I was super excited to have a relaxing little getaway to celebrate my birthday with my husband. I could see a lot of potential for a good stay, but this particular trip was a disaster. We couldn't check in until 6pm. When we finally did get a room, I had to use a towel to sweep and mop the disgusting floor that had piles of mud and dirt swept under the edge of the bed, and sticky spots in various places. The front desk tried to make it right with a late checkout and $40 food vouchers for a mediocre, overpriced meal that took nearly 2 hours to complete (we never did get our appetizer even though we ordered it twice.) While eating dinner, our waitress was terribly condescending, accosting my husband for not handing his Paper menu back quickly enough... "this is a fancy establishment sir", while ten feet away literally dozens of children were running and screaming through the common areas making so much noise my husband and I had to yell to hear each other. In summary, it was a terribly disappointing birthday. While the front desk should be commended for their efforts, it just wasn't the relaxing experience I expected at Marriott. Had to clean my own room. Didn't have enough towels, robes, etc. Wasted 4+ hours waiting. Dozens of loud, unattended children EVERYWHERE. I don't know if I would be willing to pay for this place again.

I stayed for 7 days for a business trip. The room was comfortable and nice, but on the third day of not getting my trash taken out or getting new towels, I called the front desk. They said now with covid, unless you request it, your room doesn't get cleaned until the fourth day. They sent someone to get the trash and towels and give me more. The next day, nobody cleaned the room. I had to track a cleaning lady down to get a new role of toilet paper. On the fifth day, I called the front desk and let them know that my room wasn't cleaned and they said they were behind because of a big party and she would get someone up to get trash and give me new towels. When I got back in the evening, the privacy sign was on my door know. That was upsetting. My room hasn't been touched. I'm leaving today and my room hasn't been cleaned in seven days.

I have been here a few times and never upgraded. Also, I wish customer service reps will take extra times to explain benefits and ambassador welcome gift. No one has told me of it or offered it in the 3 times I've stayed here. Otherwise, it's at a great location.

Had a conference here. Is very nice, I think newly remodeled. I saw a couple of for jams that had been missed in the painting, but the room was very nicely remodeled. The area we used for the conference was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. The pool was also very nice. It's a crossover indoor to outdoor when it's open. It was early May and the outdoor was still closed when we were there. Looked like a nice restaurant inside as well although I didn't eat there.

Had to check in late, we were allowed to do a room upgrade to add access to M Lounge, was assigned a room with no bathtub so had to ask for another room they kindy allowed too. I love the bed and pillow soft to my liking. They could do better with the M Lounge not as shown on the website. But it was an overall good stay. We will stay again. Highly recommended!

This hotel was one of the best stays I’ve had. The hotel is clean and staff is waiting to greet you upon entering. While the hotel is relatively close to the highway, there was little to no noise from it. The rooms and lobby are modern and well thought out. The lobby is spacious, and the restaurant has a delicious breakfast buffet and cooked-to-order items. Highly recommend. Wish I could’ve stayed longer but only needed the hotel for an overnight stay.

Easy access on the east side of city. I was only there one night, a Monday...I was in and out once in the evening to visit a friend. Lots of travelers....very busy at 4-5 pm prime check-in time on Monday. Room was very clean.... AC worked great...needed it, as temp was 106.

After an exhausting day of traveling for many hours we were quite disappointed when we arrived and our room was not readily available. My wife is currently battling cancer but had her mind set on visiting Wichita to surprise our grandson for his birthday. We attended the restaurant and we met Miss Norma Jean. The wife and myself have never out of 33 years of being married and enjoyed A stranger's company as much as we enjoyed her. She has a joyful and beautiful confidence that permeates through the way she was able to connect with my wife and self and other tables around us. She gave great recommendations for attractions in Wichita around town and knowledgeable on many different subjects. Been a long time since we've seen someone enjoy their job and to be so passionate about connecting with others. So thank you Marriott your only as good as the people you hire. Our room not being ready turned out to be the best part of our stay.

Nice hotel but the staff pulled a bait and switch on me that i have never experienced in any Marriott property. I felt cheated and stuck in a place i didn't want to be. I called in before making my reservation because i had a special rate available with an explore rate form. I have used this in the past at other properties with no problems. However, different hotels have different requirements. Reason I called in to confirm. The gentleman proceeded to tell me to book online then bring in the form in person for the special rate. When i arrived, I was received by a different staff member who refused to accept my special rate. She then also refused to cancel my reservation which was now double the regular price. I did everything i was told by the staff and still they refused to help me. I would recommend better training for the staff and just better customer service as a whole. Tricking people into paying higher rates leaves a poor taste on a customer. Not up to the standard that the Marriott brand usually delivers. Needless to say i don't recommend visiting this location solely based on the customer services received.

