I needed another night added to my reservation (stayed 3 weekday nights) and they charged me 30% more for the room without telling me there was a up charge for adding the extra night. When I asked about it they admitted I should have been told, but still did nothing to resolve it. My sink also did not drain properly and would pool up in the basin and was not fixed while staying there. Their pool was also closed during our stay when I had called to ask if they had a pool they didn’t mention it was closed. Every time I went to the counter to check in, buy things from the concessions, checkout… I waited for a while before anyone acknowledged me. I won’t be back.

My mother was having back surgery and we were originally told by her Dr that she would be in the hospital a minimum of 2 nights. I booked a 2 night stay for 2 rooms. After surgery the Dr said she was doing well and we could possibly leave the next day and not need the full 2 nights in the hospital. When I checked in, I explained this to the evening manager who checked us in but she would not alter the reservation. She wasn't even apologetic about it. Never smiled once, and in my opinion is not fit to be a manager if that's the best customer service experience she can provide. If it weren't for the snowstorm approaching the next day we would have stayed the extra night we were forced to pay for, for both rooms.

Booked a room with a king-size bed at Country Inn & Suites online. It was a great price, the room was clean and comfortable. We checked in late, and the front desk attendant was polite and very helpful. The lobby was well lit and nicely decorated. It was a little odd how there was no access to the hallways leading to the hotel rooms from the lobby. We had to turn by the front door and go down a long hallway. The room was clean, as I stated, but the shower walls had streaks, probably from a cleaner being sprayed and left on too long. So it could have been cleaned a little better, but nothing major. We did have a good chuckle when we noticed what appeared to be a bottle opener on the bathroom door frame. I thought maybe it was a joke and a guest put it there, but it is painted the same color as the frame and very aged. You can clearly see it in one of my photos it's very funny. I guess it would come in handy if you were having a party in your room and using the bathtub as a cooler. It made me wonder if all the rooms came equipped with such a thing or if it was just our room (117). There was a very loud mechanical noise all night long, but it was not coming from our room. I figured someone left their bathroom fan running as they were loud. They had a full breakfast in the lobby, so it was nice we did not have to hot a breakfast spot.

Overall very good. A bit overpriced IMO in comparison to what you get at others of same price. Cleanliness a plus! Good customer service Cleaning staff polite & w/smiles! Decent breakfast! Extremely strong funky perm- like odor in lobby and hallways👎 Thermostat wasn't regulating temperature through the night. Woke up cold, despite setting- it wouldn't hold set temperature through the night.

The hotel was very clean, appeared recently renovated and was in a great part of town. I was surprised at the range of breakfast options for adults and kids and really liked the presentation. The room was clean and inviting and the landscaping was nicely done. It was a great value for the price we paid as well. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a clean, safe, semi-upscale hotel at an affordable price.

Let’s start by saying I don’t like bashing companies but the service that I got from this establishment was upsetting and sub par at best. I booked a room for Wednesday night in error and had meant to book for Saturday. I immediately noticed my mistake and called to rectify the issue. I was told by the night auditor that she didn’t have permission to change it and that I’d have to call in the morning and speak to a manager to make the changes. I called the next morning and explained my issue and was told there was nothing that could be done because the reservation had already passed. The person on the phone was rude and not professional at all, even after I further explained that I was told to call in the morning to make changes. They didn’t offer a refund or to change the date…NOTHING. She just kept repeating…”sorry sir the reservation is passed…nothing I can do”. So I am having to pay for a night that I wasn’t there and never even checked in. Buyer beware…customer service is awful and they don’t backup what they say.

I enjoyed my stay here, I was greeted with a cookie and they have available coffee and tea. Morning breakfast was definitely awesome. Eggs, cheese, bagels, waffles, fruit and yogurt all ready in the morning.

Unfortunately the room we were given had a broken bathroom pocket door that we had to lift off the floor to move it closed or open. The toilet also didn't flush well. It seems newly remodeled and they did a good job with it overall, nevertheless they had some functionality issues. We went to breakfast 30 min. before it ended and they didn't have hardly any food left which left us and other guests disappointed. The location is okay, but the airport nearby made sleeping difficult as planes flew in and out periodically throught the night. I would stay here again, but they have some real issues with at least our room that needed to be addressed.

Simple hotel, but it was perfect for us. Friendly staff. I love the grounds layout with the courtyard/patio/pool. Main lobby was not large.. but inviting and quaint. Best breakfast I have ever had at a Country Inn & Suites. I will stay here next time I come through Wichita.

I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times were exceptional! This most recent time I stayed was due to a family emergency and the staff were more than amazing working with me. I believe his name was Tarik Khan, what an absolutely wonderful example of amazing customer service. Always so kind, more than willing to help me with anything I needed, and the definition of warm and welcoming. Even seeing his interactions with other customers, he kept that same level of care and kindness. Give that man a massive raise!! The rooms were wonderful, and it’s a wonderful place to stay. Absolutely gorgeous

I booked a room for 5 days. I was here for my daughter's wedding. Usually when you book a hotel online it is not like the pictures. I am happy to say that this hotel lives up to it's pictures. The staff was nice always smiling. The breakfast they served every morning. A great addition to save money on a meal. The rooms were clean and very accommodating. Overall a great experience. Be sure to book here when you are trying to decide where to stay in Witchita.

