So the guy that's? Working. Today tells me? The room rate today is for $81. I go to the website and it's says 52.00 . This room isn't worth eighty So I won't be going back. There hopefully with this new job. It brings new adventures so I can find somewhere to go. I won't have to be renting romes wasted my hard earned money.

Hotel was very close to airport. Great value for your dollar! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The smoke smell wasnt the only offensive smell. We could tell when we drove up that it was not going to be good. If we hadnt prepaid we would have gone elsewhere immediately. The room decor was half country cute, and have modern. Major clashing. The mirrors in front of the bed were creepy. The only positive was the staff were super friendly and accommodating It wasnt worth the money.

Our group arrived at the hotel and was then told about BTK (the infamous killer in Wichita) and the attendant’s girlfriend while checking in. Hotel room had a stain on the pillow and holes in the comforter. We were told we could leave our vehicles and receive transportation to and from the airport on our vacation. After calling over 5 times in Texas, to make sure our transportation would be ready (and receiving no response), we arrived back at the Wichita airport, where we then called 5 more times with still no response. Transportation never arrived and we were left to order an Uber. The hotel then told us “it’s not our responsibility if you’re not staying the night again” which we were mysteriously never told in the first place. All in all, don’t expect transportation to be waiting for you.

Very disappointing. NO breakfast, aside from a basket of Capt'n Crunch granola bars at front counter. Loud jackhammer sounds at 9:00 pm. (Hotel guests were congregating in the hallway to discuss, so we weren't the only ones.) Front desk attendant had to leave to go pick up another employee, leaving the hotel unattended. Toilet continues to run unless you jiggle the handle. Very run down. Smoke smell in lobby at all times.

I wish I had taken a photo. They had these 50's themed in-room appliances (fridge and coffee maker) that really hid the old antiquated furniture behind the theme of the hotel. Very clever. It was at least clean. Might give it a better rating but they posted breakfast hours and didn't offer it. That was a bummer. Friendly staff, just not honest on breakfast. Located off highway, but a bit hard to get to being on the wrong side of a frontage road.

Non smoking rooms but lots of people smoked in the hallways. The halls always smelled strongly of smoke and sometimes marijuana smoke. The desk phone was broken in our room. The door to our room had to be pushed to shut all the way, it just kind of stopped not quite closed. Obviously there were new linens and the rooms had been repainted recently but the furniture was older and fairly worn. The bed was very firm and the mattress seemed new, but the pillows were old and really lumpy. There was no breakfast, just some granola bars at the check out desk. There was a place set up to be used as a breakfast area with tables and racks for breakfast foods and coffee urns, but it was always empty. Most of the time the chairs were not even set up at the tables so the area was not even usable if you needed seating outside of your room.

I booked a smoke free room. If this room was actually smoke free, it was only made so a day or two ago. I was begrudgingly given a second room, but lectured that the first one should still have been fine. Everything stunk. The front desk employee keyed into my second room without knocking.

Sometimes it’s not how fancy a place is—sometimes it’s about the people. Here I can honestly say the people make this Howard Johnson an excellent stay. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful when we arrived, was very accommodating when we had special requests, took his time and was genuinely attentive to us. The young woman behind the desk this morning went above and beyond to see that we had a great start to our morning. Our beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed—five stars!

Management is awful. There was an auto accident in their parking lot and they refused to do anything to help them. They are rude and dont value their customers.

One of the least expensive hotels near Wichita's airport. The room was nice with newish furniture, carpet, and draperies. The bed was comfortable. We stayed the night before flying out on vacation and they let us leave our car in the parking lot at no cost while on our trip. There was shuttle service to the airport, but upon our return there was none even though we were told there would be.

The people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The price for the room is very reasonable. The room had a kitchenette as well as a wheelchair helpful bathroom and king bed. The two things that we didn't like were that there was a door between our room and the next room. That made for a lot of noise from a little child in that room. The other issue is that they promote free breakfast. The breakfast consists of different granola bars of your choice. Not much of a breakfast

Although the room was cute I can tell they don't take too much time cleaning the rooms before the next guest, but great service and the water pressure was amazing!

I guess you get what you pay for. I usually have pretty good luck with affordable hotels but this one was not the best. The shower didn't drain, which means that it can't be very clean if the water sits in it. The sheets were awful, so scratchy. Also it's right by the highway and it is LOUD. They had no breakfast due to COVID, but employees weren't wearing masks or taking any precautions. Would not stay again.

Could not be more dissatisfied. This hotel is falling apart. The towel rack literally fell off the wall when I closed the door. The toilet ran all night. The housekeeping showed up at 7am knocking on my door. Couldn't get on the wireless. Breakfast was a stale oat bar from Walmart. Nothing about this hotel was up to par or matched what they purported to have on their website. There are dozens of other low budget hotels that you can choose from. Don't come here.

No breakfast, and no elevator. My roommate and I had a room on the 2nd flood but my roommate is using a walker and is on oxygen and he had to climb the stairs to get to our room. Hotel very outdated.

About what I’d expect from a budget friendly place. We stayed here twice in the past week—the first room was surprisingly clean, the second one not so much. We were greeted with a stained bedspread and carpet and an overall musty smell, but again, it was about what we expected—our first room just didn’t seem to have as much wear. The bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was an off-brand nutri grain bar (one per person) that you had to request at the front desk, and there was only juice available—the coffee machine was out of order. It was a fine place to spend a night, and there’s a microwave and fridge in the room, so you can plan on bringing something with you for breakfast or picking something up on the way out of town. Overall, about the best you’ll get for ~$60 per night, and it was in good shape given the age of the place. Nice front desk staff as well. I’d come back if I were in the area again.