Just passing through so we spent one night here. Great location right off the highway with lots of free parking. Check in was fast and cordial, and the I was upgraded to high floor due to my status. The rooms look newly remodeled but it gives off more of a Courtyard vibe, the bathroom was very tight with the sink and vanity outside of the door. The shower stall is very tight and the toilet is right up next to the wall. I am not a large person and it was still close quarters. They get bonus points for putting in a footbar for women to use when shaving their legs. The room was clean, the mattress was too soft and was slanted, I felt like I would roll out of the bed. The AC was set to 64 degrees and the room was clearly in the 70s, by morning it was a little cooler. We ate dinner at the bar, not bad wings and club sandwich. Overall I would stay again, not bad for one night.

This is one of the better hotels I've stayed in. Included at no additional cost is washers with complimentary auto add soap and softener and dryers, 3 of each machine. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful. One person, Neema, is always so helpful and friendly and a joy to work with. The hotel restaurant make a awesome KC Strip steak, they have a pizza that could be shared by 3 people and their nachos are plentiful as well. Breakfast buffet is easy and you can get stuff to go if in a hurry. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness room and a large patio which all are great.

Great hotel with helpful staff. This was a nice experience for a quick stop. The location can be a bit tricky on how to get to it from the highway, so a mapped location is certainly helpful. The interior is a little dark when it comes to the carpets, furniture, curtains, wood interior and darker marble looking counters. There were a few events happening while we were here so the location seemed quite busy. We did not have the opportunity to eat at the breakfast space. But the aroma certainly drew us in.

It's a great location for work Outside city but close enough for a short drive into town. Security for the hotel was great, patrol outside and room key needed to use elevator. No microwave in room, only microwave was first floor.

When we departed the room for the day we told the maid service that the room would be empty for the rest of the day. She acknowledged that. Ten hours later upon our return we found the room in the same condition as when we had departed. Beds unmade, bathroom not cleaned and towels not replenished. The food, however, was excellent. The room was was somewhat over priced.

This hotel is in a great location, is very clean, and everything you would expect from a full service Marriott! The pool was warm, and we loved that it was indoor/ outdoor. The room service and restaurant had decent food, but be sure to check your order. On two different occasions, items were wrong or left out. We were in a rush and didn't say anything , I'm sure if we did, they would have handled it as the service from the front desk was great. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Wichita.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay better than I hoped. The dining and lounge areas were spotless and attractively decorated, topped only by the food. Both meals we had, dinner and breakfast, were perfect. We arrived late in the day, and the luxurious room was exactly what we needed. Even while a powerful storm raged outside, the room remained quiet. I wouldn't know what to suggest to make it better. The stay exceeded our needs in every way.

Excellent service, from check in to the men that fixed the toilet with courtesy and a smile. To front desk staff, to the food service staff, kudos to you all. Please know that your good work is being seen even if it is said or not. Continue to do good work. :)

The hotel lobby looks great, but as you take a closer look, there are some real improvements to be made. The elevators are secure with needing your key to access your floor. Once we checked into our room, we had ordered a pack n play for our daughter to sleep in (in advance, which was not in the room). Upon opening and setting it up, we discovered it needed a real good cleaning as you can see from the pictures...a real disappointment for this hotel chain. The bottom of the shower needed some deep cleaning with a magic eraser to get the grime off others' feet washed away. Our other daughter begged to go into the pool, which we allowed only to find more grime and lack of cleaning. I realized that with indoor/outdoor pools, it's hard to always have clean, but cleaning the glass should be done... See pictures of who knows what on the glass the water is filled with black grime from trees and debris from landscaping. Paid extra for the M-Club, and all they had was coffee, a few soda choices, and granola bars, but the website advertised snacks and hot meals that were not present. Overall, I was very disappointed with the hotel. Will not be back and unlikely to visit Marriott for quite some time.

Had a great stay here during a very hectic weekend due to a sports tournament. The staff at the front desk were very nice. They accommodated us when I made a request. The hotel is fairly large which makes it ideal for events or for hosting several different sports teams at once. The pool was really neat. You could swim under a window/wall to go outside. Of course the kids loved that. The room was nice. Not outdated. I will say there were a couple spots on the wall that need touch up, I'm assuming due to people throwing their suitcases on the ottoman in the room. Thebroom layout was ok. The room we stayed in had a king sized bed and a chaise which could be used to sleep on. It was close to the wall so it did make opening the curtains a bit difficult, but there just curtains. The room had a view of a small portion of the roof and a very nice pond. The bathroom was great. The Rainhead shower head was great. Definitely relaxing.

Nice big windows. Needed soap in the room. The bathroom downstairs near the conference room had water everywhere. Analy in the breakfast area was awesome, but other staff seemed annoyed they had to work.