Great place to stay, lovely front desk attendees. Fabulous breakfast! I have only one negative comment, they put a hold on Credit card for deposit, which isn't unusual but they didn't take off at check out, I asked them if I needed to remind them, He said no its automatic. But it went thru anyway and took several days to be credited back to Credit card. Ugh Said they would Credit back $200 but was only $150! No room damage! Room was clean!

The room is super clean, furniture is comfortable, service is amazing and price was right. We just checked out today and still think 5 stars doesn't do this room justice. This room should be the standard for all hotel housekeeping. Loved our stay and if we ever need a room in Wichita again, this will be where we choose.

TV didnt work, manager was late to respond. Still didnt work after it was serviced. Asked for different room, none available. Asked to cancel reservation through Priceline appeal, and the manager flat out refused to agree to it. Luckily, someone else canceled their reservation & i was able to take that room. Had they not, i would have been stuck with no tv & no refund. Horrible management. *EDIT* Standard cookie cutter reply from mgr below. Further proof of terrible service. Profit over customer care. Read other reviews...same thing. Will NEVER stay there again & will certainly spread the word.

Would give less if I could, stayed here 11/28, the room was 85$, we were charged an additional 150$ deposit and even after all of that they charged 50$ for “ruining sheets with makeup or something”. I don’t know any hotel spending 50$ on one sheet. When we called to figure out why the 85$ room was now 285$ they were rude, ignored calls and then threatened to call the police. DONT GO HERE! They have terribly customer service, and the staff hardly speaks English. Worst hotel stay I’ve had, mr mohammed was extremely rude and lacked customer service completely.

My first time staying here and I was pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean. Parking lot, office, hallways, and my room. Front desk staff was pleasant & helpful. My room had a large tv, microwave, mini fridge, comfortable chair, and iron with board. The bed was rather hard, but that was the only thing. I stayed a few nights and it was quiet the whole time. They served a full breakfast every morning. The hotel is in a great location near freeway and shopping.

Immediately upon entering our hotel room, we were greeted with a potent musty smell. The room was clearly not cleaned, as my dog quickly found chocolate and pretzels on the floor. The worst part, and the reason we immediately left, was due to water damage and mold in the bathroom. Despite being in the hotel for less than 5 minutes total, the front desk staff was unapologetic and stated we’d still need to pay for the stay. Unfortunately, discussions with management have also been unproductive, and no staff we’ve discussed the issue with have seemed concerned about the poor presentation of the room, the mold, or the awful experience.

The fact there was a damage fee I had to prepay and was never refunded. Also was charged a separate 22.00 the next day bringing the total charges up to 144 and some change... Definitely not what was originally agreed to. The beds were not comfortable as they seemed worn out . The staff didnt do anything about a group of customers being extremely loud... Slamming doors wrestling and bumping walls , Yelling and knocking on other customer doors. Then the next morning the staff wasn't available to check out , I waited until a younger guy dealt with me in a way that I was an inconvenience because I wanted to check out. The room was two tones of white there was dirt on the bathroom floor... It looked like there had been unfinished sheetrock and painting unfinished. Overall extremely unprofessional and definitely will not use ever again

Pre Covid I loved this hotel and stayed quite often. In the last 2 years it's gone downhill dramatically. I booked a 4 night stay for my grandson and I in June to have a local staycation and spend some time swimming and enjoying family time together. Upon checking in I noticed that the room smelled very musty and not fresh. I called the front desk and the manager came to my room and sprinkled carpet deodorizer on the floor and sprayed room freshener. She said that although I was staying multiple days and wouldn't normally get housekeeping, she'd be sure to have housekeeping come to the room the next day for us, however housekeeping never came and the room remained musty and unclean smelling throughout my stay. When booking I specifically asked about the availability of the pool, and when checking in I also stated that we were there specifically to swim for a few days. I was assured that the pool would be available. The very next day we tried to use the pool only to find that it had been closed so that they could reseal it. Completely disappointing and not up to the standards that this hotel had a few years ago.

I stayed there last week for 5 days and was treated like family. The front desk manger Tomi was super polite and really made us felt welcomed. Staff was really friendly along with house keepers that suggested local restaurants to eat and places to visit for my family. Would highly recommend stay here in the future.

It was a great stay at The Country Inn Suites. Check in was handled swiftly and effectively. The room was immaculate and everything was great with the presentation of the room. For the value I couldn't beat it and I was there because I was attending a wedding that was located about 7min down the road. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone whose going to be in the area.

I stayed 7/22/22-7/25/22. Check in was smooth and easy. Our first room had a slight problem but Tomi quickly moved us to a different room, no questions asked. No problems with the second room. Breakfast had a great variety. The hotel was very quiet for as full as it was. I always take my own washcloth to wash my face when traveling so I don’t mess up hotels white linens. The make up washcloth was a great idea. All the staff was very prompt and friendly. As a manager at a Radisson in another state I was extremely pleased with this hotels cleanliness and the service we received. Will definitely stay here again when I’m return to Wichita.
