the many activities in Wichita while walking down town. The staff was professional and helpful. The bar and dining area were great as always. The food was excellent and service was fast. The on site coffee shop also provides a nice selection of beverages. This was my first time back since the pandemic and the room I had, a corner king, needs some work. The carpet was worn, furnishings showed their age and cleaning could have been better. Table was sticky from soda and the nightstand lamp was covered in sticky coke. Not the quality I expect when staying at a Hyatt. Hopefully, room standards improve on my next visit as it truly is a great hotel in Wichita, Kansas.