Stayed for a night. Found a bed bug. Let the front desk know. They apologized and refunded the room. If it weren't for the bed bug this place would have got a better review.

The hotel was beautiful. We got in kind of late so there wasn’t a line to check in. The decor made it feel like a luxury hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff was fantastic. Like overly nice (it was such a pleasant change from home.) Breakfast was delicious. I wish we had more time to stay, we would have loved to check out the pool.

This has become our favourite hotel to stay at when we travel through Kansas. In fact, I think it's my favourite hotel anywhere. Always clean and bright. Feels like staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel for 2-3 star prices. By far the best experience and rooms anywhere. I only wish that breakfast was included however the cost is low and still worth it!

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. This has officially become my favorite Marriott hotel in Wichita. I cannot believe that I just found this spot. I was in town for business and I have nothing but good reviews. Nice room, the bartenders were great, as well as front desk staff. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner. Nothing but good things to say!

Here for a conference and so far frustrated with my stay. Water fountains don't work and they're not offering other options for water (except buying bottles). Meeting space is set classroom and there's glasses for water at every seat but no water in the room. Not enough seats at general sessions, I'm paying a lot of money to sit on the floor or stand. Thermostat reads 60° but it's warm in my room. Unsure what's going on but there is a tinny noise that is scratchy and kept me up all night in the room. There's also a blinking light right over the beds that made it hard to fall asleep.

The room was very nice and clean. Way more pricy then this Oklahoma ranch had liked and a little more formal then what I am used to. But the absolute best part of my stay was a very good wake up to a young lady named ( Tyla ) was struggling with breakfast and prices but her upbeat down to earth attitude and ability to deal with my indecisive budget breakfast decisions. But after being very patient worked with me and preformed the most amazing gathering of most of my options on a budget. Made it very comfortable and easy thank you l.

This is one of our favorite Marriotts so we drove 30 minutes out of our way to stay here for the night! We had a couple of issues and we just left so this review is fresh. First, the pool is half in and half outside so we got in and it felt great until the cold water from outside came in and froze us right out! Second, we ordered the NY strip for dinner and it was so fatty and chewy we had to send it back. I had the chicken pasta and it was very good but way too salty. What really set me off was this morning in the M Lounge. Breakfast started at 7 but we were up early so we sat in there waiting patiently. My son was more well behaved then he has been all year. The man (I will not call him a gentleman) that was getting breakfast ready greeted everyone but us. He was obviously annoyed that there were kids in there even though they were doing absolutely nothing. We waited until 7:05 and breakfast was not out but the man put out 3 muffins. My son took one. The guy came back out and noticed one was gone. He looked at my son, rolled his eyes and shook his head. He took his time putting stuff out and by 7:15, we left, hungry. If he has a problem with kids, maybe he shouldn’t work in the hospitality industry! I told the front desk about the horrible interaction with this man to which they replied “we will let the restaurant manager know.” Thanks, I hope you do. Like I said, we love this hotel and will stay here again but hopefully that rude man will have moved on by then.

Wonderful stay at the Marriott for the 5th Annual Kansas Prevention Conference! My room was quiet, welcoming and clean. The staff was attentive, friendly, and informative. Thank you for providing a home away from home experience!

Danielle and Tisha were awesome and helpful. Their attitudes will definitely get me to come back here. Autumn was also my server and she was very nice and bubbly. She kept checking on me to make sure I was ok in the bar area. Please make sure they all get recognized for their great service.

Highlights: -responsive and kind front desk staff -great conference area -nice bar/restaurant area -close to Kellogg allowing quick access to anywhere in town -comfortable and clean rooms -very hot water and great water pressure -short paved walking trail behind hotel Only downside: I requested a room away from high traffic areas but was assigned to a room in the middle of the hall right next to the elevator. It was awful. Very noisy.

Was in Wichita for a tourism conference (I know something about hotels). Super clean rooms, fantastic staff, great place for a conference in Wichita. I had a couple of requests (extra coffee, blanket, etc). They were very polite and eager to please. The conference food wasn't the typical "dry chicken." From a full and hot breakfast to multi-course lunches, the meals were very tasty! On the last day I checked out by 11 AM and was in a rush to get to meetings. In my haste, I forgot a hanging bag in the closet until I was almost on the highway late in the day. I called and the housekeeping staff had it (and a smile) waiting at the front desk for me. The tip I offered wasn't accepted. They said "it's just our pleasure to serve our guests." I can't say enough about the management and staff. One of my BEST experiences in a hotel. Thank you!

Really impressed by this hotel. Super duper clean, post pandemic. I have not stayed in many hotels since COVID restrictions have been lifted, so this one exceeded expectations! AND the conference food at Breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent! Not rubber, very tasty. Highly recommended and there is a fab Costco across the street! 😊
